On Saturday afternoon I realized I had a difficult problem. I needed to get some pants hemmed so I could wear them to an event Sunday morning. I called several tailors with no luck. I called this place and told Kathryn my problem. She warmly told me she wasn’t even working that day but if it was that important she would come in and do them for me. Really? Saved my life. She even took into account that my pants were new and might shrink so she sewed them by hand to ensure there was enough room. Then arranged to get them to me in the evening. Incredibly thoughtful personal service that you don’t see much anymore. This is the first place I will go if I need any kind of alterations done.

I bought a beautiful dress to attend a wedding in Austin. It needed to be adjusted a little up top. I was so nervous about finding someone who could do the alterations and still keep the integrity of the dress. I found Kathryn on Unilocal and it turned out to be the perfect place for what I needed done. You can tell by listening to her that she is so knowledgeable about fabrics. She did exactly what was needed for my dress to fit perfectly. I am so happy to have found her and will definitely return if I ever need something altered.
