We were staying at the hotel and ordered a medium rare South Shore burger. And I understand I ordered a medium rare burger but when I received a burger and but into it the person who cooked it didn’t even remove the wax paper the rare burgers come in. And it wasn’t even a small piece but a large one. God forbid someone chokes on it. I understand this is a hotel and not a resturant but really how can ypu forget to remove the wax paper the burger is wrapped in. Once I brought it to their attention they ased if they could make me another burger which I accepted(because I was starving) which to their defence they tool off the bill and it turned out to be a good burger.

Yes it’s small, yes the menu is short, and yes the hours are limited, but if you’re looking for convenience and your schedule meshes with their availability, you won’t go wrong here. First of all, be aware that the hours definitely are limited — they’re open M-F from 6:30AM — 10:00AM, Saturday & Sunday from 7:00AM — 11:00AM, and every day from 5:00PM — 11:00PM. In other words they’re open for breakfast, dinner and late night. The Café is located right in the hotel lobby –to the left of the registation desk. It consists of a smallish bar and a smallish dining area. We had a late breakfast — a very reasonable continental breakfast of coffee, fruit, and bread choices(the croissants were great) for $ 7 bucks or so. No complaints at all. We also hung out in the bar that night, and enjoyed ourselves immensely. Just be aware that it’s a small space so it can get crowded pretty fast at night.

I ordered a burger here and couldn’t eat it as one side was completely charred. Aside from that, there is really nothing more to say about this place. The staff were friendly, but I wish the food had been better.
