Jasper’s is always the«go-to» spot for causal upscale dining. The private dining experience was nice. During my last visit, I celebrated a milestone birthday, and the service was wonderful. The bourbon corn is one of my faves! You can’t go wrong with visiting any of the places at Shops of Legacy. #SouthernGourmet

Really enjoyed excellent food, drinks and atmosphere. As good as it was this was all eclipsed by truly excellent, caring, honest service. Ended the night with 2 servers at the curb handing me my lost pocketbook. High praise and thanks for this establishment!

Jasper’s never falls short of great fresh food and suburb service. Rachelle our server was absolutely amazing and accommodating. We ordered prime rib, great; baby back ribs, excellent; scallop/shrimp with black rice, amazing. Of course the sides(spinach, Mac n cheese and corn) exceptional. I could do a commercial for this place!

For lunch today I decided to do all appetizers: the Texas Crab Cakes and the TUNA+Two. Tuna two ways was simply amazing: it’s served up like«sushi» with chopsticks plus soy plus wasabi and pickled ginger but the best way to eat them(you’ve got to try it) is to spoon the chopped up tuna that’s in the tortilla cup over a slice of the tuna and eat it in one bite. Yum! The Crab Cakes were perfect: that green avocado sauce is the perfect accompaniment. Sat at the bar and the bar tender was attentive without being chatty: nice touch.

Went here to give a talk on rib fractures. Just eating the food in my room but it’s still awesome 1.5 hrs later. Ambiance there is great — beer selection is just ok and the only non 5 star thing. Wait staff are super friendly and remember your name. I had the filet — awesome! One of the best I’ve ever had. Potatoes are ok but I’m not a huge potato guy. Crab cake is ok too — a bit spicy. Cheese cake is real tasty. Summary: this place is awesome. Cool place, people and food.

The service here is outstanding! Came here after church with my family for brunch, there was live jazz music playing as we enjoyed some amazing food. I ordered the Crab Benedict and oh boy I highly recommend you order this! It was so delish! My mom ordered the truffle Gouda omelet which I was a huge fan of as well!

It’s been a while since I last went to Jasper’s but decided to hop in for drinks and apps with some friends. I didn’t really enjoy the cocktails– mule was lacking that desired crisp taste while the old fashioned had way too much orange going on. The apps however were delicious. I had the crab cakes which are phenomenal! The«cakes» themselves were really perfectly prepared portions of crab atop an amazing poblano purée. Not to be outdone, the mac-n-cheese was perfectly executed as well. And all of this was paired with friendly, attentive service. I’ll certainly go back soon.

Their lunch is really good here and wish they had their prime rib sandwich every day of the week. They have a great wedge salad too. Probably some of the best customer service in town making everyone feel like a VIP. Great place to have a business lunch.

Went to Jaspers when our daughters came to town. Excellent food. We were especially happy that our vegetarian daughter found the menu choices good. Tuna X two and the Maytag Potato chips. Tuna was great, if you love Maytag and chips, they are great too. I had the Prime Rib and it was perfectly cooked. My husband had the special that evening which was a Lamb Shank. Daughter #1 had the Hickory Grilled Flat Iron Steak and Daughter #2 had the fish special. We were all very happy with our meals. I definitely recommend Jasper’s and we will definitely be back.

Pleasant atmosphere good food and service. Nothing spectacular but definitely a solid meal. The blue cheese potato chips are good but I would not go out of my way for them. Good mix with the grilled peppers. Prime Rib was very good and folks seemed happy with the grilled pork and filet. Cocktails are also good but wine list is meh. At least not ridiculously priced like most steak houses. Perfectly good place for a business dinner but not a «special occasion» destination. A three rating is too low; 3.5 would be spot on.

On the positive side, the service was great. Everyone was so nice that I couldn’t bring myself to tell them that the food was disappointing. Bleu Cheese Chips were the best part of the meal. I love cheese so these were great while they were hot. I ordered the prime rib and my husband ordered the baby back ribs. Both were suggested by our server as dishes the restaurant is famous for, and the menu even specifies the awards received. I only had one bite of the ribs, so I won’t comment there. The prime rib… I ordered this«between medium and medium rare, closers to medium». It depends on where they cut the roast so it’s not as exact. He said he would request medium rare plus. This came out rare. Very rare. Not just that it looked raw, but that it was still a little cold and the fat wasn’t softening like it should. The outer edge was extremely salty, but the rest was bland. I’ve had better prime rib at an Outback Steakhouse for half the price. So disappointed because I was really in the mindset of «award winning prime rib». To top it off, the baked potato was tiny, not very loaded for«fully loaded», and undercooked. It’s fine to have okay food, but not when you advertise as award winning. The fact that I could have better for half the price at a national chain — it wasn’t busy so why the sloppy work? These are supposed to be signature dishes! I considered giving it another chance but there are too many really great restaurants in this area to spend that much again when their best was so mediocre.

We have always loved Jasper’s, as we met there and were engaged there. I had the 4 oz filet and sesame crusted tuna with a Caesar salad, which was yummy. The steak was a bit salty for my taste, hiding the delicious flavor of the meat. My husband had the filet with mashed potatoes, which he thought was good. Our server, Chris, was fantastic! I will not get the filet next time, as I don’t think it is their specialty. I have had the scallops in the past, and they were seared to perfection.

These guys run a tight ship and try to take care of ALL of their customers. Feedback is warmly welcomed and course correction isn’t something they are afraid of during your dinning experience. FOOD = 5 Stars SERVICE = 5 Stars Whiskey Selection = 5 Stars This is the Dallas equivalent of Eddie V’s in Austin, TX. If you know that, then try this!

First things first is the food is AMAZING! Some of the most flavorful food I’ve ate in a while. We got a couple Moscow mules and they were also pretty tasty. Only reason I’m giving this place 4 stars is because our server was slow and awkward and our food took a long time to get to us. But it was worth the wait for sure. Dining Date: 2÷19÷16

My mind was blown away by the food here. I normally don’t care for lamb but wow was it delicious and perfect and juicy and omg I want more right now. The service was also amazing seeing that we had a huge group of 10+ for a birthday party and yet we only had one waiter that took care of us throughly! Also try the blackberry cocktail… Which was awesome!!!

Came here late on a Friday @ around 9 .m. with a party of 8 for a birthday celebration. We had a table reserved and were seated right away when everyone showed up. The ambiance is inviting and comfortable and the initial service is welcoming, although the wait staff could give more attention to the diners, especially to see if they need water, additional drinks, enjoying the meal, etc. My main disappointment were the drinks that were offered on the menu. If you are looking for a sweet drink, you better ask the waiter/waitress to have one made for you since the drinks on the menu are real bitter. Our waitress –Cheryl — had to make a special $ 12 cocktail called the Backyard which was better than what was offered to me initially, the $ 10 Big Daddy. I ordered the $ 34 Lamb Shank, and wife got the $ 34 Gnocchi + 3 grilled shrimp. These were brought to the table without much waiting. The Lamb Shank was a little dark visually and looked like it had been overcooked/burned. This was confirmed when I tasted it. It seems to have sat on the fire a little too long to the point that it was charred at the top. However, the un-charred part was really tasty and I know for sure if it was not overcooked, it would have been a mouth-watering meal. Wife liked her Gnocchi and didn’t complain. Our waitress was a little busy with a couple of other tables and just came to check on our table a couple of times but did not ask how the food tasted. I however let her know without being seen as complaining that my lamb was over-cooked, but didn’t get any feedback. We finished our meals, got our checks and left. Overall, I think some of the meals are overpriced for the portions served compared to other similar restaurants and the service can be improved by having the wait staff check regularly with the guests to see how they are doing and if they need anything.

Definitely recommend this place for Sunday brunch! I mean. It’s not phenomenal or over the top delicious but it’s great for what it is! I loved the steak and eggs but the biscuit under the eggs was a little heavy. The Thai mussels were super fresh with just the right amount of spice. My dad ordered the Mahi Mahi and needed a magnifying glass to find it– nonetheless he said the sauce was unique and delicious. Fried chicken, brisket burger, prime rib hash, and crab cake Benedict were all just as good. The restaurant has live soft jazz, dim lighting, and a relaxed vibe. The place isn’t too noisy and the manager(I assume) walks around and checks on all the tables. The service is okay compared to the food and environment but I don’t have any complaints. We had a party of 6 and was seated within 5 minutes. Can’t wait to come back and try the other entrees/cocktails!

My sister came to visit. We wanted to get brunch. There weren’t many options for Saturday around Plano so we came here. We shared the Prime Rib Hash, Crab Cake Benedict, Chili-Lime Biscuits and Gravy, and the Pecan Waffles. Everything tasted great. The Crab Cake Benedict was good. Instead of an English muffin, they used a potato cake. I hate the taste of eggs but I couldn’t stop eating it. I don’t normally get anything sweet for brunch but the Pecan Waffles were good. It was much better than I expected and not too sweet. The Chili-Lime biscuits and gravy were good but I’m not sure if I would order it next time. I think the biscuits were a bit dry for me. I would try a different side next time. The Prime Rib Hash was enjoyable. There was a great mix of ingredients. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. The ambiance was nice but the music was just a tad too loud. I’ll probably take visitors here for brunch.

I love this restaurant. It’s the perfect place for a business lunch or a dinner date. This last time we got there a little early to grab a drink at the bar. The bartenders were friendly and quick. On a Friday night at 8pm the bar wasn’t terribly packed. We were able to get two seats at the bar with no problem. The restaurant itself was about ¾ full. We were sat near the middle closer to the windows. I love that the tables are spaced out enough so you don’t feel like you’re in the conversation of the table next to you. Service is wonderful. Our waiter had such a great personality and paced out the meal perfectly so that we didn’t feel rushed but plates weren’t left standing too long. To start we ordered the maytag chips and shishito peppers. The maytag chips were great. Salty with a light blue cheese flavor to them. The shishito peppers were amazing. Lightly burned which is exactly the way I like them. For dinner I ordered the scallops and shrimp. It was amazing! The flavor was lightly sweet. My only complaint was it came with a bit more rice than I would have liked. The picture I took doesn’t really do it justice. There was about a cup and a half of rice which is a little more than my liking. The two shrimp weren’t huge. I wish it had a bit more shrimp to it. My boyfriend got the ribs which were amazing! I had orderers recourse after trying his. The meat was so tender it practically fell off the bone. Overall this is a great place. I love coming here. You definitely won’t be let down with whatever you order.

The service was incredible and everyone was so nice and informative. The Maytag Blue cheese chips would be part of my final meal if I was on Death Row… I love their attitude towards melted blue cheese layered throughout the chips. I had the ribs and Mac n Cheese and my wife had the Prime Rib. The ribs fell off the bone and the Mac n Cheese was Magical… I swear I saw a Unicorn and heard Harps play after my first bite. Try the Lavender Ice Tea. I’m still thinking about how I can get that by the gallon.
