I was craving a hot dog and so I found this little gem. The hot dog was huge! It was grilled and so was the bun. I got mine with sauerkraut nacho cheese and mustard … It sounds weird but a winning combo ! The sauerkraut was homemade and had bacon in it yum! I also order the potato chips which are also homemade and fries upon ordering. They have all sorts toppings for the hot dogs, it you like grilled hot dogs with creative topping this place is a must! They make all sorts of crazy hot dog combos that aren’t listed on the menu so make sure to ask!

Great food truck. Owner operator who obviously takes pride in producing fresh quality food. Since discovering this truck last week I have been by 4 times I think. It is a great stop at lunch as it is faster than any of the surrounding restaurants(even the fast food joints). If you order something with a chicken cutlet he hand makes it for you to order. The hand-cut fresh fries come in a huge order(so order one to share) and make sure you ask for his aoili as a dipping sauce, its addictive. The menu is a good size for a food truck and could probably please a varied group. I have not tried his vegetarian options but I noticed(I always do because I have multiple veg friends/co-workers) that there are 4 – 5 vegetarian choices. He is also open at night for dinner and with his location being directly across from Praline’s you could have dinner and dessert, supporting two local businesses.

Joint # 72: LITTLEREDGRILLE, Plainville, CT. Little Red Grille is a gorgeous, brand-new food trailer parked on New Britain Ave in Plainville. The owner was a very nice gentleman who greeted us with a smile and treated us right. The Little Red Grille serves 10 inch long dogs made by Martin Rosol’s, Inc., which is a quality frank if we do say so ourselves. RATING(S):… J. Diggity Dog: 8.5÷10, Dog Man Sac: 8⁄10. J. Diggity said, «Martin Rosol’s dog, flat griddle, buttered up split-top bun, grilled lightly and it was pretty good man. It didn’t have a lot of chili on it, but the chili had great flavor to it… it was sweeter, not so much hot. I enjoyed the dog. I had a good experience with this dog and I’m going with an 8 and a half here at the Little Red Grille and the owner of the place is Jeff(Parzan?), so come down and see Jeff on Rt. 72 in Plainville.» Dog Man Sac said, «Jeff also mentioned that he is from New York, New York City in fact, so he has been in the restaurant business for a long time. Little Red Grille, the truck itself, is spotless, it is brand new, it is beautiful. They also offer an array of seafood items, which most of these small vending trucks do not. Back to the dog, we’re talking about a 10 inch Martin Rosol’s, natural casing(I got confirmation on that), done on the griddle, probably a little more than I would have done it, but it was done. It had a little char to it. Also had the New England Style bun. That was a buttered bun. Bun held everything perfectly. So props to that. Chili was on the bottom, so the dog sat on top of the bed of chili. And then on top of that was the mustard and the onion. Flavors were ‘dec’(decent). I’m going with an 8.0 — that’s a Dog Man Sac 8 for Little Red Grille.»
