I was in Peekskill to conduct some DMV business and ended up with extra time so I decided to go here for lunch. The restaurant was fairly empty and being alone, I opted to sit at the counter. The waitress came right over and gave me the regular menu and the Daily Special which was a burger with bacon, cheese, lettuce & tomato and your choice of fried or raw onions. I picked the fried onions. The burger comes with french fries. All this for $ 6.95.
Service was prompt and efficient. The fact that the waitress kept talking to herself won’t detract from my rating.
Not the best burger I ever ate but this may be the BEST VALUE in a hamburger I’ve ever seen.

Never again will I go here. Worker knew a large bill was not a second tip and wasn’t honest enough to put it aside for me to claim it. They definitely lost my business.

If I could give no stars I would. My daughter and i actually felt sick after eating here. I really can’t reccomend this place with a clear conscious.

My girlfriend and I decided to visit the Burger Diner for lunch. The food was no less or more exceptional than any surrounding diners in the area. However, it was a plus that their menu offered a wide selection of diverse dishes. Not my first choice but would visit again.

This is the same almost everything that was the Patio II.
Almost…the pancake batter has changed. The result went from terrific, thin, light and melt-​in your mouth to the same thick doughy result at most diners in the area. This greatly decreases breakfast appeal. I did comment on this to the manager, so we will see if they switch back.
The name is certainly uninspired, and they need a new sign (we thought the place had closed).
On the plus side, the staff is unchanged and service is still terrific. We will see how the food develops.
