We stopped here for takeout the first day we came here. We got a Veal Parm hero and Ravioli in a blush cream sauce. It was definitely not something you would expect to come from a pizzeria. It was amazing. So was everything else!

Great pizzas and variety! Horrible horrible subs — especially the eggplant Parmesan. It was soggy and the eggplant was not even crispy — it was chewy! Only recommend this place for pizza & minestrone soup.

I think this place can be summed up in one word… unsanitary! We walked in there on 5−2−16 based on the decent reviews from others for dinner while visiting the area, and a strong smell of urine was present throughout the entire restaurant. Will never return.

Do not recommend getting pizza from here. Perhaps my experience was a fluke given the other reviews on this page, but I was horribly disappointed in the pizza I ordered. Had a cheese pizza for take out. Even with the limited pizza options in this area, I won’t be trying this again.

A group of 10 of us went here last night. Big disappointment. The guys started with mussels marinara, and requested medium level spiciness. Came out as mild, sauce was average flavor. Being Italian, I know good gravy. The marinara was definitely made with decent canned whole plum tomatoes but had almost no seasoning. The mussels were a decent size but slightly overcooked. My main course was the ravioli Aurora. It was supposed to be in a blush cream sauce but was marinara mixed with lots of cheese. The cheese eventually cooled and the sauce became chewy, failure 1. The ravioli were small, a little undercooked, NOT al dente. They were definitely frozen, had very little filling, I couldn’t distinguish the crab due to the overwhelming amount of cheese in the sauce. Failure 2. And to top it off our server was rude, not helpful and we were her only table. Failure 3. The room and we were in was nicely decorated and was the only success. I won’t be back.

Hands down my favorite pizza in the area. Literally delicious. I love coming here with my family and getting a pie with onions and peppers. So tasty, and even tastes great(in some ways even better) left over the next day. The onions and peppers they use come in huge pieces, which I love. The mozzarella cheese is just the right amount of stringy when you separate pieces or take a bite. Even the crust is great. I also love their garlic knots and mozzarella sticks. It’s a very casual mom and pop kind of environment, but is also very homey and is a good place to come with your family for a casual meal, pick up a pizza from, or even get a pizza delivered to you from. The staff is always super nice and very accommodating.

One of the best pizza places on WWP. I am rarely disappointed with this place, truly recommend it.

The pizza here is really good. I had a Chicken Romano and Chicken Ranch pizza and Chicken Broccoli. Each taste great with their own distinct flavors.

Here on a Teusday nite, 8:00pm and dinner rush is over. Nobody here but me and another party. Ordered Veil Marsala, salad, side of pasta. Why there is not a line out the door is beyond me! Would of given 5 stars if waiter service was there. You counter order and pay which brings down the aura. Clean tables, Tom Jones music in background, felt like I was in NewYork. Great fresh salad, very tasty entrée, but the Coke in a bottle seem less personnable. The pizzas on display made it hrsd to resist. Great carryout traffic. Will return tommorrow for pizza!

Romeos has been our go-to for casual neighborhood Italian food for more than 10 years. Both for pizzas and sit-down entries. Family owned and always good!

Romeo’s is pretty consistent when it comes to pizza. I usually order take out or delivery so I have not dined inside. My favorite pizza is their Brooklyn Pie in the square shape. This pie has a thin crust and is made with fresh mozzarella, San Marzano tomatoes and fresh basil. I have also ordered other pizzas that were delicious as well, like their white and vegetable pizza. When ordering food for delivery I am always told that the wait is 45 minutes. sometimes it’s faster and sometimes it’s around 45 minutes. If you’re starving and place an order for delivery, you better have a snack in the meantime.

T. and I had lunch around noon in this restaurant. This kid-friendly place was one third full of customers. This store offers catering, to-go orders and deliveries in the Plainsboro area. They have gluten-free pasta, etc. The service was friendly and efficient. The staff is Spanish– and English– speaking. We ate chicken and mushroom pizza slices, the vegetable pizza slice in addition to the broccoli and cheese pizza slice. The crust was average. It was crunchy, but lacked moisture and softness. The vegetable pizza slice was my favorite one. T. preferred the broccoli and cheese pizza slice. It was easy to park on their private parking lot. Our favorite pizza place in this area is still ‘Slice between’ in Princeton, NJ.

Ok service. As per other fellow Unilocalers the garlic knots were delicious. Was not a fan at all for the chicken parm I ordered. No canned soda, bottled or from machine. Cute outside sitting! Great option of BYOB

We ate in the restaurant and really everything was just great! After we came in the dining room really filled up, unusual for a Monday evening. We had pasta specials(linguini puttanesca and fettucini gypsy) preceded by appetizers of chicken escarole soup and salad. So much food! It was so good I managed to finish mine, but it was so delicious and filling! Very good service and a good value too. You get music with dinner which may or may not be your thing, and there’s tables outside too if you want to try that. It’s byob if you want to bring in wine or beer. Try it!

Romeo’s has a pretty solid central jerz pizza. It is all in the crust I say and Romeo’s crust is crusty yet soft with a nice sweep of olive oil. We had the White Romeo Special pie which came with gobs of ricotta(yum) broccoli, sun-dried tomatoes and spinach. It was oddly the perfect combination of cheese and veggies. I really enjoyed my two slices for dinner and they heat up real good the next day in the toaster oven. We also shared Saporito salad which consisted of romaine, fresh mozz, roasted peppers chick and tomatoes. I was super surprised this only set us back $ 28. There were huge chunks of fresh cheese and grilled chicken. And the pizza was huge and covered in toppings. Great value!

Oh hell YEAH I’ve been going to Romeos for many many moon-hit-your-eye nights(see what I did there) and I’ve only ever been super pleased with the scrumptious anything I’ve ordered. But in particular… The Brooklyn pie is SO good. It’s square shaped, thin crust, covered with fresh San Marzanos and fresh basil and fresh mozzarella and fresh hot love. Ew I just grossed myself out at the end there. Garlic knots! I mean… you can’t go wrong with dough dipped in oil rolled in garlic and herbs right? The vodka rigatoni is also pretty fantastic. I don’t order it because I just can’t fathom paying $ 12 for like a quarter of a box of pasta and some sauce but when my sister gets it I eat it(secretly in the light of the fridge in the dark of night so she can’t yell at me) and it tastes really good. That’s it except everyone there is just so sweet to me every time I go! Like I feel like if I asked them for a hug they would be almost okay with it.

Seems like this is family owned place. I don’t speak any Italian but I was pretty entertained by their family dynamic. We ordered and paid at the counter then sat in one of their cozy booths. I ordered The New Yorker Panini. I had then fry the onion instead of raw. The panini was so big I could only eat half. The Russian dressing was tasty. I definitely enjoyed the panini. Next time I go back I want to try the pizza it smelled really delicious.

I want to start by saying the people who work here are super nice. It is not their fault Plainsboro Plaza has fallen into overwhelmingly vacant/creepy doom. As for the pizza, I feel as though it’s okay, but to be honest, I prefer Aljon’s and Brother’s in WWP. They do make a pretty good vodka rigatoni pie for those days you want to have carbs with a topping of carbs. Plain slices seem to lack a snap — I like a little more flavor to my sauce and cheese and a slightly thinner crust. They have outdoor seating which is a nice effort. However, see«vacant/creepy» note regarding the whole shopping center above.

My workplace sometimes orders food from Romeo’s every now and then and I’ve been disappointed. The subs and wraps are really sub-par. The eggplant sub I ordered had granules of what I think was dirt(you know that all too familiar crunch when you accidentally eat something with sand or something in it?) and the buffalo chicken wrap had chicken and sauce and… that’s it. No veggies? Not even lettuce or tomato? Or cheese? The chicken was on the dry side and definitely not worth the $ 8.25 you pay. Maybe their pizza is better, who knows. But everything I’ve tried so far has been really disappointing.
