My favorite new slider place! It’s very a much a quick service type of place, but boy, do they have options and they do them well. I had the Hawaiian burger sliders and they were phenomenal. I loved the flavor combo — I never would have thought to put pineapple on a burger. Staff is really friendly and the restaurant is clean. Street parking, but there’s usually a decent amount with a minimal walk. I will definitely be back to try more on the menu!

Loved this place! Sliders are juicy, taste fresh and there are a number of topping/types of burgers to try. I went with the Maui Beef JR and is was so good. Had an order of fries, which is plenty for two people and nice and crispy. Go check them out. They are open late and deliver in Providence. I told my husband that it is a good thing I don’t work downtown anymore or I’d be ordering from here way too often. If you stop by, it is casual. Better than fast food, but that type of counter service and you can sit down on your own in the dining area.

Wanted to try this versus Harry’s Burgers. I had the Alpine burgers(comes in set of 2) & the SW Bacon Chicken wrap. Both okay, but not memorable. The place is clean and I was there in the afternoon and the only patron — the best feature was the helpful 2 young women at the counter. I told them it was my first time and they told me their personal favs & why. Very friendly & helpful. One also recommended the Chipotle Mayonnaise which was worthwhile. Apparently a big part of their business model is LATE delivery — maybe 4:00 am, but late whatever the exact time is. Pretty expensive for what you get in my opinion. In comparison to Harry’s I don’t think it is close, I’ll go back to Harry’s but not likely Jr’s.

Very clean. Staff is super nice. Food was tasty. My only complaint would be the prices, but other than that, I’d say this place is pretty awesome. They’ve even just recently added draft beer to the menu. So recently, in fact, they told me that I was the first one to order a beer there! Anyways, we split orders of Alpine and Southwest sliders and a side of curly fries. As I said above, all was very tasty. The sliders were cooked properly and had solid toppings, although the Southwest sliders could have used a bit more pizzazz. Curly fries were super crispy and were great with their Fire Sauce, which seemed to be a sriracha mayo. They seem to be open until 4AM, so I’ll likely be here again after some late-night city-romping.

I like this place a lot! I had the Alpine sliders, and they were so yummy. Really fresh ingredients and super friendly service. The onion petals and fried mushrooms were also super tasty. On my previous trip, I ordered the fried oreos, which I liked, but I’d prefer less batter. They were almost like a dough ball with an oreo stuffed inside them, and I’d prefer the carnival-style ones where there is a light batter. The interior is large and roomy; lots of seats and a clean appearance. Definitely would come back again!

I went as part of the RI Food Fights Burger Blowout 2016, so I got free burgers(Yay!). The burgers were great, the people friendly, and the place spotless. The sweet potato fries are the best I’ve had, seriously; not too thick, crispy and fluffy in the middle. It’s walking distance to my favorite local music club, Nick-A-Née’s, so it’s a perfect place for a bite before or after a show.

The Alpine JR sliders were fantastic! The fire fries were perfectly cooked. Very friendly staff and clean restaurant. A great lunch time visit. What more could you ask for? I will be back.

This was my first stop on the RI Food Fights Big BURGER Blowout 2016 and also my first stop at Jr’s which is next door to The Village and across from Rick’s Roadhouse. Its a bit more spacious inside than you’d expect looking at from the outside. I went on a Sunday evening, the place was pretty empty but it was clean and looked like it was recently remodeled. The menu is located on the wall. You give your order and pay at the counter, they will bring it out to you if you’re eating in. I ordered the 3 pepper bacon Jr(w/pretzel bun) and a side of fire fries. The burgers are small sliders, but the patty is a bit larger than what you’d find at Harry’s. I thought the jalapeño would provide a little kick, but it wasn’t spicy at all to me. The flavor was pretty good and the burger was cooked medium as requested. The fries look like your standard crinkle cut fries and the fire sauce, which tastes like a spicy mayo, complimented the fries well. Again, despite the name, the fire sauce is more flavor than spice. On a 1 – 10 pain index with 10 being burn your face off, its like a 2. At $ 8.95 plus an additional $ 4 for the fries, I felt as though it was a little pricier than what you’d get at another burger place, but then you remember it is on the outskirts of downtown where things can be a little pricier than other parts of the city or neighboring cities. Not a deal breaker, just an observation. I would go back if in the area, but wouldn’t make it a priority to go back immediately.

I’ve read a bunch of reviews on this place & was excited to try it. Everything was OK, but nothing was as good as I expected it to be. Pros: — large menu with options for most palates — free refills — the hot spicy mayo — burgers cooked properly Cons: — tight/confining booths(ok for most people, but not for anyone with weight issues) — no table service(this is intentional) — food was good, but not great — price on high end considering the quality of what you get & that there’s no table service May have just been an off day. Would be willing to try it again. But, I would need to have a much better experience for this to make it on my regular rotation.

Awful. Always overcooked sliders. Tried twice. Never again. Second time asked for med rare. Closer to rare. Got well done again. I don’t think the burger flippers or management realize that they will continue to cook in the box once out for delivery. Cooking 101. Asked for well done wings. Came soggy and breaded. Obviously from breaded frozen. Free cheese fries with a $ 10 dollar purchase wasn’t worth the box they put them in. Mushy, undercooked and rather disgusting amount of whiz.

Don’t let the brightly lit no-frills appearance fool you. The burgers could easily pass as burgers from a fancy upscale restaurant. They’re dainty looking. They’re picture perfect. They’re almost too cute to eat. See my photo. Well I did eat my burgers. Technically Jr’s calls them sliders however they’re slightly bigger than your typical sliders. They’re more like two small sized burgers. I liked that they were thick and juicy, like pub style burgers but smaller. The buns were great and the toppings too. Everything about them was super-delicious! Service was provided with a pleasant smile. Jr’s menu is quite extensive, but I believe their big hit items are sliders(burgers), wraps, and desserts. If you’re looking for some sort of high cal comfort food chances are they have it. I imagine this place makes for a great stop in combating late night munchies after an evening of bar hopping in downtown Providence.

We came in and ordered food to go on Monday… and we also got food delivered on Tuesday. Let’s just say we love Jr’s My boyfriend ordered the Philly Cheese Jr on Monday & a Chicken Caesar Wrap on Tuesday. He loved both. I ordered the Pulled Pork Jr on Monday & the Chicken Jr with grilled chicken. Also we got fries both nights. The pulled pork was delicious. They put so much on that I had to save the second for lunch the next day. The grilled chicken was delicious. It had a lot of flavor. The fries are crinkle-cut like at White Castle. The staff was super nice on Monday. The food came out within 10 minutes. On Tuesday, the delivery site told us that it would be 1hr 15mins to 1hr 25 mins. Our food arrived in 40 minutes which was great. They’re open till 3:45am for delivery too. We will be at least monthly customers.

Get home from work, don’t feel like cooking, and in the mood for a great burger and fries… what do you do? Order Jr’s! I received a menu from Jr’s a few weeks back, and thought it looked interesting, so rather than throwing it in the recycle bin, I put it with the rest of the my «go-to» takeout menus, and I am glad I did. On a recent evening, I got home from work late, was exhausted and didn’t feel like cooking and decided to order takeout. I shuffled through my takeout menus and wanted something that could be delivered and Jr’s delivers! I ordered the Original JR on a pretzel bun, an order of fries, an order of fried Oreos and a buffalo chicken wrap for lunch the next day, using Jr’s website ordering. Ordering could not be easier or more convenient, and delivery was expected in about 40 minutes. About an hour later, I got a phone call from Jr’s. I picked up thinking it was the delivery driver, but it was actually the manager, apologizing that through an error on their part, my order was just being prepared and was going to be another 20 – 25 minutes. I was obviously disappointed and beginning to get hungry… really hungry. The food did arrive almost exactly 20 minutes later, and was delivered by one of the owners/managers. He again apologized profusely and delivered my food with the addition of a $ 10 gift card for my patience, which was a much appreciated and classy move! The food was worth the wait — the slider-sized burgers were well cooked and delicious, and the pretzel buns were excellent! Fries were crispy and delicious, and the fried Oreos were AWESOME! The buffalo chicken wrap was also delicious and made for an excellent lunch the next day. I am looking forward to giving Jr’s another try in the near future. Assuming that the long wait was an exception, I am excited to have Jr’s deliver again, and recommend that others do the same.

First visit! Loved it! Got some info from synrgy gym not too long ago, they had appetizers for free which where extremely good! My girlfriend and I went after the gym. I had a tuna wrap and she had a salmon wrap, both on whole wheat wraps. I half expected it to be tuna salad but it was legit! Cooked medium just like I wanted and just the right size! The sauce? Amazing! Basil pesto, lemon garlic, and fire sauce(spicy mayo). Plus they had options to purchase full jars of it for only $ 4! Definitely doing that next time! Parking was a bit weird, but we just kind of winged it. Smaller booths were definitely not for the portly! But what matters is the food and customer service! Second to none! Totally will by pass the barbecue joint across the street again to go here! Overall, definitely going to return with more people! Great, healthy options!(As well as unhealthy)

I was so glad to see this place was within walking distance to the Children’s Museum! After leaving we were fearful that if we put my twin nieces back in the car they would have fallen asleep, so instead, we opted to walk a few blocks to get lunch. When we arrived to Jr.‘s there was only 1 other group inside so it was easy to find a spot to sit. We had to take turns looking over the menu since we also had to keep 3 year old’s occupied, but it was pretty easy to make a decision on what to get. The person behind the register explained the menu to us and how to order since we admitted we had never been in before. The menu had a lot to choose from and everything sounded so good. Thankfully they even had a kid’s menu so that made it easier. We placed out order and waited for our food. I liked how everything was made to order so when the food did come out it came out hot and fresh. I ordered the fried chicken sliders with cheese and some fries. We had a few orders of fries around the table to share. The chicken was pretty good and the fries were hot and crispy. This is an order at the counter and then grab a seat kind of place. They even have a soda machine for you to fill up your own drink and get refills as needed. Overall, this is a good spot and if I lived in the area I would definitely go back to try out some more of the menu items.

As far as a late night spot with delivery, Jr’s is pretty fantastic. They have a huge menu of beef, chicken, and turkey sliders. They can all be made into wraps as well. Definitely a flavor combo for everyone. Their appetizers are fun and different(fried mushrooms!!!) and they have delicious dessert bites as well… my favorite are the bananas foster bites, and I opt for the strawberry dipping sauce. The BEST part about Jr’s is that they can deliver a perfectly cooked, medium rare slider at 2 in the morning. A lot of restaurants can’t even get it from the kitchen to the table at the right temp, let alone keep it perfectly cooked after a car ride across town. Every time they’ve been on point. It’s impressive. I ordered a crispy chicken wrap… the chicken was crispy! The dessert bites were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. They offer multiple sauce or bread options for the majority of their items and they’ve yet to make a mistake on our order. The ordering process takes a bit longer than the average takeout order because, as I mentioned earlier, they’ll ask you about bun type, wrap type, and preferred sauces. However, you WILL get exactly what you ordered, and it will be cooked just the way you like it. I’m into it.

So sometimes I just want a quick meal and I decide to order through Grub hub. I was trying to eat healthier so I decided i’ve been just getting the wraps. They always arrive in a timely manner and are still warm. I have tried their chicken/avocado, chicken caesar, and buffalo chicken wrap. I would say the chicken caesar was my favorite so far than the chicken/avocado. I wasn’t a big fan of the buffalo chicken wrap. I have also tried their fried mushrooms which were adequate but they give you so many! I always feel full after eating just the wrap so I think they are good portion size. I have been wanting to try their fried oreos but«health conscious» stops me right away. I have never eaten inside the restaurant but I feel like if you are in the mood for a wrap or a slider(which is really what they are known for) than I would give this place a shot. Even if you are feeling lazy, get it delivered!

This new nugget in the Jewelry district may seem unassuming and your run of the mill burger/sandwich joint, oh but that couldn’t be more wrong. Jr’s has a huuuuge menu of all kinds of sliders, wraps and sides/appetizers. Think of that awesome college joint you went to late night but upgraded. I was sad to see Blount’s leave Providence so I was coming in with that bit of negativity but that washed away once I took a bite into their Southwest Jr.(a slider on the Jr menu). Locals know Harry’s is the place for sliders but what sets Jr’s apart are the fix-ins. They actually include toppings like lettuce, tomato, etc. and I have to say I was missing them on Harry’s burgers. Those curly fries you see up there on the menu, those taste exactly like Arby’s(which we sorely miss in the state of RI). Head on over to Jr’s for an awesome slider and you will see what I mean when you take a look at their menu.
