I recently discovered Moonflour Bakery at the Apex Farmers Market. It is so nice to find a local bakery that is exclusively gluten free. Over the past several weeks I have purchased several items from Moonflour Bakery and everything has been delicious. My favorite so far have been the lemon bars. I will be ordering cupcakes soon for an upcoming birthday and can’t wait to try them. Definitely give Moonflour a try if you see them at your local farmers market!

Moonflour Bakery is a local bakery that makes gluten-free bread products(their products are also soy-free and dairy-free). You can order their bread online and pick it up at Brier Creek or find them at the Saturday Market at Rebus Works.(A few local restaurants also carry their breads as «gluten-free» menu options). I have two gluten-free co-workers so I picked up a small loaf of banana bread to bring into the office. It was only $ 5, which I thought was reasonable(hey, you’ll pay $ 4 for a muffin from Starbucks that only serves one). The banana bread stayed pretty moist all the way until Tuesday. I’m definitely a fan. I also ordered a lemon poppyseed muffin to eat on the spot, and it was really pretty! It was pretty good generally and really good for a gluten-free muffin! A little grainy, but I’d order one again(and it was also reasonably priced). I hope this gluten-free spot does well!
