Popeyes Chicken

Sadly (because I really like Popeyes), this place, failed to meet my expectations like the location on 15^th street. That location used to get 5 stars from me. After the other location started serving a wing and leg, or a wing and a thigh, for their mixed meal, I thought I’d switch here for my chicken fix. Wrong! The photo on the menu clearly shows it’s a breast with the 2 piece meal but I received a wing and thigh. I contacted corporate to find out the policy and it is up to the restaurant. I used to eat Popeyes weekly, but I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. It feels like bait and switch to me. If you are willing to pay $ 7 for wings, legs and thighs, then this chain is the place for you.

Well, I don’t know that I can contribute anything more than the people before me have already stated. They’re absolutely right, too! This is one of the worst Popeyes locations that I’ve ever been to.
Customer service is nonexistent. Chicken wasn’t cooked all the way through. Red beans and rice has a weird flavor unlike any other Popeyes that I’ve been to. Tables are always dirty because they never have enough people working.
This really sucks because I love Popeyes Chicken and this one is really close to my work. However, I can’t bring myself to go back — at least not until the do an overhaul of the entire store. New employees, renovation, deep cleaning, etc. Total overhaul.

I normally love Popeyes but this place is horrible. The food just taste all wrong. Will NOT be going back!

I love Popeyes. I was introduced by my good friends from Louisiana. But this location is horrible. The staff always lacks in service. You could be the only one in line waiting for your food and the always ask you to park in front as soon as they take your money. The last couple of times we have frequented this location the chicken was cold and dry, and the biscuits were the same. It’s too bad bc I love Popeyes fried chicken over any other fried chicken restaurant around my area.
What happened to the days of good service and good food?
Popeyes is great but this location is horrible. I have tried contacting the corporate headquarters, but I’ve yet to hear from them. No sweat. Plenty of other places that want my money.

The worst Popeyes location ever! They told me many times that they out of legs and takes 20 mins to make it. They suppose to be fast food restaurant. 20 mins, really?! No, thanks!

been here a couple of times and the service can get better, they need to setp it up some, got like 4 different chicken spots at this intersection, sucks cause popeyes is a good chicken joint compared to some other ones at this corner

This locations sucks. Can’t even begin to tell you how may times they have screwed up our order, how slow they are and how they could care less. Hate them!!!

I haven’t been to Popeyes on 14^th Street in over 8 years and now I remember why! I stopped to get the Cajun Surf & Turf for 4.99, 2-​handcrafted chicken tenders and 4 Butterfly Shrimp, reg. fries, biscuit and 2 Signature Dipping Sauces.
1^st — got home opened box and NO Dipping Sauces
2^nd — Shrimp were tiny and tasted like old shrimp.
3^rd — One chicken tender was good but the other one was dried out, tough and
couldn’t even cut it with a fork.
So I have made a mental note — Never to stop there again!

Can’t really complain since I chose to eat cheap food. The reason I came here was to have their biscuits and fried chicken. The website has a coupon for a 5pc mix for $ 8. The last time I had popeye’s I got sick from bad oil. That was about 4 years ago and since then I’ve never touched their food. Until this year I thought I should give them another try hoping I won’t get sick.
I got my order and was quiet surprised because the chicken pieces were small. I had to ask the worker if this was really what I ordered. He said yes so I took his word and went with my food. The meal deal comes with two biscuits and two regular sides. I picked mashed potato and cole slaw. Mashed potato had their signature cajun seasoning which is why I came here. Cole slaw wasn’t too good but I finished it lol. I had leftover chicken the next day and it wasn’t too bad, not too greasy… kinda like pizza. As of now I am not sick nor do I feel sick, crossing my fingers hoping I won’t get sick because I did enjoy my cheap chicken.
Popeye’s has a daily special for $ 4. You get chicken, side, biscuit, and drink. Good deal if you’re on a budget but I wouldn’t come here everyday. bad for the health…

WORST SERVICE EVER! The staff working today clearly doesn’t give a damn. No one is acknowledging counter customers. The drive through line is stacked up. They seem to be working, but at their own pace. The teenage kid who seems to be running the place appears to be useless. I got tired of standing there and left. I needed to warm up since the heat was TURNED OFF. Both heat controllers are mounted by the front door and are OFF, but the ceiling fans are going on HIGH. IT’S 53 DEGREES IN THE DINING ROOM according to the heat control unit display.
I would rate them at No stars if I could.

Horrible service. There were three of us in line. two left. I stuck around because I was really really hungry. The lady behind the counter didnt acknowledge the people in line and everyone else «behind the counter» (management included) weren’t paying attention to the people at the counter either (you should at the very least. acknowledge them). 2 people in front of me cursed at a whispers level and just left. I stuck around because i figured going elsewhere would just take longer. as I continued to wait. at least 15 minutes. the lady behind the counter kept running food out to waiting cars. To make matters worse. They spoke to each other in Spanish. again without even acknowledging the people waiting at the counter.
I love Popeyes. I’m from Louisiana and there are far too few Popeyes around. That said. There’s no way in heck im ever coming to this place again. I’ve been coming here off an on for about 10 years. to be truthful, I’ve never had this bad of service here before. but that doesnt mean I’m going to subject myself to this again.

Decent chicken. Good service.

Cheap chicken on Tuesday. Decent Madi Gras Cheesecake. Good biscuits and good red beans and rice for fast food. Look over the calorie intake and enjoy this with some malt liquor.

In a word horrible! Ordered three piece white meat. Got three very greasy thighs. Won’t be back.
