I believe this location has closed. They claim they are«remodeling» for«new owners» with no time given to reopen. If this is true, it doesn’t seem like a very smart business decision. This store cannot be very old, it didn’t appear to need remodeling, and who shuts down their business to remodel? I can say that they have lost my business. I will find another place to get a good burger for a decent price. Really a shame. The burgers were good, the pricing was good, even the service was good(at least for me) really hard to find a place like that anymore.

This is my first time. My expectation of a food place that was rated #1 burger joint in 2014 is first class food and cleanliness. The food was good but a little pricey at 6.49 for the burger + 2.50 for combo upgrade and + .29 for home style fry seasoning. Additionally 4.25 for a burger kids meal that comes with apple sauce. Maybe my impression would have been swayed if upon walking in I wasn’t hit in the face with a grease smell. I expected a delicious burger smell. Then the floors were sticky and the drink station could use a cleaning. All in all I think they would have received 4 stars if not for the smell and cleanliness.

At least it tasted good once we got our food but the ordering and service is going to cause major loss of business. They take your order. You sit down and than the staff wonders around trying to find whose order is who’s. Heard they made a mistake three times on orders. Can’t they announce numbers– which is on the receipt. Or maybe do like Culvers does and have some kind of number stand to put on the table. They ended up taking our receipt back to figure out where our food was. Had to re make our order due to a mix up. People who ordered after us got their food and ate and left before we even got got our food. About a 40 minute wait for our diner. Place is also so quiet. Have a couple of small TVs on the wall with no sound. No music either. Guess I should have known better than to come to a place that I heard about from a movie theatre pre movie advertisement.

Tried this place while I was staying in the Indy area on a business trip. Overall, I was very satisfied with the prices and food. I ordered a cheeseburger, house side salad, and pickle fries. I chose to try this place because i had read the many raving reviews about these pickle fries. They were fried pickles basically cut into the shape of fries. They did not disappoint! Very good! The salad was decently good for a typical house side salad with ranch, and the burger was excellent. The bun was soft and buttered just enough, and the burger was well done yet still juicy like I love. I’d definitely recommend this place.

After first time of visiting, I wasn’t very pleased with the service I received. I went back again and the service was very good. I’ll give it a 4⁄5 stars. Food is excellent and probably the best burger in town.

I have to respectfully disagree on the Indys best burger claim. But they do offer a good burger that is on par with 5 guys or Steak ‘n Shake. I had«the original» with fries. It had 3 patties nicely seared and stacked served on a sesame bun. It reminded me of a Steak ‘n Shake burger before they were ran by an investment company. It is a walk up an order and your meal is served in a basket. When I was there it seemed that only the manager could take my order and she must have been busy, because there were a couple people behind the counter that told me someone would be right with me. After a minute or two a lady hurried from the back to take my order. It was not a big deal, but I was the only customer and I wondered what would happen if they were slammed. It is a very good fast food burger, but not comparable to Bru.

I noticed this burger joint only because it was connected to another restaurant in a Plainfield strip mall. Their website says this location is one of 6 Indiana locals, Headquartered in Greencastle. The sign on the door read«Voted #1 burger by Indy Food Tours in 2014.» Oh really, Beefcake? Let’s go! The Original: Three patties grilled slightly crispy(in a good way!) and layered with cheese. Custom ordered with a list of potential ingredients(mine is simple, American cheese, grilled onions, ketchup and mayo) and ready within 10 minutes. When I bit into it, I have to say I was impressed. While I wouldn’t say it’s the #1 burger in Indy, it is definitely a burger I’m going to have again and again. Tender meat, high quality condiments, and the onions were banging. The fries were decent, more like a high end fast food fry. Crispy, slightly salted, not addicting but still tasty. However, the best part is the price. I went during lunchtime and paid(after tax) just over $ 7 for a triple cheeseburger, fries and a fountain soda! For this good of a burger it may just be the #1 burger deal in town!

This is the best burger in Plainfield for the price. For under 8 bucks I got a triple cheeseburger 8 different toppings a drink and onion rings. I could barely finish it. The service was helpful and only took a few minutes to cook. The manager even stopped by to see how I was enjoy my meal. If you like a good burger and funky toppings at no charge, this place is for you.

Great burgers! Tons of condiment choices! I went there during the lunch rush and the to go wait was a little long. But I was offered and accepted a sample of the cinnamon ice cream with caramel topping. Yes, they had to twist my arm… :) Prices you can’t beat with the daily special. My first time there and I will be back. I will probably try and make it next time before or after the noon lunch rush.

I stopped by here for lunch because my brother said he heard good things. I ordered the special of the day: double burger, fries and a drink for $ 6.50. The burger was decent, nothing to rave about. The fries were mediocre. They taste like store frozen French fries. No crinkles, waffle or fresh cut as I’ve come to expect at burger joints. Sweet potato fries and onion rings are other options. The wait time was a little longer than I expected as well. It took about 20 minutes for my order. One of the cooks brought my order out to me. She and the cashier were friendly.

The food was great. However the crew leader was very short and rude to us when we asked a question regarding a coupon.

Tried Beefcake Burgers in Plainfield tonight. Love the décor. Burgers and shake were good. Glad you offer sweet potato fries. Hubby had regular, I had sweet potato and both were just ok. Couldn’t beat the prices for a fresh, made to order burger. Will try it again.

I was so excited to try this new burger place in Plainfield. Being a burger fanatic, I figured this was the place for me! Sadly, I didn’t care for any of their food that I tried, except the onion rings. My cheeseburger tasted like fair quality meat… same with the fries. The ketchup was cheap and actually made the food taste worse. The onion rings were decent but very greasy. The woman who took our order looked very angry and treated us like stupid children… not the way to great customers when you are that pricey for fair food. We were actually going to talk to the manager until another employee told us she was the manager /owners daughter. My suggestion: new clients are going to ask questions… tell them the answers nicely and pack away the«you’re so stupid look», up the meat quality, add some flavor to the fries and lower your prices! Oh and pay a couple cents more and use Heinz.

Finally a great burger place!!! The owners and staff are all wonderful. Everything that I’ve eaten has been spectacular. You can actually smell the beer in the battered onion rings. Welcome to Plainfield.

Burgers are awesome on the location on the south side. I Think they have some growing pains as it didn’t match up to the one I have been to before. I would like to see fresh cut like Five Guys or shoestring like Steak and Shake. Besides that, it is worth a try during lunch.

We’ve been here over 30 minutes and haven’t even received our food yet. If it tastes like the service I’m sure it won’t be very good.

The fourth location of the Best Burger in Indianapolis!(I’m not joking, The Indy Food Tour awarded them that award in a competition between Beefcake, Bru Burger, and Punchburger. The Plainfield location joins the two in Greenwood and the one in Greencastle. Everything is made fresh, never frozen, and honestly might change your perception on how a burger should taste. Make it deliciously simple, or add a bunch of toppings to have a masterpiece created for you. Either way, Beefcake Burgers will soar to the top of your list. Their milkshakes are some of the best in the business. Cookies and cream is my go-to. On my burger I get a double, with bacon, fried egg, lettuce, tomato, barbecue sauce and pepperjack cheese. Go here, eat a burger, have your life changed.
