I order Chinese takeout now and then and had forgotten about this place. I was pleasantly surprised. The food arrived within 30 minutes and was warm and fresh tasting. I ordered the kung pao chicken and asked them to make it extra spicy. It was delicious!

The absolute worst! Delivered two live roaches with their white rice and then refused a refund, even going as far to threaten the police! I do not recommend in anyway, spend your money elsewhere.

Roaches in your food? I hope someone calls the health department. This is how people get food poisoning.

Probably the best Chinese delivery in west Pearland. NOTE: They are now called China Bistro. I wish they would implement online ordering because the language barrier can be rough to work through over the phone. Hot & Sour soup is off the chain.

Just ate quite possibly the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Awful fried rice, terrible Hunan chicken, and horrendous hot & sour soup… should have known it would be bad when parked in front of restaurant to pick up take out order by phone on Friday night @ about 8:45& there were no cars & no diners! Do yourself a favor & ignore this place, go somewhere else! j

I got a flyer on my door, so I decided to try it out. It was okay. I ordered Szechuan Chicken, Mongolian Beef, & Four Happiness. The first two were dinner specials that came with an eggroll, soup, and rice. Pros: the price is decent for the amount of food, only $ 7.95 per entrée and enough to feed 3 people with leftovers. There were choices for appetizer(crab rangoon, pork or veg eggroll), soup(h&s, wonton, or egg drop), and rice(white, fried, or brown). I liked the convenience of ordering online and my food was delivered in about 40 minutes. The driver was really nice, too. Cons: the fried rice smelled funky, like a wet rag that has been left out. The entrees were not that bad, but with so much sauce, it’s hard to eat without the rice. The Mongolian beef had A LOT of onions and it was a little on the salty side. The Szechuan chicken was pretty good, flavorful & a bit sweet. The Four Happiness only had 3 shrimps &2 scallops, such were overcooked. The hot & sour soup was really dark and salty, but at least it wasn’t bland. No crispy noodles included. I’m not sure if I would order from here again. Maybe it’s because I’ve had better Chinese food elsewhere, but considering the area, it might be the best Chinese restaurant here, which doesn’t say much other than other places are worst.

My first time having their food!!! Pretty good… HOTTT!!! I had my lunch delivered… It was fast & the price wasn’t bad! We ordered General’s Chicken & Pepper Steak! The Cream cheese puffs were fried more«crispy» than I would have liked… but overall… pretty good. I will be visiting again & this time… For dinner!!!

Ever since they changed management, they decided to double up on the sodium and minimize on the communication skills. Called for a «routine» delivery order like I used to for the past 3 years and the dude behind the phone said«i dont know» to everything i ordered(except the white rice). Such a shame, reminds me of their glory years(fake tears).

What is wrong with you people? have you never had good fresh fast Chinese Food Delivery before? We’ve recently moved from Sugar Land to Pearland, were craving some Chinese Delivery for dinner as I didn’t want to cook, so I turned to Unilocal.Oh how I miss the one we used in Sugar Land! OMG it’s the McDonald’s of Chinese Food. we had the E thing described below because there’s no menu online anywhere. We ordered fried rice and crispy rice noodles for the oily bland lacking in ingredients hot and sour soup,(it NOT hot, spicy or warm temp wise or sour) and we received no crispy noodles and white rice. The sauce was the same for the mealy frozen Garlic Shrimp as the Broccoli Beef, who’s broccoli was brown in the center of the gooey stem and flowers were brown on the edges from what I can only hope was freezer burn and the House Special Lo Mein is a greasy disaster flavored with soy sauce and very little ingredients none of which were fresh I’m sure. do yourself a favor and like me wish I’d just made grilled cheese sandwiches and cream of tomato soup for dinner and save the $ 40 bucks.

Recently went back for another order of Chinese take out. I was slightly disappointed to see they seemed to have cut back on their meat portions. Before, the lids barely fit because they cram so much food into the containers. This time, both dishes had plenty of air space in the container. Food is still really tasty and they have yet to screw up any of my orders. That alone deserves a commendation for a Chinese restaurant.

Best Chinese delivery in Pearland! We just had Su China Bistro tonight. It’s our go-to when we’re too lazy to cook or go get something from a drive-thru. We’ve been ordering from them for about at least three years now. It’s worth every penny, and we get a good, hot meal delivered to our door. It is consistently good every single time. We’ve eaten in the restaurant once before, but since they deliver to us in Manvel, it’s kind of a no-brainer. Their menu is extensive, and unlike some places that serve more than one kind of Asian cuisine, their focus is solely Chinese. They also cook with no MSG and there’s never any«mystery» meat in your dishes. Chicken is always white meat, beef is always beef, etc. This is what keeps us coming back for more – quality! As one reviewer mentioned, they pack their food in plastic containers, not styrofoam. Not only does that hint to us that they care, but it ensures that our food arrives still piping hot. What we like to get is their Package E1, which is perfect for two people. It includes 2 apps, 2 soups, 2 entrees, and a free order of pan fried or steamed dumplings or fried shrimp rolls. You also get a choice of steamed or fried rice. We usually get crab puffs or egg rolls, wonton soup(or hot and sour if we have a cold), and either the house special lo mein and a meat dish with veggies. Our favorites are basil chicken, beef with mixed veggies(or just broccoli), kung pao bean curd and honey shrimp. Every order comes with a packet of condiments, usually red sauce, «soy sauce”*, Chinese mustard(depending on what you order, if it’s appropriate), and individually wrapped fortune cookies. They don’t typically include plasticware or chopsticks, but if you asked for them, I’m sure you would get some. With tax, our meal usually comes out to $ 24.88. We usually tip around $ 5, so for about $ 30, you get a really good meal, sometimes with leftovers, and you don’t even have to leave the house or pick up a pan! What could be better than that? Also, after 10 orders, you get one order free! Our next order will be our free one. If that doesn’t tell you how much we love this place, I don’t know what does. :) *Check the packets they give you; it’s not real soy sauce. But, we keep some around so it’s not a big deal.

After trying Silverlake Hunan and reading the rave reviews over Su vs. Silverlake, we ended up here a few days later during lunch. We walk in to the staff preparing crab rangoons or something right there at a booth near the TV, barehanded. The waiter gives us a menu, gets our drinks, then settles back in to making barehanded wrapped cream cheese things. I should’ve left. The Gen. Tso’s was a nice spicy sweet, spicier than Silverlake Hunan, but had no broccoli. The Mongolian beef was better meat than Hunan but the sauce lacked flavor unlike Hunan’s, so it evens out I guess. Boyfriend really liked the wonton soup. I gave him mine as I dislike brothy soups. The décor was typical Chinese diner, with lucky cats and pagodas and cardboard cutouts AND a HUGE dead roach right in front of the glass front, by the tables, which SURELY the staff would’ve noticed and removed since it was 2:30PM and they were as dead as that 3″ roach. I lost my appetite between the bare hands and the roach. Won’t be back. I know Chinese culture is a bit more loose with sanitary standards and i should be happy that no one was spitting on the floor(read David Sedaris’s awesome piece about eating in China!) but good grief, put on gloves and sweep up.

Great hidden away Chinese place in the suburbs. So many of these suburb restaurants are just way overpriced and not high quality. Su China Bistro has a great lunch special for 6.50 with excellent quality food. This place has the feel of a standard chinatown restaurant from Houston and the prices to match. We had the chicken and broccoli and the Mongolian beef. Both were great dishes. The eggdrop soup was also high quality.

So tonight we ordered Chinese food to be delivered. The best thing about this place was the quick delivery. We ordered two soups. Won ton and Hot and Sour. We only got won ton and it was tasteless. The fried dumplings and egg roll were mediocre. My husband ordered shrimp egg foo young. It came with a dark brown runny sauce and not the traditional light brown thick sauce. Yuck. The egg foo young had no bean sprouts in it. It was like the cook and no clue what to put into this dish. It had broccoli in it. Very weird. We also had Mongolian Beef it was just okay. Not going back. We ate in on our first visit and ordered a Pad Tai. They had no clue how to cook Thai food it too had no bean sprouts in it. We have had this dish in many other cities and this dish did not come close. We thought we would just stay away from the Thai food and give this place a second try. We are done, we will keep on looking.

This is the best Chinese Restaurant in Pearland hands down. I missed eating authentic Asian food at home and in Chinatown after moving to Pearland two months ago, so I was on a quest to find something delicious closer to my new home. After a few attempts, I almost gave up on Pearland’s «Chinese food» until I stumbled upon Su’s China Bistro after eating at a pizza joint next door. The little place intrigued me. I live right across the street from Su’s, so I figured I’d give it a try later on. The first time I wanted to order take out from there, I tried looking for a website, but unfortunately, they didn’t have any. So I ended up doing take-out from this crappy place down the street… Hunan Restaurant. The food was flavorless and tasted like it was frozen. I was sad. A few days later, I found a little flyer that was wedged in between my apartment door, and wa-la! It was Su’s China Bistro. I was so excited to see it, so I decided to order take-out that evening. My bf and I decided to do this neat dinner combo where you get to choose 2 appetizers, 2 soups, 2 dinner entrees, and a free item for only about $ 23. What a great deal! I call the place and placed my order. The guy on the line, whom I was assuming was the owner, was very nice. My bf picked up the order and brought it back home. My First Impression Analysis I’m a food fanatic, and I work in the restaurant business, so I have the tendency to observe every detail around me. This is why I think this place deserves 5 stars: 1. The Package. The food was placed in nice plastic containers that you would normally find at fine dining establishments. This to me tells me that they don’t cut corners by putting things in those cheap Styrofoam containers. I keep them as Tupperware afterwards. 2. The Taste. We had egg drop soup, hot & sour soup, crab puff, egg roll, shrimp spring roll, Szechuan Beef, General Tsos Chicken, and white rice. The soups were fantastic! They didn’t cut corners on the ingredients in the hot & sour soups like the Hunan Restaurant did down the street. The crab puff and egg rolls were crispy, hot, and delicious. The free shrimp spring roll were the best! They rolled large shrimps in a wonton wrapper and fried it to a crisp. I would definitely pay extra for those. For our entrees, the Szechuan beef and General Tsos Chicken just topped the cake. I could tell that it was fresh, authentic, and probably cooked by the owner or the owner’s wife and not by some Hispanic person that had no clue about how to merry Asian flavors. They also gave us the option to have fried rice or white rice, and I chose the white rice. Even the rice is delicious! I don’t have to raid my mom’s kitchen for authentic Asian food anymore. 3. The Place. The second time I made a to-go order, I wanted to pick it up myself to further analyze this little gem. When I went inside to pick up my order, I saw the owner diligently rolling up silverware in nice, tight, and perfect rolls. I walked up to him and told him that I had a to-go order to pick up. He promptly gets up to retrieve the order. As I was waiting, I observed the décor. It was very simple, but you could still see the care that they put into it. I saw the table selection that they chose for their restaurant. It wasn’t the cheap sort of tables that you normally see in most Chinese restaurants, you can tell that they carefully selected a nice two-tone wood grained table that was simple yet elegant. Even the chairs seemed to be carefully selected. Then there were a few good luck Chinese décor on the wall. It wasn’t pretentious or extravagant. I liked it. 4. The Service. The man comes back from the kitchen and goes around the counter to hand me the bag the proper way with both hands extended out. It is hard to find places nowadays that gives the genuine attention to the details in every aspect of service and takes such pride in the product that they serve. The people who owns this place are amazing. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Was the best Chinese food in the area. Delivery family deals were same as Silverlake Hunan, but food taste and quality beat Silverlake without question. New management has not done any favors to this restaurant. Their food quality has suffered as has the customer service. Family meals are a bit anaemic in their selection as compared to the previous management. I will order elsewhere unless I see a drastic change.
