Applebee’s

Well… They really deserve no stars! Absolutely zero!!! First walked in and immediately I felt disgusted with the atmosphere. Not one server said hi or nothing positive at all. Poor selection of beer and food. Applebees really went downhill. We ended up just getting a beer each and leaving. Because our server decided to stay by the register and chat with her other co-​workers looking at each other’s phones! Save your money and time and go some other place!

Came in today for Father’s day with my dad and husband and my 5 kids. We ordered and waited and when our food finally arrived our waitress Stephanie put the kids plates down and says were out of strawberries so they get apples. Not… were out of strawberries, can I offer something else? When I requested something else she was rude about it. Then our burgers came and the fries were cold. I asked for extra onion and pickle and she told me onion doesn’t come on my burger… had to ask 3x. My 6 yr old never got her apple juice and small portions! Don’t recommend this place to anyone. Waitress was horrible and argued with me about everything.

This place is the pits! The restaurant was stuffy, the bathroom smelled AWFUL, and to make matters worse I was served bad shrimp. Found this out once I arrived home and my stomach started to hurt. Let’s just say I will NEVER eat there again. Don’t eat here unless you want to get sick.

Visiting from So Cal so figured Applebee’s would be the safest choice since its familiar and it was a great choice, totally hit the spot. Greeted by a supervisor, very friendly. My friend and I waited not even 10mins for a table on a busy Friday night. Our waitress greeted us quick, Alicia D. She was super sweet, attentive, and had great customer service. Being a former server, I appreciated her very much. I would definitely come back if I was ever in the area again. :)

How the hell are the ratings this low?
You think this one is bad? Try going to the locations in the suburbs of LA where I’m from. Not even kidding, this was the best Applebees I’ve ever been to. That’s including service, atmosphere & food.
We just got here after a 9 hour drive from LA (thanks traffic)
We just wanted to sit down for dinner at a restaurant we were already familiar with. Knowing Applebees usually blows, we stuck to what we usually get. I got the Top Sirloin (normally not a place you should order steak, but I’m not a normal human lol) holy crap. This steak was delicious. Cooked to perfection and tender as hell. Melted in my mouth. So weird for a non-​steakhouse. I mean I’m not complaining lol. Just wasn’t expecting that.
The server, Alicia D, was fantastic! She was slammed. The whole restaurant was. We came right in the middle of game 4 of the Warriors v. Cavs Finals and being in their home it was packed! If she were any bit flustered, which any server would being that busy, she sure as hell didn’t show it. Didn’t wait for drinks or food, service was fast. Constantly checking on us. Making sure everything was up to par and correct and always had a smile and made us feel welcomed.
The manager was also so sweet. Didn’t catch her name but she was very welcoming and knew how to make us laugh. I’m really jealous that nor-​cal gets this Applebees lol. The atmosphere was fun! Right in the middle of their home team game. Kinda salty because my Lakers blew this season but I’m definitely cheering for the Warriors. :)

Well this is the first time I’ve been to Applebee’s and so far not so good. It took about 20 minutes to get our drinks. Our waitress was waiting like 4 – 5 other tables. It was very under staffed. The only people that are good here is Alicia or Christian. Everyone else takes forever.

Worse Applebee’s ever! Don’t go don’t waste your time!!! Is not even worth the review … SAVE YOURSELF

They kept the drinks and refills coming. The hostess was the eyes and ears of the operation. He kept all wait staff informed. Smiles were pretty common. Our waitress showed up right as I looked up for dessert. I loved that the manager or shift lead kept the motivation going. Looking over at the bar everyone looked happy and entertained. As others left, tables didn’t stay unbussed for long. Great experience and I loved the louder than usual music. (Compared to other Applebee’s) What can I say, I’m a audiovisual technician.

Hmm two stars or three? I’ll go with three, although our appetizer showed up less than hot. It was good though.
I haven’t been to an Applebee’s in quite some time. They’ve made changes to the menu, and now the tables have these ipad-​like screens that you can apparently use to order, pay, and even play games ($ 1.99). We tried to use it to pay, but it didn’t work. We didn’t try it for the other things. I thought it was kind of weird to have the digital device and still have a waitress… if we’re gonna have a server, don’t put options for ordering and paying on the device. Or, if you’re gonna put that on the device, why have us wait for our waitress to take our order?
We did the classic appetizer combo, which came with boneless buffalo chicken, spinach dip + chips and salsa, mozzarella sticks, and quesadillas. It was good, but not too warm, like I already said. I also ordered a bowl of the French onion soup. It was good. My boyfriend ordered the brunch burger, which was topped with hasbrowns and a fried egg, and he liked his, too, but said the fries were bland.
Anyway, yeah, I’ll be back, but probably not often.

Well… I done did it again.
I’m typing this from the toilet. Food sucked. Service sucked. Even the water sucked. Everything took forever. I should of remembered from 6 years ago.

The food is ok, but I enjoy the environment. I guess it is because it Mother’s Day. On a normal day. It is not crowded at all. Our server always have a smile on his. Very cute I should said.

Oh Applebee’s you use to be decent but nowadays you just fell off.
The food quality is becoming a high end frozen dinner line. Unless you come in on a late night after heavy drinking then everything tastes like the best meal of your life.
I ordered the chicken bourbon 2 for $ 20. The shrimp on my chicken was not cooked all the way. And had no mushrooms like it said in the menu. The hosts said it only comes with a little mushrooms. Smh. Take it back, I don’t want it. My son wanted the riblets but was told they don’t have any… It’s 2pm on a Saturday why don’t you? He got the half rack of ribs instead.
The spinach dip was good!
Overall Applebee’s is slowly becoming a place you only want to visit for happy hour, drunk eats & a cheap meal. If you don’t care about quality, this is where you want to be!
But I do, so this will be my last time trying to order food. I’ll just stick with the beer.

I came to order the 2 for $ 20, and was told they ran out of the riblets, which I thought was what Applebee’s was famous for. When ask if I can substitute for the baby back half ribs racks, and I was told it was 2.50 more, I was told no it’s against Applebee’s policy. And to top it off, I was waited 10mins before my order was taking, a family sat down after my family for ONLY 3 mins and theY WERE served first. Unbelievable

Don’t EVER eat here! Filthy lpoking servers, dirty clothing, facial/​bearded hair fell in my plate. Lack of cleanliness very evident. To many negatives to list. Just DON’T DO IT!

Would give this DESPICABLY run establishment ZERO stars if I could. My boyfriend and I ordered curb side to go food for as soon as possible. The description stated it would take 15 minutes. We ordered it at 6:56pm and we are sitting and waiting after going inside and complaining to the manager. Might I add that it is SLOW as can be in here. The female manager left us 10 minutes ago to check on our food and has still not come back. Will never be coming back.

So this place lives up to it’s 2 star reputation. Here we go, first my 2 year old daughter and I are seated in what appears to be the time out booth that is in a corner of the establishment. It was so small that my knees almost hit the other seat across me. The table wouldn’t move any further away from me. I would have to eaten like a T-​Rex with my arms all up close to me. I mention that this booth is not going to work out. The guy who sat us looks at me and asks if I would like to move. So we moved across from that booth to a table.
I order my food. I asked for a Cesar Salad with extra Parmesan cheese. The server (who was really nice) brought me my salad and said «I’m sorry I didn’t ask what dressing you wanted, so I brought out ranch». I let her know that I wish to have Cesar dressing with my Cesar salad I ordered. She then brought me another side of ranch. Then the main dish came out. It looked awesome. It tasted bad. Not satisfied at all with the food. I mean it is Applebee’s, I knew what I was getting into… but damn. To make crap food taste like crappier food, well that’s a new special kind of milestone this location has achieved. I only give this a 2 star rather than a 1 star because I hope someone actually reads this and makes some changes. I doubt it.
Oh, the floors were extremely slippery. I was shuffling out of there so I didn’t slip with my daughter in my arms looking like I had to crap or already did on myself.

So me and my sister showed up to eat around 3pm when it’s slow. We get seated right away. It took our waiter 10 minutes to come over to our table. When she came she didn’t stay long and went to the people behind us. We ordered are drinks and that took 5 minutes. Then we order are 2 for 25 $ meal and we got two salads it took her 15 minutes to bring out a Cesar salad with little to no dressing. Then in the middle of finally eating eating are salads then meal was delivered. My bacon was not crispy lots of fat. It wasn’t even that busy in there for the place to have slow service. And I have had great times at this location but this time I can’t even let them slide.

It was the food and the kitchen manager I had a problem with. I ordered the three cheese chicken penne pasta, which is normally not too bad. However, my plate only had like 3 pieces of chicken! I usually get more but they were being skimpy. I don’t know if I need to blame this solely on the location or the company as a whole but when my lovely waitress took this to the kitchen manager, she brought it back saying that the manager claims this is the standard amount of chicken they give. That is ridiculous!
Our poor waitress even had no words. She just shook her head the whole time.
Stop being cheap and give people some damn chicken!

It’s not just this location I’m talkin about its solely about Applebee’s as a company. I just think that some of the food that’s on the menu don’t live up to the expectations. The pictures are very deceiving as well. I’m basing this review on mainly the food. The customer service was great, we had a trainee and she was really sweet and attentive, and fast…
Besides that, I don’t think the workers really know how some of their items really don’t have any taste to them, or when they do have a taste it tastes like it’s been a frozen TV dinner heated up in the microwave. Their Mac and cheese is really dry, their chicken breast is always over cooked, their enchiladas and rice had no flavor and it was dry. I’ve had these plate at multiple locations just to see if there was a difference… But no, it’s still the same. Even though the food comes out hot and ready, it still doesn’t change the fact that
This is the last time I’ll be spending my money on food at Applebee’s.

First of all the food and dessert is great. I got steak with mashed potatoes, veggies, and it was perfect. The mashed potatoes are made from real potatoes.
The service is great too I had the best waitress ever her name was Ms. Lynn. She was busy but she did her best to serve us. She was super nice.
The décor is not bad. I like fancy places. This Applebee’s is a little old because it’s been here for quite sometime and I see why.
