I go to different waba ‘s pretty much weekly but this one is close to my house so I visit more often. They need a little customer service training and my gosh I never see them wash their hands!!! I’m sorry but after being the cashier then going to put rice in a bowl your suppose to wash your hands before you put rice in that bowl!!! One girl had major attitude but my hubby and I watched her as we ate and felt like lunch and a comedy movie lol

Food was good. We had the Salmon plate, Steak plate and Chicken Bowl. The Steak plate was ok but all the meat was shredded/chopped up into small pieces, would have preferred larger pieces. Loved the salad dressing that comes with the plate, it was similar to sesame dressing. We prefer the magic sauce at Flame Broiler but everything was good. Some gnats near the soda machine and around our dinner table as we ate, floors were sticky and the staff could be friendlier.

I don’t usually eat here but when my coworkers all wanted to order from here I decided to come pick up the food. I had a super big order and since it’s Saturday they have 2 bowls for around $ 9, and that’s what all my coworkers wanted so in total I ordered about 10 – 12 bowls. Anahi was at the register and helped me and she was extremely patient with the number of orders I had. I brought a piece of paper with everybody’s orders on it and she asked for it so she could label everybody’s bag with their order in it and didn’t once ever seem like it was a hassle. Her kindness and patience was definitely noticed. Thank you so much!

Waba Grill is amazing! Their Chicken plate with brown rice is my favorite and what I just recently ordered tonight. I got my son a chicken bowl with brown rice and he likes it. It’s a great alternative for fast food while we transition into healing eating. Freaking love it!

Had a small issue on one of my visits, but the owner and management took care of it in a very professional matter. Valeria(owner’s assistant) got in contact with me and handled the issue like a true professional! Food is always great and I highly recommend this location.

First time trying waba grill. I got the shrimp veggie bowl and a chicken bowl. I gotta say I was pretty dissapointed with the amount of shrimp I received in my bowl. Only about six pieces of shrimp for the ridiculous price. The chicken bowl had a good amount of chicken but the chicken was nothing special. Reminded me of Yoshinoya chicken. I think I’ll stick to Flame Broiler when it comes to chicken bowls. The staff was not welcoming in this location. No greeting when we entered and the girl mopping the front just turned her back like we were not there. People in the kitchen too busy cleaning and trying to close, we had to stand there about a minute for them to finish up their cleaning before they took our order. It’s not like we showed up five minutes before closing. We showed up 40 minutes before closing. In general service was slow and not a good portion of shrimp for the price.

Food was good as usual, seemed consistent with other wabba grilles I’ve been to in the past.

Came in for lunch and was served at the counter promptly. Ordered the #2, grilled chicken over white rice with side salad and fruit for $ 7.99 with a $ 1.00 refillable drink. Added some free condiments and signature sauces which enhance the already tasty meal. Dine in or take out. On par if not better than Flame Broiler.

Oh gosh. Where do I even begin?! How about the first round of cold food. Family of 4 = 4 meat and rice bowls = 4 cold bowls. Not a good start. How did we know they were cold, you might ask? We each took a few bites hoping that maybe it was just pockets of low temperature. So after we tasted the disgustingly cold food, we took all 4 bowls to the counter and asked for them to be remade and for HOT food… not too much to ask. So what do the yahoos do? PUTTHEFOODWEALREADYSTARTEDEATINGBACKONTHEGRILLWITHTHEFOODBEINGCOOKED. After confronting te employees about it, they apologized for their mistake and gave us 4 more bowls which(idk how this is possible) were also cold. Huh? So we’re sitting there looking around at their bright walls and read«Freshly cooked food», so we questioned the employee, «if your food is supposed to be fresh, how is it so cold?». Her response was…“ONLYSHRIMPANDSALMONARECOOKEDFRESH. EVERYTHINGELSEISPRECOOKED.” Needless to say, NEVERCOMINGBACK. False advertising is ridiculous, but cold food x2 is where I draw the line.

I’m a Waba Grill fan… it’s quick, healthy, and inexpensive, but I must say this particular location on Milliken in Rancho Cucamonga could use some staff personality training. I frequently visit this one because it’s close to home, but I hope the staff does improve and do it soon. Food wise, I honestly have no complaints as of now. Our food as been on point with freshness and taste. I just notice in other locations the friendliness or even the way other Waba Grill(s) that I’ve visited has been far superior with customer service.

I love WaBa Grill’s food, but this particular location on Miliken in Rancho Cucamonga is not staffed with very friendly people. I’ve only been in this WaBa once so far, so maybe it was just a bad night for them, but when my kids and I walked through the door, the look on the staff’s faces was like, «Ah, man… really? Why are you here?» Their body language, lack of smiles and monotone voices told me none of them wanted to be there(the staff). Makes me wonder if the management chews them out a lot because they looked and acted really beaten down. All of them… from the girl behind the counter who took our order to the guys in the kitchen to the guy who was cleaning the dining area. I’ve been to the Waba Grill in Temecula on Temecula Parkway and the staff there is the exact opposite: Always very friendly… every time I go in. Lots of smiles, «hello» and«have a nice day» even from the person mopping the floor as we walk out the door. There’s a huge contrast between these two Waba Grills. Something else to add: Waba in Temecula is right off the Parkway(Hwy 79), a very busy street, and it has very prominent signage… you can’t miss it. The Waba in Rancho Cucamonga is tucked away in a shopping center that I have never had any other reason to visit, so I didn’t know we had a Waba in Rancho for the longest time. We were the only customers in the place, whereas the Temecula location always seems busy. I’m worried that between the crappy customer service and lack of visibility, the Rancho Waba isn’t going to generate enough business to stay afloat. But, I’ll say it again: The food is great — at both locations. It’s a quick, convenient option when we’re looking for something on the healthier side.

I know what waba grill should taste like, this is not it. The quality was terrible. Food was not fresh and the employees were not friendly. The food was thrown together and seems so lazy. It was tough to bite into like it was sitting for a while or over cooked. I don’t know if I would recommend this location. Really disappointed.

This is the second time I’ve been to WG in the last couple of months & the quality of the chicken has seemed to deteriorate. This last time, there were also some crunchy pieces of meat, like some of the meat was old and dry from days ago. Yuck! I’m going to probably stop going to WG,. (I had stopped going to Flame Broiler due to the seemingly decreasing quality of their meat. I haven’t been to a FB probably in the last 2 – 3 yrs. It’s better to go to an authentic Japanese restaurant and there are enough here to do so.)

Ate here last night about 7 pm. I’m going to be honest and say there’s not much to the service here. While not the friendliest of ladies, they weren’t the meanest or the rudest either. They took my order correctly, didn’t give me any attitude and I got back the exact change I was supposed to get. It is what it is. The wife and I ordered a ½ chicken, ½ veggie bowl with brown rice each, for a little under $ 14 total. To tell you the truth, I was so hungry that I didn’t even pay attention to if it was all white meat or mixed, but it was delicious and the small amount of their teriyaki sauce didn’t drown or overpower the rice or the chicken. It certainly complemented it. According to their website, their teriyaki sauce is made from fruits and vegetables, so I am assuming that there isn’t any additional sugar added? Since we’ve been trying to eat clean this week, as well as control our portions, I was happy that the food was neither too salty nor too sweet, as my «taste buds» have surprisingly changed so quickly. Normally, I’d kill the bowl they serve, but either the bowls got bigger or my stomach got smaller because I was only able to eat half, and just had the other half for lunch today. Veggies were also cooked well. Carrots were still a little hard, like barely to the point of getting soft, so that was good because they weren’t too mushy. The cabbage still had crunch, and the broccoli did too. Overall, I don’t think I’ll ever be back to this location as it’s out of my way. We only came here because a cousin was throwing a party and couldn’t eat ANYTHING she was serving! But, if I was to ever be in the area, I might come back.

This was my first time to Waba Grill and unfortunately I wasn’t completely satisfied. I was there around 1230pm and it was a little busy but nothing crazy. My hubby and I were looking over the menu trying to decide when Celsa asked us if we were ready to order yet, she kinda yelled it and followed it with silence, no «how are you?» or eye contact.. It felt a bit rushed but I ordered anyhow. Our food was great and I will definitely be returning for that but Celsa obviously hates her job. I watched her be rude to customers following us. I feel kinda feel bad for her but should we suffer too?

Healthy and filling lunch for $ 6 – 8? Check No MSG, skin, or heroine? Check It’s hard not to come here because it’s healthy and cheap. You don’t really feel guilty coming here compared to Taco Bell where you’d spend the latter part of your meal crying and hating yourself.

Always have fast service here. Only complaint is the girl(Josceline) at the register. Always rude when taking your order and gets easily distracted by her co workers.
