Nice cute little place to pick up some burgers. Husband had the Western Burger along with a vanilla milkshake and I had the Hawaiian Burger and an order of the Clam Strips & Fries. They were tasty. Definitely not the best burgers I’ve ever had but they weren’t bad. The service was good and quick. It’s really more of a pick up and take out place. They have a small outdoor area that consists of 2 picnic tables with umbrellas. We sat out at one of these. It’s a happening place though.

Maybe not the healthiest but the burgers are pretty darn good. I had the double cheese burger which was deliciously messy. My wife loved the lightly crispy fries and homemade tartar sauce.

On the Peninsula for a vacation, we happened to drive by Burgers Landing on our way to Fort Flagler. Caught by the fun theme of the airplane sticking out of the front of the store, we decided to swing back by after the Fort for dinner. The whole family enjoyed the design of the building, though there isn’t really anything inside relating to the theme, as there is just an order counter. Unless you want to sit outside at the picnic tables, this is a take-out restaurant. They had quality food. The burgers, fries and onion rings were really good, like the best burger stands in our own area. Inside we noted that they have won various regional awards for the best burgers around. Especially notable were the hamburger bun options. I ordered a Whole Wheat bun and my wife ordered a Gluten Free bun. Mine was excellent, not noticeably different than a typical hamburger bun. My wife has had a lot of Gluten Free products and she said that Burgers Landing’s gluten free hamburger bun was the best she had ever had. She noted that it had the texture of a croissant. I think she would have gone back the next day for another, if we had been in the area still.

There’s nothing better than a fast delicious burger. The air plane adds to the name of course. I visit often. If there’s any problems, they’re fast to fixing them. Over all the food fills you up and makes your bad day the best day ever.

If you’re on the upper peninsula and in the mood for a damn good burger, stop in to Burgers landing, they have a great selection of chicken, beef, and Vegi-burgers to choose from as well as 15 different shakes and a selection of dipping sauces! As a creature of habit, I always have the same bacon and cheese burger, seasoned fries, & a coffee shake! the best burger on the Peninsula, next to Fat Smittys in Discovery Bay! They do close at 7pm and are takeout only except for a few outside picnic table’s but we’ll worth making a pit stop in Port Hadlock to have one of their awesome burgers!

The restaurant formerly known as Burgers Landing. Not sure why they changed it, since the original name makes a lot more sense. As others have noted, the place is pretty easy to spot since it’s the only building in town with the front of an airplane sticking out of it. The burgers are excellent and you can order ahead. Since the food is tasty it gets pretty backed up a lunchtime, so it’s not a bad idea at all to order ahead if you show up after noon.(360) 379‑8388. Even if you haven’t called ahead, don’t despair. They’re not quite as fast as Mickey D’s but they’re no slouches and your food will come out hot. Or at least mine does. There is no inside seating. There’s barely enough room inside to order your food and pick it up, but there are tables outside, and you probably came here in your car so that’s always a good fallback on miserable days.

Service saltier than the food. The two ladies working the counter were in really bad moods. As I waited they talked about how much they hated some of their customers. One kept saying how sick she was and wanted to go home. Maybe the secret sauce has Contempt in it? Burger and fries were great, tho.

Burgers, fries and shakes are real good. It’s best to call your order in. Would have given it 5 stars if there was indoor seating.

«BURGERLANDING» Apparently it has since been renamed. It’s pretty easy to find, go past the QFC in town and look for the airplane burger joint, lol. Pretty good food, relatively fast and not too expensive. Service was good. Seems to get a little busy/backed up so if you’re in a hurry you might want to call your order in. You will still have to wait in line to pay but at least you will get your food right away. Fries could be better-if you like seasoning make sure to grab some salt and pepper.

I am about to graduate from the wooden boat school in Port Hadlock, and sadly dont think I will be back for quite a while, so I am going to write this place a good review! As a former SFCA cook, and having worked at an upscale burger joint in SF, I understand there are many levels of burger heaven from upscale $ 20 burgers to your run of the mill fast food burger. Bloomers Landing has the fast food burger level on lock down. Better then In-N-Out or any other popular fast food burger joint by miles. Why? The burgers are flavorful, delicious, and most importantly juicy. It does not matter how expensive the ingredients on your burger are if it is as dry and chewy as a leather shoe. I HIGHLY recommend the mushroom bacon burger. The mushrooms enhance the flavor of the beef(mushrooms are like natural MSG and enhance flavor), and the bacon is perfectly crisp and not to salty. Make sure you get napkins ;) The ladies who work the counter are also always fun to chat with, and always have natural beautiful smiles that will brighten your rainy WA lunch hour. Ill be back…

Formerly made the best BLT in the Milky Way. Now, with a new owner, and the crappy new paint job, the BLT is barely edible. The old BLT was grilled on sourdough bread and the bacon was perfect. The new BLT is on a Sesame seed bun straight out of McDonald’s, and the bacon is as hard as old paint.

Possibly the best burger joint in Washington. All I can say is YUM!

I feel fortunate to live only a few miles from this place. I am a big fan of the fast-food cheeseburger, and this little shack out in the middle of nowhere manages to do it better than any major chain you can name. And I’m from LA, so this list includes In-n-Out. It ain’t fancy, it’s a slab o’ beef on a bun with some fixin’s, but when that’s what you want, there ain’t nothin’ better, and nobody’s doin’ it better than Bloomer’s Landing. (To be fair, they also offer other sandwiches, with fried fish or crispy chicken patties, which are also real good, but come on, go for the burgers.) (And the fries, which are also great.)

Yah, the inside may be standing room only while you wait for your order to be made, but it’s worth being cramped. Their burgers are seriously the best in the area, and that’s saying a lot. We’ve got some gooooood burgers up here. My partner has been eating there regularly since it opened over a decade ago and he introduced it to me when I first moved here 5 years ago — you could easily say it’s one of our favorite gut bombs. The clam strips are also pretty damn tasty. It’s your run of the mill burger take-out place, but like… one notch up.

Order: Double Bacon Cheeseburger w/fries and a mocha shake Cost: $ 12.10 Burger Layout: Bun, Cheese, Bacon, Burger, Cheese, Bacon, Burger, Tomato, Lettuce, Onion, Special Sauce, Bun Fries: Plain, crispy, and hearty It was described to me as the only building with an airplane coming out of it. Most places don’t have a feature that unique to describe it, but this one certainly has a plane sticking out of the side of the building. Walking in, there is only room to order your burger, fill up your drink, and look at their numerous awards they’ve won from both the Peninsula Daily News and Port Townsend Leader for best burger /restaurant /milkshake etc. The award for best milkshake makes me scratch my head a little though. There were 3 half gallon cartons of Dari-gold shake mix on the counter that are what goes into the award winning shakes. I ordered one anyways, and it was nothing to write home(or Unilocal) about. The burger was fantastic for the most part. Bacon had a good savory crunch to it that complimented the burger and cheese perfectly. My only complaint about it was the secret sauce. First of all, 80% of it was on 50% of the sandwich. Second, it was a little too ketchup derivative for my taste. Finally, I like burgers with names… all they have are burgers/cheeseburgers/bacon cheeseburgers, no names with any flare. Great place all together, but I must say I would prefer a trip to visit Fat Smitty if I’m in Jefferson County. 3⁄5
