The food is good here they also have a big selection of food. the only thing I didn’t like was the dirty bathrooms and a certain women kept hovering over us like she wanted us to leave after the 3rd plate of food. Other than that I like the place.

Calling all Hawaiians and Islanders. I’m a Asian Buffet fanatic. I travel the country for work and frequent the Asian Buffets. This place by far has the Best Sushi I’ve eaten in its class. Now if your Hawaiian or an Islander you’ll truly appreciate the LUNCH not dinner. For under 9 bucks you’ll get Ahi and Tako sushi which is rare in any buffet let alone for Lunch. Shrimp is very good, rest of the food is decent for an Asian buffet. Fruits are fresh including papaya and some high end fruits. I’d pay the lunch price any day just for all you can eat sushi. Dinner is ok but lunch is where it’s at. If you don’t eat ahi or tako/octopus and or opelu or mackerel. It’s just a good Asian buffet, the above mentioned makes it outstanding for the price and definitely worth the trip.

This place is usually packed, but I cannot figure out why. It must be because of their super low prices, which you can tell is reflected in the quality of the food. I always feel lethargic after, so i recommend to clear your schedule if you choose to eat here because your probably going to need a nap after. However, the only thing I come here for is to get my crab fix and every so often the Mongolian BBQ. Every time I try to eat something else besides the crab, it just makes me not want to eat anymore. But, for some reason that little ice cream machine in the corner must have some crack in it because it has me hooked. The staff here are very quick, and I’m still so impressed with the waitress that can hold 4 cups in one hand that was quite a feat in of itself. The Mongolian BBQ guy thats always there is very nice too, don’t forget to leave him a tip.

Sweeeeet deal for all the seafood and meat and food you could eat. $ 12.99 for dinner per person on week nights and boy do you get your money’s worth. The sushi was good, especially for a buffet, I liked the straight up sashimi. I also loved that they served so many types of shrimp, crab, and seafood. I loved their fried shrimp, pork ribs(so tender and meaty), and crab legs as well as the scallop shell filled with crab meat and corn. The Mongolian grill is also good! I liked just about everything I tried(except for the oyster, I prefer fresh raw oysters). Will definitely come again.

What a mess, I came all the way from west covina to eat here. It was a disaster. They need to be more organized, it takes forever to get ur food because there is too many people, and by the time u go sit down, is all cold. I went with my kids and fiancé, a waste of 80 bucks. Never again! Prepare to wait to be seated, this place should move to a bigger location, too crowded!

My family and I came here for the first time today. The sushi was great. And we loved that there was a different variety of food. There was so much to choose from. It was all great. The price was good too! My only complaint is that the staff isn’t very friendly or attentive. This was our first time and we didn’t know how this worked. The lady who seated us didn’t say a word to us just showed us to our table and the lady who brought our drinks also said nothing as we just sat there staring and looking around. We had to get up and find someone to ask if we could start or if there was a different system to follow.

this place is super loud and chaotic. all the tables all close to each other so you are basically sharing a table with whoever is seated next. Upon arriving there was a huge spill on the floor which took the girls there forever to clean up, people kept walking it over and making it worse. The sushi did not look fresh it was almost warm, and the avocado was black it just did not look appetizing. i tried beef and it was so chewy, the place was just too crowded and it was just dirty looking. The food is not good at all, it is overcooked! Chicken over cooked, crab legs over cooked, steamed beans looked old and overcooked, its just a bad buffet. Not worth it at all! I also will say that the cleaning rags and receipts are kept in a paper box next to were people eat their food, disgusting place.

I want to update my review. The food is good. Unilocal, thanks for taking down that photo of the county food grade with the name and signature of the county worker that committed that horrible act that day. Thank you

It’s usually crowded when I go visit this place. They do fairly well if you reserve for a large party beforehand like I did when we had a family celebration and called in 1 – 2 weeks beforehand. Sushi was cold when I went today and it’s kind of loud with everyone talking and kids sometimes crying. But overall, you always leave this place full and satisfied. I like the variety of food they offer so I can’t really complain.

The atmosphere is pretty crowded and loud. I had to ask a man twice if he could move his chair so that I could get back to my table. But nonetheless the food was fantastic. They have a sushi bar with all kinds of sushi and sashimi. I wish I could have gotten more, but I wanted to try all the other food first. They have a large seafood selection, and their crab legs are delicious! In the words of a random Spongebob episode, their crabs had«big, meaty clawsss!» Overall, this is a great place to go for a casual dinner at. Hoping I can come back soon, so I can try all the other food that I didn’t get to taste.

Super chaotic inside, when you walk in there is a sign that says wait to be seated but… you need to walk up to someone at the register and get a ticket w a number to be seated. We were seated at a table with 6 chairs and it was only my BF and I having dinner together. all the tables are right next to each other so expect to hear everyone’s conversations. Chinese food was good, the sushi does not look fresh so I passed on that. The desert section is at a corner next to Mongolian grill, not the best variety at all, very disappointed.

Five stars! Met up with my mom at this buffet I’ve been here several times in the past but I’ve never had the dinner and o m g… All day on Veterans Day(maybe other holidays too) they served their dinner buffet with snow crab legs(which I don’t eat due to an overeating snow crab leg at morongo’s seafood buffet over a year ago) and the best BEST fried garlic crab … They also have it with shrimp too BOTHSODELICIOUS… I literally had a dream about eating this crab again and if you love spicy with garlic And crab this is your place to try. The crab and shrimp were so crunchy and full of meat!(those crabs were so plump) they also have a fresh sushi bar… Even bowls of sashimi buffet style. I was skeptical trying it but I did because it did look fresh(fresher then the packaged sushi at the grocery stores) I decided to go for it and it was really good too. They have the usual Chinese/seafood buffet mayo butter covered mussels and orange chicken, chow mein and etc. All of which looked good but I strictly stuck to the sashimi and crab and shrimp –all is worth the 12.99 per person … My family loves to come here and now I know why! I will definitely come back for my garlic crab!!!

Was in the mood for Chinese and thought I’d give this place a shot… The food was okay, nothing that blew me away. There is a huge selection of sushi and seafood, I just was not a fan of the cafeteria style seating and the food was not worth the price. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Was in the mood for sushi and found this buffet. For $ 8.29 I thought, how could I go wrong? Well, first off it was kinda chaotic walking inside, people just standing around everywhere behind a sign that says wait to be seated. The host /manager waved me over and I said I was just by myself and as I was started to be taken to a table, he stopped and said that another group was ahead of me and took me back to wait. OK So once I sit at a table, I ask for a glass of water. I head over to the sushi bar and everything looked pretty good. I grabbed a few pieces to try out, grabbed some wasabi and ginger and headed back to my table. Also note the tables are all packed next to each other, so you will be almost sharing a table. So bow I have no soy sauce, nobody is around, so I had to ask the table next to me if I could borrow theirs. Now onto the food. The sushi was ok, some of it was way too warm to where it did not taste good. Worst part was there was a long hair on one of my pieces! So done with that, I tried the orange chicken, it was hard and dry like its been under the heat lamp all day. The spicy chicken was pretty good, green beans were ok, the vegetable tempura that just came out was cold. Overall I did not really enjoy anything. It was packed, so I was thinking that they were going through a lot of food and everything would be fresh, nope. For the price for lunch, your best bet is to wait for fresh sushi to be put out and just get a plate and try a few things and see if they are fresh and go back and get some more. If I did crave sushi and stumbled across this place again, I might try it again, but overall I would just avoid it.

My mom and dad swore this was the best buffet ever so we decided to eat here for mothers day lunch. After driving about 50 miles to get here we finally arrived at about 1pm and waited about 30 minutes to get seated for a table of 7. After waiting they finally sat us all the way in the back on a 3 tables that were connected and was shared with a party of 3 next to us. The food was good. My first round I went to the area where they cooked the noodles in front of us, got some sushi, sashimi and some coconut shrimp and it all tasted good except the shrimp. 2nd round I got baked lobster, crab legs, egg drop soup, and a lot more sushi and sashimi. All which tasted great. The wait for the baked lobster took some time since thats what everyone was there for. I actually kinda wish the lobster was steamed and not baked. 3rd round was dessert and fruit. I got some soft serve ice cream and some bananas, oranges, and grapes. All which tasted great. The food here wasnt top notch but was better than your average Chinese buffet. The reason im knocking off 1 star was for the customer service. The waitress’s here are like at any other buffets. They dont really pay any attention to you unless your paying the bill. The cost for mothers day lunch was $ 15.99/person which was reasonable. ill definitely be back.

Price range: Lunch(Monday-Friday): $ 7.99 Dinner(Monday-Friday): 12.99 Lunch/Dinner(Saturday and Sunday): $ 13.99 Environment: There was plenty of seating. There are long tables everywhere so the wait wasn’t too bad. You may have to sit right next to another family, but other than that seating is decent. I do have to say that this wasn’t the cleanest place I’d want to be eating at. There was food all over the floor and there were some bugs inside which really irks me. I found myself have to swat little flies and bugs away from my food. Service: They have a lot of waiters so the service was pretty good. It was almost guaranteed that someone would walk by every five minutes or so if you needed anything. Food: I loved that they were CONSTANTLY refilling the food. So I knew that things were always fresh and available whenever I came back for more. The food overall was pretty decent. Not bad for the price you pay. They have a sushi bar, Mongolian bbq area, Chinese food, the usual fruits and pastries, and a good amount of seafood. 4 stars for the good food and good price. Minus 1 star for the cleanliness of the overall restaurant.
