Terrible service, the gal working seemed to be bothered we went in. Didn’t even describe the wines to us, and she complained about cleaning up after folks… no way we will ever be back.

This winery is right next to Apex and if one tasting room is busy, just go next door to the one that isn’t…which was this one at the time. It’s a small tasting room but the man who was working was in his cowboy hat and was very conversational. The wine tasting was free and when I told him we just wanted to share a tasting, he was appalled and poured us 2 anyways. The servings were tasting sizes anyway so it worked out. I didn’t end up buying anything but the wines we still enjoyed the tasting. I definitely think this place is worth checking out. They did have some decent prices on their wine. The cheapest being around $ 15 – 18 a bottle.

A very sweet couple and their son and daughter-in-law run this place. It’s a small tasting room, but the rose was excellent.

I’m a local yet only seem to get here maybe twice a year when taking people out on wine tours. I just stopped in the other day for Spring Barrel tasting weekend and was really impressed by these folks. The wines are excellent(not just good, excellent — and I drink/try a good amount of wine). If you are on tour through the valley, I highly recommend stopping in and paying this winery a visit. The reds are complex and their rose/blush is one of the top summer wines in the valley IMHO. I think when you are a small winery, and maybe especially a small hispanic winery you try a little harder. I notice that effort everytime I stop in and visit.
