I can’t say there is anything super unique or special about putters, but the staff alone is what makes this place shine. Standard bar food(love the Cobb salad) and very affordable breakfast on the weekends(until 1pm). Regulars are friendly, lots of TVs for sports ball, and a covered patio for the smokers… things you can find at almost any neighborhood bar, but the staff keeps me coming back.

Came to watch the Sat night division rivals Eagles and Redskins. Amazing service! Had the Nachos. They serve the chips on the side so they don’t get soggy, smart. Legit beer selection. Lots of TVs. More seating than appears. Definitely a local spot. We got the stink vibe a bit when we came to watch football instead of the Blazers. Eventually got shut out. No problem, we’re Seahawks fans anyway. Definitely a good spot for a pint, however not to hang out for the night unless you’re a local.

Your bartender, or some other low employee, just came out and took a picture of my car, claiming he knew I did drugs in his bathroom and that he was going to call the police if I did not leave. Being accused of doing drugs in a place I have never even been inside of is offensive enough as is… It’s really a shame that you have so many people coming in there to do those things that you begin to lose potential future business because you are so quick to assume that somebody sitting(not even in front of your building) is there to do drugs in your bathroom. I feel violated, and I will happily tell people to never go here in the future.

Nice atmosphere and great wings. I got to choose hotness level of 1 – 10, so i was feeling like i had brass balls the size of Texas that day and ordered the #10. Left the place feeling like my balls haven’t even started to descend. Loved it though. Place is pretty clean and johny-on-the-spot service. Got pretty Lit on the cheap and woke up the next day feeling good because i normally feel like i got a summer sausage shoved in my butt after checking my bank account. Burger special on ducks and beavers games so lots of locals. Pretty annoying that day, sat next to a jamoke who wore a Georgia shirt, found out he wasn’t a half bad dude.

I’ve been to the new location several times now, and I am still liking this bar. The staff is very friendly and if you’ve been enough, they know what you like. The bartenders are fun and will make just about anything for you. They even get bored and will come up with their own drinks, and if you are the kind of person to try anything, they’ll test their creations on you. That’s always fun. The food is good, I’ve tried a number of things but I still have my favorites. It’s fun to go in a group so you can share everything and try out things you might not eat if you went alone or with 1 other person. I’ll be making it back because it’s still close to enough my house.

Drinks were great and Tina was exceptional behind the bar. Friendly, great service-couldn’t ask for more. Going back to try food menu-looks great!

Best happy hour burger ever. They make their own burgers, and they are fabulous… and FIVEDOLLARS during happy hour(WITHFRIES). You will NOT find a deal like this anywhere, OR one that tastes HALF this good. Their ranch dressing is phenomenal, their drinks are delicious, their wait staff are always friendly. Its like that show«cheers», except not as clean. But twice as epic. Go here for the burger, and find far more.

PROS: The wait staff is very kind & friendly, during Timbers games the cheeseburger is $ 4, there’s a good selection of beers. CONS: The patio isn’t really covered, so it’s pretty much an oven on warm days. The bar hasn’t really developed any character yet — it’s just a physical space, the hand-formed hamburger patties have NO seasoning to speak of… there might as well be shredded newspaper in there for all the flavor they have. There’s potential for a cool place here, it just hasn’t found its footing yet. Maybe the yet-to-be-completed game room(w/darts, please!) will help this joint find its identity. So far, it’s a neighborhood place to watch a game in a pinch… hope that changes.

I’ve only been to the new Putter’s once, but I kinda liked it. It’s nice and clean inside and the bathrooms don’t smell weird like they did at the old location. I had the clam strips with fries and they were fantastic. The bartender was nice, and the outdoor seating area was roomy and pleasant. The best part was the pack of meatheads who hung around on the sidewalk smoking, yelling at their wives/girlfriends, and blocking the front door don’t seem to have followed Putter’s down Woodstock.

Tried the new Putters last night. Very boring and dark. The people there seemed like zombies but the wait staff was nice. No music and no area for a live band which is of great importance. Way too yuppy for me no fun at all and since when did bars allow dogs in the restaurant… That was not pleasant. The food that patrons ordered did look good I will give them that much. The smoking area was horrible and the ash trays over flowed with buts. Not attractive. When will people understand that most drinkers and bar patrons smoke. I don’t smoke and I’m not one of those complainers and it does not bother me much. It actually comes with the territory. People should not be judged or treated like second class just cause they smoke. Too many cry babies, it’s a bar for goodness sake. I felt like the customers treated the smokers like they have the plague not cool at all, everyone should be able to sit outside together. The law is 10 feet from the door in Oregon. Not a big deal. I won’t be returning too boring and the people seemed pretentious and rude. I love live music that is what I look for in a great bar or pub, it’s obvious this will never happen. After 2 shots and one drink my tab was 20 $, that’s a ripoff, especially when they have nothing to offer in entertainment. This place won’t last long.
