My BF and I tried to go for lunch yesterday and it appears they have gone out of business. Poop. I loved the Banh Mi here.

You know, this is like any other phở spot, nothing more nothing less. The name is what really got me in. Kinda expensive for a small bowl of phở though. And seriously, I was the only one there for a while, so the service was extremely prompt. After a family of three came in, I had to get up to get my bill ’cause no one was checking on me.

I have been to just about every Phở place in town. I drive all the way from Vancouver Washington to eat here. Got Phở is the best I have ever had. I love the vegetable Phở. Healthy, fresh and delicious. I have had the Phở with meat as well. The meat is lean and all of their ingrediaents are fresh and healthy tasting. The broth is rich and flavorful not watered down like most other Phở restaurants. Highly recommend Got Phở.

If you’re looking for good veggie phở, don’t try this place. The broth barely has any taste. They do nothing with the tofu. It’s just sliced, raw tofu. And I hardly got any noodles. I gave them two stars because the server was really nice. I’m still looking for really good veggie phở in Portland.

I’ve gotten to-go from here probably 5 times over the past 6 months or so. The first time I was very wowed, with decreasing«wow-ness» ever since. Yesterday I called and ordered a large beef phở to go. She quoted me 15 minutes, but I arrived in 10 to see it sitting on the counter already. Not that big of a deal as I don’t really judge to-go orders if they’re not piping hot because it’s my choice to go sit on my couch and watch TV while I eat, not theirs. However, the amount of noodles was less than the previous time I had been and ordered a small. The broth, the most important part, was seriously lacking in flavor. It was quite a disappointment. Since the food wasn’t super hot(again not really upset about that as it’s my choice to get food to-go) the raw beef they include that’s meant to cook inside the broth didn’t really do so as quick as usual. Luckily I like my meat a tad on the rare side, but I might caution others of this in case you don’t. Anyway tl;dr — Was really impressed on my first visit or two. I feel that quality is going down. WIll I be back? Probably in another 6 months to see if they’re got their broth got its groove back.

Used to be our favorite until we found the owner was feeding a customers dog from a plate also used as tableware for guests. When inquired about if he thought that was the right thing to do, he was apathetic to the situation and said restaurants have hard times in business. My point about him risking the health of other customers by 1) having dog in restaurant 2) feeding dog 3) using same plates as humans seemed to go right past his head. um, can anyone say, health inspection fail. what an idiot.

Wow, this place just knocked my socks off! We started with charbroiled pork salad rolls that my 7 year old daughter said were the best thing she’d eaten next to ice cream! Lemongrass chicken Bahn mi that was on freshly baked bread and a very solid chicken phở with excellent broth. And the clincher… Ninkasi beer. Done. Deal. This place is my new Vietnamese go-to and I’ve tried dozens of places in Portland. I highly recommend this place.

I’ve tried a bunch of Bahn-Mi sandwiches around town over the last month and the Lemon Grass Chicken sandwich at Got Phở? is easily one of the best and at less than five bucks it’s one of the best values.

I love going to new places for Phở, but I keep coming back to Got Phở. They have great broth, lots of meat, decent prices, and it’s generally pretty quiet. I have another Phở place a block from my house, and I would still rather make the short drive to Got Phở. Easily my favorite Phở in PDX so far. **It’s also the PERFECT cure for a hangover!

So sad because this Phở is delicious. But we were just there and they allowed a couple to bring their small(non-service) lap dog inside the restaurant. They then let the dog sit at the table and eat off of plates, etc. We tried to address this with the manager and he shrugged and laughed and didn’t care. His excuse was that this is Portland and health codes like this are over looked. We were astonished. My boyfriend tried to reason with the manager to no avail — even pointing out that«this isn’t about cute dogs but the health of his customers.» The response was that it’s «hard to own a business.» I can sympathize but I wonder what other health codes they are violating due to inconvenience. We’ve been to this restaurant many times and have enjoyed the food. But unfortunately we won’t return after this experience.

Phở was only OK. The meat wasn’t terribly fresh and was very chewy. The atmosphere was very loud and obnoxious, they need to do something about that because it definitely cut into the dining experience. Parking lot is a pain to get in and out of. Even though the the place was probably 80% empty, I felt like we were rushed out. They practically served us our food and then gave us the check with a «take your time!» as if it was OK to give us the check while we were still eating. You go to some authenticish Asian restaurants and you deal with the poor customer service because the food was so good but in this case, the food was not great and the service was on par with a crappy experience. I would not recommend this place.

Five star phở, indeed. What’s my basis of comparison for five star phở? Five stars to me means DELICIOUS broth, tender meat, clean establishment, crisp produce, and quick service. Extra bonus that its not all the way in deep SE, and it’s an easy on/off the Banfield. Got it? *slurp* I was actually dining here when I drafted this review, earlier this afternoon.

I am on a seemingly never-ending quest to find a phở restaurant that has good food, decent service, and is clean. Service/Atmosphere: This is definitely the best service I’ve gotten at a phở joint in Portland. It is very clean. They burn incense in-house, which is a bit off-putting(at least for an allergic-to-everything person like me), but not a deal-breaker. The loud Christmas music playing during my last visit was a bit bizarre paired with the golden Buddha statue at the restaurant entrance. Food: The phở is good– full of vegetables and everything seems really fresh. The noodles were a bit sticky and came out in a huge clump. The broth leaves a bit to be desired, but that’s not a huge deal if you fill your bowl with cock sauce. Mmm, cock sauce. Got Phở gets 4 stars for good service, decent food, and a clean dining area. I still haven’t found a restaurant that has everything I’m looking for, but this place is close.

One of the best Phở joints in town, don’t let that fact that it’s in a Strip Mall fool you. I’ve been going there for years now, since its close to my work. In fact the second I walk in the door, the owner submits my order to the kitchen, no need to even take my order. — Very fast service — Free Tea — Generous meat portions ++ — Tasty Phở Broth — Always an open table — Friendly/Funny owner — They usually have Country Music playing Great all-around«in-and-out» place to go on your lunch break.

I found it. I finally found it. I have searched every Unilocal review, every map, every quadrant, every corner, every building, every single place where I could possibly look, I looked. I finally found my favorite vegan phở in Portland. YES! Finally. This search has been exhausting but there is sweet, sweet victory and hot, spicy phở at the finish line to reward my tireless efforts. I used to live on Sandy and still live close so I’ve driven by Got Phở like a billion times and always ignored it because it’s in a strip mall. Did I think a strip mall could satisfy my love of vegan phở? No, no I did not. I didn’t even think they would offer a veggie phở. Bless whoever recently wrote a roundup of vegan phở in The Mercury and tipped me off to the one phở place I’ve ignored for no good reason until it came recommended with high accolades. So what’s so great about it? For starters, it has all the vegetables I love and none of the ones I hate. I really don’t need carrots in my phở, thank you very much. It has three, count them, THREE kinds of onions: white, green and fried. That’s perfection right there. The broth is delightful, the vegetables are fresh, the condiments are perfect, the service is super nice, the place is clean and the price is beyond reasonable. They even offer two sizes for those who like a smaller phở. That person ain’t me. It’s go big or go home for this gal. Goodbye all other phở places that have let me down in the past for various reasons(surly service, mediocre phở, dumb vegetables, accidentally served meat, etc…). I am breaking up with all of you and declaring my undying love for Got Phở. You got me, Got Phở!

Food is great. I’m a fan of Vietnamese cuisine and have sampled quite a bit around Portland. For the price, this place is as good as it gets. Atmosphere is a bit lacking, but I’ve never chosen this place for a fine dining experience w/a date… I’d eat here on a daily basis if I could.

The Phở here is some of the best in town. I feel great after eating it and like other reviews say, it’s not greasy Phở you find further out on Sandy. It’s fresh and delicious Phở you. The inside is like a diner, no date cook points. But it is a fast, healthy, and extremely tasty dinner or lunch option. The tables already have napkins, sauces, chopsticks and spoons in them when you sit down. The waiter I spoke with was very proud of the family recipe they use and the quality of produce they use. English was a little rough but I think that adds to the place. A second time back I had a less English inclined waitress who was very sweet. In the times that I’ve been there I’ve gotten three different flavors of Phở, done the ‘build your own stir fry’ and ordered their stiffer special. All of them have been very tasty. I definitely recommend this place looking for a wide variety of quality Vietnamese dishes.

THEIRPHOISN’T GREAT but I still ate it all… I should’ve known from experience if the place doesn’t reek of phở when entering, it’s not going to be that phở you’ve been craving all day. The broth didn’t have the flavor I was familiar with or was hoping for. It tasted more like Swanson’s chicken broth(with sodium) & a few other ingredients added to it. The chicken breast chunks were tender, the noodles were cooked well & there was plenty of bean sprouts to go around but only a few basil pieces to share. The small bowl filled me up & you may get by with leftovers on the large but I don’t recommend it since noodles sitting in broth after so long tend to get mushy. This wasn’t the worst phở I’ve had in PDX so I’ll give it an ‘A’ for effort, but I’ll be checking some others out before I hit this place again.

Why yes, they do «GOTPHO». In fact, they got veggie phở. They got some other Vietnamese food, they got beer, they got wine, they got drinks, they got appetizers, they got really friendly service. In fact, they got lots of things. What they don’t got, however, is amazing phở. The phở here is standard, maybe slightly above-par phở. It’s $ 6.95 for a large bowl with an average amount of meat, noodles, and attendant sides. The broth lacked depth or any real character. It’s just basic salty beef star-anise broth. I tried this place on recommendation of someone who claims that this place has Phở Hung beat. I even tried it twice to make sure that my first order(take out), was not my only yard-stick. Sad to say(or, I guess, happy to vindicate my position that Phở Hung still has the best in the west) the phở here is not really any better than any average phở joint in town. I do like that they have veggie phở, because most other places with veggie phở have really crappy meat phở, so when my wife wants veggie phở, I am relegated to eating bad phở instead of my beloved Phở Hung. This place has better beef phở than any of the other places that also offer veggie phở, so I feel like I am going to end up eating here more often than I would otherwise desire. Oh well, the things we do for our loved ones, eh? If you’re in the area, this place is worth checking out, and if you are a beef phở lover that is chained to a vegetarian(and you’ve been stuck eating marginal phở at places like Chopsticks), this place may be your saving grace. I came, I saw, I got phở… I left, slightly disappointed. I did leave with a smile on my face(from the friendly service), and a belly full of warm salty broth, which is always a positive thing.
