This place is magical. This place offers a world away from boring and typical. Every piece is more beautiful and unique then the next. I wanted it all!

Just visited again – great service! Helped us track down another copy of a sold piece and found two more we loved. Great, great customer care. If we had room, we’d buy more. As it is, I know we’ll be back.

This. Place. is. Awesome. I mean the best furniture store I’ve ever been to. I was at the end of my rope looking for furniture, because I found it to be so overpriced and I didn’t want to deal with the hassle of Craigslist. Then I walked into Nadeau and the heavens opened. BEAUTIFUL and unique furniture at extremely fair prices. I wanted to buy everything in there but settled on a dresser and a night stand. The dudes in there were as nice as could be and they finish the furniture right there in their workshop. Go here before you go anywhere else. Best in the city.

Prior to my visit, I had spent the day furniture shopping. I was frustrated with the poor quality furniture and the high prices. When I walked into Nadeau, I actually stopped and gasped. The store has two floors crammed(seriously, most pieces are actually stacked) with full unique and colorful pieces. The employees at the store went above and beyond for me. I was in the store for nearly 2 hours looking for the perfect items for my new apartment. They helped me take down pieces of furniture, move it across the store, to see how it looked next to another piece of furniture. They helped me set up mock kitchen sets(different chairs with a table, etc) and gave great recomendations. They listened to my concerns(«the kitchen is this big. We love this table, but maybe it’s too small, what do you think given the space?) and came up with great alternatives. Not once I feel pressured to buy a piece of furniture. They didnt’ try to sell me on any piece. They were truly intereste in helping me find the best pieces for my space and needs. I am in my early 20’s and thus don’t make big purchases often. I loved the design and quality so much that I spent $ 1000, and asked to be contacted prior to their next shipment so I could potentially buy more.

I prefer to call this place the hipster IKEA. Under the veneer of weathered, «one of a kind» pieces, you’ll realize these are just mass produced items made in India just like any of the big box retailers. Brilliant marketing though, and regardless, I think they have some pretty cool and colorful pieces. I picked up a nice unique looking bench seat and big desk for the right price. I can’t really speak to how well the furniture will hold up to wear and tear, but it certainly looks unique, and if that’s what you’re going for… and you’re not looking to spend a small fortune, this is the place for you.

So much fun treasure hunting for unique furniture finds! We recently moved from a 1 bedroom condo to a 5 bedroom house and this store was awesome in helping us find one-of-a-kind pieces at a great price(that didn’t scream IKEA)!! No dis to IKEA… All together, we walked away with three pieces under $ 1K. Additionally, the delivery rates are so reasonable, that it doesn’t even make sense to go through the ordeal of taking it home yourself! It seems as though they get deliveries quite often, so we will definitely stop in regularly, just so we don’t miss out on any«OMIGOSH I HAVETOHAVETHAT» moments …

You have to want to look through a jumble of furniture looking for what you want, but it’s worth it. They have clear signage stating that all sales are final, so knowing that in advance, you should thoroughly check out what you are purchasing. I’m sure the clutter is what helps keep their prices low. For the price, I was very pleased with my purchases. If you’re looking for interesting, though not entirely unique accent pieces, you can’t go wrong here.

Affordable, colorful furniture with character. The shapes are unique(mix of country-style, industrial modern, 70’s) and they have some really beautiful standing cabinets. Kinda wish I needed one! Costs less than quality pieces at IKEA, better selection, and you don’t have to assemble! Store is very spacious, but the first floor is a bit of a wreck to sift through. Mostly packed wall-to-wall and you can’t really see what you’re looking at or the prices. Definitely not wheelchair accessible. Might just be a function of their being brand new. While I’m very pleased with what I got(4 red metal Tolix-style chairs for $ 84 each and a robin’s egg blue side table for $ 105) and have no plans of returning any of it, I would have appreciated if someone had told me that ALLSALESAREFINAL! If you’re like me, looking to purchase interesting furniture with a decent life-span, don’t have the time to sift through endless antique/vintage stores, and can’t imagine spending $ 150+ on a single dining room chair, I recommend checking Nadeau out.
