My fiancé and I go here when we have exhausted all of our eateries. Tonight we ordered take out(General Tso’s Chicken wings and Shrimp fried rice) which was the worst decision to make for two hungry souls. The wings were awful and the rice was extremely vile to say the least. We even called to speak with the manager and he attempted to argue with my fiancé. This place will no longer be our last resort.

We have never had a bad meal or experience at Pearl Dynasty. My only piece of advice is to eat there during their lunch hous when you get the lunch special. You get your entrees with fried rice and soup and it’s cheaper than the dinner option with plain rice.

We haven’t ate here in quite a while, so when the roast was still frozen we ordered for pickup. Really wish we hadn’t. Ordered a soup, appetizer and four entrees for $ 58. Everything was bland, runny, soggy and generally unappealing. Four in our family and no one enjoyed any of it. Have had better pork dumplings from HEB. Last time eating here…

Eeeew. This has to be the WORST Chinese food I’ve ever eaten. The fried rice tasted so stale like it had been sitting up all day. The egg foo young was just so disgusting I ended up throwing it all away knowing I would never finish it. A complete waste of money

Food is good! I’ve only been here for lunch but the service is fast and the food is hot and fresh. I did not like the wonton soup, so I just orders the lunch special without it. The egg rolls are large and always fresh.

Excellent quality of food and wonderful customer service. Main server remembers customers and very personable. Have done take out a number of times with no issues; always friendly and quick.

Damn what everybody else is saying, the food was on point, the service was above par, and the prices were reasonable. The creepy part is this place is always empty… partially due to take-out orders I would assume.

Their food is excellent. My boyfriend and I love eating here. They have a dinner combo special from 3:00 — 6:00. Everything we’ve had is delicious and the meat is good quality. They are really fast with to-go orders too.

Nothing here taste fresh. I am convinced that they reheat their food and service it as to-go orders. In the past we have always got good food from Pearl Dynasty, not sure if tonight they decided to microwave everything from the weekend because it was slow. Time to look for a new neighborhood Chinese spot.

I work around the corner from the Pearland Location next to Krogers so I usually order my food online. They usually call and confirm the order, which they never do, so I usually call and make sure they received it. Every time this particular older, tall, asian man works there he is very rude. I usually order for the entire office and pay seperately so he asks that I make orders seperately. This one time that I do just that, oder seperately, he calls to confirm my order and asks if I am ordering 2 of the same thing, I said«Yes» and he replies by saying«hmm just wasting paper» I said«I’m sorry» he says«nothing». I asked him if he said that«I was just wasting paper because it was two seperate orders that I am paying seperately?» and he said«yes, you just wasting paper»(very rudely). At that point I had enough with the rudeness and asked him to cancel our order because he was so rude! I WILLNEVERORDERFROMHEREAGAIN. NOWONDERWHYTHISPLACESREMAINSSOEMPTYHALFTHETIME!

My wife and I enjoy going here. It is quiet, good food, nice ambiance and polite service. It’s a neighborhood favorite.

First off, this place is mediocre at best. I get a headache from the food after every meal. However, since it is the only chinese restaurant nearby, I thought I would give it another chance. I called in to place a pick up order and was greeted by a rude old man. I brushed this off and wanted to order a Moo Goo Gai Pan Lunch special. Since I do not like any of the soups, I wanted to substitute it for a vegetable eggroll. Please note that these eggrolls are tiny, 3 inches at most. Here’s the best part: he literally says«No» I ask why and he says that«soup is complimentary» I’m such a bad guy for trying to substitute soup for something worth less in value! Anyway, I said«OK, thanks!» and hung up of course. Food is overpriced, not good, and customer service is awful. Let’s do the math… this place is lucky I can’t rate lower than one star.

I admit i can be picky about Chinese food because i have been fortunate enough to eat somewhat more traditional home made stuff from my room mate. So I will try to judge the food here for what it is. Cheap takeout that hits you with the trifecta: Salt, grease, and sugar. In this particular review I had Kung Pao Beef. First off the hot and sour soup that came before the main dish was quite thick probably due to the excessive amounts of cornstarch used. It is common practice but here it was overdone to the point of the soup becoming a syrupy soggy mess. The soup not being hot did not help either. The egg rolls are mediocre and you could get the same from the frozen section at your supermarket. The Kung Pao was decent but the sauce suffered the same aforementioned problem of the Hot and Sour Soup. Even the fortune cookies disappointing, they were stale! Food like this would typically receive one star from me but the quantity was decent for the price. I ate during the lunch special. For that I will add one star. There are better places if you are into faux traditional asian food and in Houston these places are a dime a dozen. Look around, you can do better. 2STARS — AK

I really don’t know how to put this without sounding terrible, so let me just throw it out there: this is the place to bring your non-Chinese/Asian friends when they say they like Chinese food. Whew! Okay, for cheap Chinese food, I agree with my fellow Unilocaler and Pearlander(Mellisa M — shoutout!) this isn’t bad. I order take out typically and my wife is happy we don’t have to cook or clean up for the evening. For the price, it’s win-win for me!!! For that alone, I will up my review to 3-stars!

I went here because I wanted a quick and easy lunch option in Pearland which is near where I work. As I parked and walked in I thought the place was definitely nice for a relatively cheap Chinese food place. I waited and waited for someone to come seat me. It became uncomfortable after a while. There were no waitstaff to be found but several tables were eating and periodically looking at me. It was weird. Eventually a stern not so friendly man came and brought me to a table. I ordered a diet coke and it tasted awful and lacked syrup and had far too much carbonation. I then had the egg drop soup which was extremely hot but not good. It wasn’t awful, it just wasn’t good. I ordered the sesame chicken, fried rice, and pork egg rolls. I was really hungry but I only ate half of the chicken and less than that of the rice. The rice was really bland which was off for fried rice. The chicken was a little tough and the sauce was just below mediocre. The egg roll was the best thing about the meal. Overall, the place was clean, the service was spotty, and the food was blah. I won’t be back. There are tons of options for food in this area, I’m sure you can find somewhere better.
