Subway

These people have me a cold meatball sub. Have you ever had a cold meatball sub from subway? It’s DISGUSTING, but I had no choice but to eat it because I was on a short break. Get it together!

Really not much to say about this place. It’s subway… however, I feel this is one of the better locations around. I eat herd at a minimum once a week. Sure it gets busy bc Leesville high school is right around the corner but it’d very accommodating. I’ve been to a few subways where the bread was stale, but never at this place. Always fresh. I always get a foot long cold cut trio with a drink. Ends up being around $ 7, which isn’t bad. The restaurant is pretty spacious so that’s good.
I am starting to track calories and it’s a little deceptive bc subway is all about health. The sandwich I am eating right now is around 1200 calories. That’s a lot, of course most of that is my fault, I chose to add mayo, honey mustard, and get a foot long.
Overall a great place but I have to reserve my 5 stars for epic places. It’s hard for a franchise to get 5 stars in my book.

I’m not quite sure whether to give Subway three, four or five stars. Culinary excellence this is not, but I think it’s a high bar to call any subway sandwich a culinary work. Subway does what it sets out to do with the efficiency and speed that most fast-​food restaurants do: it provides a meal in a hurry. Unlike other chains, though, Subway at least provides something that can be fairly healthy. This particular location is no different, and I found the service to be friendly and prompt. In terms of meeting my needs for a quick sandwich shop, it’s just fine.
