Upper Crust Pizza

I was on Entrée’s Express And decided to Order Upper Crust Pizza for dinner, I’ve lived in Redding Since «79» and have never been there in person.
It was 7:45pm when I called in my Order. After they took my CC info I was told in 45 minutes my dinner would arrive. (8:30)pm Monday eve
At 8:55 I called Upper Crust Pizza Asking where My Order was and thy told me Entrée’s express no longer delivers past 9.00 pm And they had not sent out my order yet, I still had to wait another 25 – 30 minutes, WTF !!!
I ordered a large Caesar Chicken salad and 1 Chicken cal-​zone and 1 meatball cal-​zone & a 2 litter of Pepsi, for a total of 37.61 that Includes the Entrée’s express delivery charge of 7.00
I’m fcking pissed. I’m hungry. My Dinner was delivered at 9:24pm, It took a 1 hour & 45 for my order.
O wow I just Noticed they charged me $ 1.00 more then they advertise the price of each item.

**You should update your prices in Entrée’s Express so your future customers know.
I will not order from this place again, In person or on the phone.

A perfect pizza and friendly, attentive service. Salad bar is excellent!

I think Upper Crust pizza has the best pizza in Redding, they put on tons of high quality toppings, have a good salad bar and a large selection of beer. They have a great private room you can reserve for parties and their staff has always been friendly.

My wife and I just love the pizza here. The pizza is loaded with lots of great toppings. The atmosphere is pleasant most of the time. nice and clean, sometimes a little loud, but then it is a pizza parlor. we have been here three times and have never been disappointed.

Excellent pizza. Friendly helpful staff. Clean. Yummy. Definitely would go back for more Hawaiian Pizza! :-)

Really good pizza! I was hesitant due to the star rating but went for a birthday party and was pleasantly surprised! The service could use some work but it’s not horrible. The room that was reserved wasn’t ready and when I went to the front counter no one was there and I waited for for a couple minutes. There were a couple other service items that could use attention but nothing major that would keep me from going back. Will be taking the hubby there next time we visit Redding.

About 3 years ago, I said that Upper Crust Pizza was like a real good frozen pizza from the store. After much convincing for my buddy, I went back. Glad that I did!!! Topping were good, fresh, and plentiful, crust was perfect, and the beer was cold. The wait is what dropped it down a star (45 mins). So if you plan on going there, call it in, and you will more than likely rate this place 5-​stars.

One of the best pizza places in town! Delicious pizza and salad bar, staff is awesome. Good for parties. Just dont deliver, but thats fine with me cuz im not too far from them anyway. Games for the kids to play. Havent had a bad experience in the many times ive been here. They can get busy, so call and order ahead of time if possible.

Look, it’s just gross. It’s not even good cold the next day for breakfast. Or reheated for lunch. Plus, costs as much as round table. The lack of people in there should have tipped me off. I like the place on Placer across 7 – 11.

Love this place… best salad bar in Redding!!! Their customer service is great and the owner goes out of his way to make sure you have what you need without nickel and dining you for every little ranch cup. All the ingredients are fresh and the pizza is delicious!

Pizza was fantastic and customer service was great. We ordered to late for delivery, so we had to pick up. Which wasn’t bad for us because we were staying a few blocks over. Gave us 2 big sides of Ranch for free. Definitely coming hack when we are in the area!

The pizza overall was good. Crust was avg in taste. I did not have the salad bar, but admittedly it did not look appetizing. Service was again average for that type of an establishment. The restaurant did not have menus so my party had to all get up and go to the cashier to order which was inconvenient. I do want to qualify that I went in at the end of the day so that may have contributed to the salad bar’s appearance.

Excellent pizza. One of the best pizza places I have been to in a long time. Lots of toppings great crust. Will definatley come back. My new go to spot in Redoing for pizza.

Horrible customer service… delivery is a joke. We drove all day and wanted to rest at our hotel so we ordered pizza from Upper Crust. They claim to have a delivery and the fee is $ 7. We were told 35 – 50 min for delivery… an hour or so later, we called them and our «pizza was still in the oven.» We were told it would be an hour and half wait total… we escalated to the manager and no concession was made to compensate for the late delivery… they told us to come and pick up the pizza if we wanted it. No free delivery or free pizza for their poor guarantee on delivery. Way to go to starve a pregnant woman waiting for her pizza…

This was not good. Calzone had almost no sauce and we ordered extra cheese but there wasn’t any hardly at all. Pizza wasn’t great either. Not cooked enough. Should have got a tombstone. Would have been cheaper and tasted better. Garlic cheese bread was soggy but didn’t taste too bad. We won’t be back.

Warning! They have no system to expedite take out orders. If you call ahead and order a pizza, you have to wait in the one line to pay and pick up your pizza. They told me it would be 20 – 25 minutes when I ordered, but they didn’t warn me that I would spend another 25 minutes in line when I got here. There is a serious resource management issue going on here.

This is a good spot for family, friends, or a large group of people. Not really fine dining. It’s a casual pizza place that is family owned. They have an arcade and a tv. As far as the pizza goes, it was very good. They give you so many toppings! Which is great! Like literally spilling over with toppings. The crust was soft but crunchy. I would recommend this place to anyone, expect maybe not a date due to the dated décor.

Second best Pizza in the Area.
Fairly expensive but you get what you pay for.
The dining area is not super clean it has a very OLD 80’s feel to it.

Pizza is quite good, but expensive. Lost a star due to price. The company was top notch, service was good, options are abundant.

I am staying less than a mile a way and had to pay $ 7 delivery fee. Small pizza came out to $ 20. Pizza was so so. I wish crust would have been crispier, I can’t compare it to others in the are being I don’t live here. Overall, so so pizza delivery took about 45 min for a small distance.
