This place is a great find. Great food at a great price. I love places where I can get home cooked style meals and this place hit the spot. I will definitely be returning soon.

The place has new owners. They seem really nice and really cared. All I want is a reasonably priced home cooking place where I can get a decent meal with some veggies. They definitely delivered today. Catfish special was good, mashed potatoes were great. Changes are coming. I hope they keep the salad bar and the daily specials. I really hope this place makes the right decisions.

Have eaten here several times on weekends. Breakfast is always on point. Service is ok.

My fiancé and I are always looking for a great breakfast joint to go to on our lazy Sundays. This place ALWAYS hits the spot, lol. We like it because it is super casual, staff is friendly, service is quick, food is hot and fresh and inexpensive as well. Our favorite menu items are the steak omelette and the breakfast burrito. Come hungry because the portions are quite big.

It’s an ok place. Went there on the recommendation of my niece. Tasty food served hot. Hot coffee. Great price for what is served. Only one thing wrong and it’s the most important in my opinion. If a cook can’t make eggs over easy the right way, he’s not a good cook. I was served over easy eggs which I ordered and the yolks were solid as a rock. So in other words fried eggs. I’m not one to send things back cause when I go to a place to spend good money on food. I’m hungry and don’t like to wait endlessly for recooking an item cause everything else gets cold and unappetizing. So most likely won’t be going back. Bad first impression!

It’s been here for years. They will make your BLT with turkey bacon and wheat bread if you want, and the fries are steak fries and yummy. It’s cheap. It’s fast. It’s diner food but it’s not wallowing in grease on your plate either. They know what’s in their food so that’s good for my son’s food allergies. I like it for lunch, or a late breakfast but we don’t live there, so we go infrequently. It has a steady stream of customers. Right next to the Schlotzsky’s on the NW corner of 14th/Jupiter. Only open for breakfast and lunch.

Good solid diner, they make my bacon waffles with no complaints, the service is indeed service and the food is fresh and hot — at least as far as waffles go. There is apparently a lunch as well, but I have never tried it. Not open for dinner.

Went to eat and never got a menu or acknowledged. We asked the waitress for a menu after sitting there for 5 min. She then ignored us and took care if other ppl that came in after them. We will never go back after getting ignored for 30 min. The décor was very outdated, and even all the customers gave us dirty looks as we came in.

This place has managed to be the worst place I’ve ever sat foot in restaurant wise. We get there Sunday morning. It isn’t that full at all(MAYBE halfway). There’s no sign at the door stating whether to seat yourself or wait and there’s no one at the hostess stand. After being stared at by the waitstaff for several minutes(approx 3 – 4 mins), finally one of them says, «Sit wherever you like.» We sat down at a booth. We watched as two other groups went through the same process as us. To our disliking, the couple that came in AFTER us, sat down in a booth and a waitress immediately went over and handed them menus. Keep in mind, we were already sitting at our booth for a good 5 mins and the waitress who had instructed us to «sit wherever we like,» walked straight past us to go serve them. When she walked back past us, I asked, «Can we have some menus?» She said, «sure» and proceeded to the counter. At the counter she worked on a to-go order. Meanwhile, tons of other waitstaff walked right past us either grinning or giving dirty looks. We then watch her immediately walk RIGHTPASTUSAGAIN only to bring the drink order to that second couple. She then walks PASTUSAGAIN, to go back to the counter. Never once acknowledging us nor bringing us menus. The manager was there, but he seemed to care less what was gong on as well. Would love to talk about food quality, but we couldn’t even get a menu. Seems to be mainly a restaurant for«regulars» as there was plenty to yelling across to room to other tables between customers. We did get quite a few«looks» when we first walked in(not that we look weird or wearing anything funky). The regulars seem happy, but they don’t seem interested in making any NEW regulars. We will never bother with this place again.

My family and I go out every Saturday for breakfast, and The Pancake House and Grill is the place we frequent the most. The décor isn’t great(not dirty, just plain). However, everything else about this place is wonderful! Wait staff is attentive and pleasant. Food is great(I always get the Supreme Omelette) and you simply cannot beat the price! We are one of many groups of regulars that show up every Saturday. Breakfast food is without a doubt my favorite type of eats, and The Pancake House and Grill is one of my favorite places to enjoy breakfast! Highly recommend!

A good basic diner, nothing more, nothing less: stopped here for breakfast, had The Twos: basically two of everything(eggs, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns and pancakes) for $ 7.00. Not too greasy and went down with ease. Iced Tea was watered down or flavorless though. This place is not on Jupiter, it is nearby on the 14th street crossroad(northwest corner, deep into the stripmall). Come on by if you need the basics for food.

You wake up on a weekend with a voracious appetite that only some eggs and a stack of pancakes will satisfy. Where can you go that won’t be crowded? That is a dilemma faced by many of you Unilocalers time and time again. You know what a crapshoot the whole process can be. If you choose unwisely or miss a time window by even 5 minutes, you might indeed find yourself in waiting room hell. However, this does not appear to be as big an issue at Plano’s Pancake House & Grill. Please don’t accept that fact as a ringing endorsement, however. This plain little eatery was quick on the seating and service aspects but the grub was merely on the satisfactory side. In fact, this review is tough in that I can’t actually fault anything about the fare but I can’t provide a single detail that stood out, either. I can’t help but think of current Rangers catcher Matt Treanor in this situation. He has spent most of his career in the minors or as a backup on a variety of major league squads. When everyday players get injured, he is capable of filling in for awhile. There is a need for players like that. Plano Pancake House & Grill is quite similar. In a pinch, when you are starving and need a quick and competent meal, it fits the role nicely, Unfortunately, on most days, I would rather seek out a real major league breakfast(Cindy’s, Bread Winner’s etc).
