Laurie Lucov Wedding Cakes

We were married in Tahoe and weren’t impressed with any of the local bakers in the area. My mom recommended Laurie and we certainly were not disappointed! We ordered three flavors of cupcakes, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Carrot Cake, and Coconut Almond. They were delicious!!! (everyone raved about the chocolate peanut butter… my husband and I didn’t even get one at our own wedding! haha)
Admittedly, I was concerned about the prospect of traveling such a far distance without the cupcakes either 1) getting destroyed or 2) not tasting fresh! Boy was a surprised. Laurie packed them perfectly and not a single one was damaged. In addition, the cupcakes tasted just like they had been made the same day! Each flavor was decorated slightly different and Laurie had them displayed on a beautiful cupcake tower. All we had to do was add a few fresh flowers as garnish from the local florist. We received so many compliments on them and Laurie even made us a small round carrot cake so we could have the experience of «cutting the cake». Laurie was an absolute pleasure to work with! Her attention to detail and passion for her work was evident. Not to mention, she is a fantastic person! We are lucky to have such an accomplished baker here in Petaluma!!!

mmm… Laurie Lucov’s cakes are delicious and beautiful! We served two cakes at our wedding (lemon pound cake/​buttercream & chocolate caramel with sea salt/​buttercream). She created a beautiful FOUR tiered cake that was truly tasty. We were impressed from the moment we met to taste her cupcakes to the moment we cut our cake on our wedding day! We received many compliments on the quality of our cake and could not be more pleased! Laurie is sweet and so are her cakes:)
