A birthday party here for a friend — service was good. Parking was easy in the nearby parking deck. The sushi was fine but a bit overpriced for the quality. The Chicken Katsu was a very large portion with good flavor. If you want a hip place with merely OK food that is slightly overpriced this is your place. If you want top quality sushi head to Sushi Sake.

Worst service I have ever seen in my life. Came in to drink some drinks and eat some sushi. Bartenders were horrible. The drinks we ordered were water down. The two girls that were bartending on the night of 01÷12÷16 were the worst. Two tall brunettes. They looked over at us and giggled and shook their heads. Will never come back. Food was ok.

I ordered rolls from here about 2 hours ago for delivery through grub hub. The order JUST arrived. I attempted to contact the restaurant to check on the status of my order and ended up disconnecting the call after being on hold for 15 minutes! I contacted grub hub who was as helpful as they could be. The rep said that he’d contact the restaurant and find out where the driver is. 20 minutes later, grub hub called me back to say that they were unable to reach anyone and we’re on hold for 15 minutes as well. All I ordered was rolls. Fish wrapped in rice. 2 hours? The place is 3 miles away. I am very disappointed and can assure you that I will not be ordering from this establishment again. I haven’t even tried the food but it was already overpriced and having to wait so long added insult to injury. At this rate, I don’t care if they are the best rolls I’ve ever eaten. If you think you’ll be craving sushi 2 hours from now, knock yourself out. If you’re hungry now, PASS on this place!

Usually I love this place. The sushi has always been fresh and delicious. Unfortunately, I’m not sure if they have undergone a management change because the quality of their fish has gone down. We went and I ordered the tuna sushi and a tuna hand roll. When it arrived the tuna wasn’t red, but pink with these disgusting looking veins in it. I tried a piece and wasn’t impressed by the flavor or consistency. When I asked the waitress why the tuna had veins in it she told me «tuna always has veins», which simply isn’t true. After losing my appetite and getting our bill, the manager came over and tried to explain that they just cut the fish the day before, and the veins happen when it is fresh, which also simply isn’t true. It felt very much like they assumed I knew nothing about sushi simply because I was being nice about it. They took the dishes off the bill, and gave us a coupon but the bill was still large and the food was absolutely appalling. And the worst part was that two people who worked there lied to us TWICE to try and save face for their low quality fish and possible inexperienced sushi chef.

I called Naan Sushi for price on shrimp tempura sushi rolls. The staff had to put me on hold to find out price. I then asked how many Pieces are in the roll. The staff had no clue and put me on hold again. She came back and said 8 pieces in the shrimp tempura roll. I went to pick my food up. The staff did not greet me. I went to the bar and the lady was rude. She did not say hi or acknowledge me. I was the only one in the restaurant. What was more important than your paying customer. I received my food and I was very disappointed. The roll was 5 pieces instead of 8. They put so much rice in the rolls you could not see or taste the shrimp. These rolls where $ 7.95 a roll. That was a waste of my money. I would never come here again.

Co workers wanted sushi, don’t ask me why when we’re in Texas Steak/BBQ capital of the US. Anyway payed over 85 dollars for small pieces of uncooked tasteless fish. Not the best sushi I’ve had our service was good though. But I got a bad allergic reaction to the food.

I got 4 different rolls to share with my friend and they were wonderful! Not the best sushi I’ve ever had but still very good! Our waiter was super nice and informative and made us really good drinks like the Poma Rita!

If you want 4 chips with a tiny, tiny bit of tuna for the price of an entrée, during happy hour even, this place is just for you! This is simply not good. Everything reeks overpriced nothingness. Too bad, I was REALLY looking for a quality sushi place at the Shops at Legacy. Literally Tom Thumb has better grade sushi :/

I took a client of mine for happy hour so we sat at the bar. I actually ended up knowing one of the bartenders so that helped the overall experience a lot! We started with Calamari from the Happy Hour menu which was small, but decent. It wasn’t served with a lemon which was strange. After that, we moved to the Spider Roll on the HH menu which was nothing to write home about. After Happy Hour ended, we ordered the Filet Mignon roll and the Shrimp Bomb from the appetizers menu. Both were good but extremely different in flavor. Both dishes are served in bite size spoons. The filet roll had an overwhelming ginger flavor. The shrimp bomb was light and fresh… it tasted like summer. Overall, it was a fun time but I think the portions could be a little better for the price.

Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever had in my life!!! The waitress/bartender was in no way attentive to our needs. How do I start… First off she cut me off in the middle of a conversation over a drink they apparently did not have. Then brought water and never refilled it. Didn’t even check back to see if everything was okay when our food came out. As a matter of fact an hour long meal suddenly turned into a 2 hour waiting game ANDSHEWASNTEVENBUSY!!! Needless to say she certainly got a tip she very much earned. I guess it wasn’t enough for her because she ran out of the restaurant threw the receipt and gave us the middle finger and proceeded the yell profanities! WHODOESTHIS??? Last I checked we waitresses/waiters are suppose to do our job in order to earn a 20% tip. Oh And don’t bother going to the manager! He just looks at you like you’re from another planet. Even while his employee acts like a mental case with a potty mouth INSIDETHERESTAURANTINFRONTOFOTHERCUSTOMERS! The food wasn’t worth the price paid! This place is expensive! Not that money is really an issue… But if your going to pay a large price for sushi make sure it’s not on stolen from Kroger first! We will never be going back to this business EVERAGAIN and neither will anyone else once the word of mouth gets out. This place only gets 1 star because I’m forced to in order to post this review!(Sigh) guess that can go towards the lighting! At least it wasn’t to bright inside. Pun intended!(;-I) To Naan… If you hire trash you’ll become trash! Can’t wait till your business goes under and a REAL sushi restaurant with morals and ethics takes your place!

Pricey for below average food. Really nothing special here. There’s a late night happy hour(half price rolls) that starts at 10pm. Move on, keep walking… there are plenty of other establishments that provide a better experience.

Not really sure what is up with the negative reviews about this place, we came in Friday night and not only did we have an amazing server, but the manager stopped several times to ask us how we were doing and if everything had come alright. The boyfriend and I ended up ordering a couple of rolls and despite not being the biggest fan of one of their specialty rolls, their«normal» rolls were delicious and fresh. For the location Naan is located in, the prices don’t seem all that far off. I’m a fan of Naan and we’ll probably be back.

Thursday karaōke and late night happy hour! This place is great but has had its ups and downs due to change of ownership. High quality sushi and great staff makes this one of the best sushi places in dallas. If there was a new Unilocal page for every chance of ownership this place I believe would at least have a 4 star rating.

Terrible attitude and mediocre food at a bad price point. I came here with 3 coworkers after work to get some takeout sushi because we were all tired and wanted to get home quickly. The guy who served us acted as if takeout was a foreign concept, he handed the four of us one menu and asked us what we wanted 2 seconds later. We had to ask for more menus and more time. The prices are also too high for the quality of fish. At this point I already wasn’t thinking too highly of this place. I ordered 2pc of tuna nigiri, $ 8. Turns out they couldn’t even get that right, they gave me a tuna roll instead. The guy who took our orders offered us water while we waited, which was the one nice part of my experience with Naan Sushi. However, he was also talking shit about his competitors while chatting with one of my co-workers. He loudly disparaged nearby Ra Sushi, where I had eaten a few days earlier, as pandering to «people in their 20’s» with low expectations, while he claimed that Naan Sushi was aimed at «people over 35 with more discriminating tastes.» I found this supremely bizarre because the four of us are clearly in our 20’s — maybe he was trying to flatter us by saying we had better taste than the rest of our age group? If it was an attempt at flattery, it felt completely flat. I’m from LA and I know good sushi, but I’d rather go to Ra Sushi and have Americanized rolls instead of being served overpriced fish with a side of pretension at Naan.

My wife and I have been coming here for a few years now. I rated this place 5⁄5 and would argue it could go head to head with any sushi spot in DFW. The sushi was always fresh and delicious, the service tremendous, and the price was reasonable. We recently moved and haven’t been to Na’an in about half a year. However we were meeting up with friends for a movie nearby and decided to duck in for a quick dinner. We walked in and the place was all but empty– very different from prior experiences. It was only 5p though so we figured it was because it was still a little early for dinner. We sat at the sushi bar and started ordering from the sushi master. After several minutes we asked him if we had a server since we hadn’t received water or asked our drink order or even been acknowledged by anyone but the hostess and the chef despite a dozen employees walking by us. Long story short, the service was some of the worst I’ve had in the past decade. This place has in fact gone down hill fast and besides the sushi being good there’s sadly little hope for it to recover. Ra is on the north side of Legacy and Kona Grill is 2 miles south plus there are a couple hole-in-the-wall authentic places nearby so you may as well go somewhere else. Hell, Kroger is a better experience now…

Place was empty(a six top and a girl at the bar) stopped the manager at 20 minutes after ordering asking about soup and salad… 10 minutes later we just asked for our check for the saki. This place needs some serious help!
