This was probably the worst AYCE sushi venue I have ever been to. I understand that your establishment is small and that the staff may be overwhelmed at peak hours, but the service was one of the worst I have experienced, and there really is no excuse for poor service. We were sitting close to the sushi bar, so I would hear the chefs yelling out which orders go to which table– it makes the ambiance very chaotic and unpleasant. The wait staff for the most part just seem really stressed out most of the time, trying to get each order to the correct table– maybe they should figure out a way to organize the AYCE orders. They also messed up our orders so many times, I don’t even want to count. It’s like we didn’t exist in the establishment: first, I could tell that my order of baked salmon roll had been previously frozen and reheated, as I could tell that when I was biting into it, pieces of cold hard rice would fall off of the seaweed. It was disgusting but I ate it, because I didn’t want to get charged if I left it, and they were too busy to seem like they’d care. They also left off two rolls from our first order and when I asked if they could make these rolls for us, one of the waiters said«can you just write it on the 2nd order and we will make it?». Um, no, because I asked for it on the first order. Well, he asked me to write it down again and so I did, but it still took quite some time for it to come out, and I had to remind them again. Third, my friend had ordered a vegetable tempura roll, and we came to find out that there was fried fish in it. He is vegetarian, and luckily a very laid back person, so he didn’t mind(but of course didn’t finish it), but I thought it was incredibly negligent on the chef’s part to include fish in this mix of what is supposed to be a vegetarian roll. So I let them know, and they gave us two pieces of ice cream mochi as a service… which I don’t think is sufficient, but we took it. I also think it was great that although they would ignore my friend and I for the most part, once we were ready to leave after the receipt was signed, they snatched it up right away to make sure everything was written, totaled, and signed right before we went out the door… Great service right there. I would never go back nor would I recommend it to anyone I know. The only redeeming part of this experience is that the chefs did apologize for the fish in the vegetarian roll.

We came here twice and the first thing you notice are the hand written rules about All You Can Eat because maybe 1 or at most 2 people have abused it. When I go out to dinner I don’t want to know about your financial issues and your profit/loss centers. Here’s what I mean: we ordered and I didn’t order a bento box but he brought out 3 miso soups. I said oh that’s nice implying he must be giving a soup on the house. As I was half way done the server came over and realized and said you didn’t order that and he gestured to take it away. I said thats fine take it away. He grunted and carried on. He took away something he has to dump for $ 1.50! It took forever to get the check and about 5 seconds after I wrote a tip of zero another server grabbed the receipt off the table. That’s just plain awkward. You should retrieve this after a guest leaves. Overall the good is really good but the service is unbelievably terrible.

Food: AYCE. good. My favorite was Cajun tuna. Sauce made it good too. Their birthday song and special is pretty special and worth coming. It was my birthday. They sang to me and served me fried ice cream. Was yummy. Service: our server was okay. It started off with him giving us someone else’s food before we even ordered our water. We didn’t get 3 of our dishes for the first round. The female waiters are more attentive and faster. Hostess is nice. We had to ask for things multiple times. We caught them at their busy hour. This was the busiest I’ve ever seen them. Then again this was my first on a Friday night. Our last round we were still missing some items but we just ended up leaving cause the sushi chefs were cleaning. We didn’t want to get possible contaminated food. They’re REALLY good at removing your dishes though. Lol There’s a trainee named Kristen who I noticed had great service. Her mannerisms and everything just makes it more pleasant as a customer she’ll be a really good addition to the team. I mean she already is.

Been here couple times with friends at different times of business hours and I feel the service is not great. I have noticed they are always short of servers and everyone is running around. Not friendly either except maybe 2 servers were nice. They told us that they won’t be taking orders for 30 minuets. The food was okay but I probably won’t go back to this place again.

Even though they were quite busy for Valentines Day, they provided excellent service and great food. I recommend the Viking roll or Golden Tiger roll. If you order the Viking, be sure to bring a fire extinguisher: wink:

This morning this place would have gotten five stars. But now i will never ever go back. Due too the horrible service we received from the sushi bar chef we will never be going there again. Every other time i have been in there they have accommodated my food allergies but tonight i was basically told too bad we are too busy.

Went in at 8:25 and had no service for 10 minutes, at which time I was informed that they were not taking orders for another 20 minutes. It’s a shame because I’ve been here before and have never had an issue.

Ate here today and I loved it! All the food was great, as was the service. It did seem like the server was ready for us to leave but I loved every bite of my food:) I will be back and will bring friends :) there was a perfect amount of rice to fish ratio and the sauce was great!

AMAZINGSUSHI!!! Being the big eater I am, i go with the all you can eat. The rolls and sashimi are great, best part is that the quality doesn’t decrease with each round you order. My favorite roll would be the popcorn crawfish/lobster, definitely a starter for me. Great atmosphere, Tony is a great guy to converse with. Hello Sushi is in my top 5 sushi spots.

On January 1st went to Hello Sushi after visiting my nephew’s grave in Redlands. The group I was with all ordered All You Can Eat Sushi for $ 20.99. I wasn’t feeling well and ordered the Udon Shrimp Noodles and a CA roll. The waitress brought the Tepan veggies that came with the meal and reprimanded and essentially accused me of eating my other family members all you can eat sushi– which I was NOT! I explained, but she never listened. I WASHUMILIATED…, and worst, she didn’t apologize… Not the kind of service every customer deserves. I will NEVER go back!

The best is all I can day. With the new management I had a love hate relationship but now they seem to have it all together now. I’m addicted to this place and I believe it’s the best sushi in a 50 mile radius.

I’ve been here multiple times and almost every time I get the AYCE. The quality is pretty decent for the price. I usually can’t do more than 1 baked roll. I find them to be somewhat heavy. Some of my favorites include: oyster shooter, sashimi salad, tempura vegetables, cherry blossom, spicy tuna/salmon hand rolls, tuna/salmon/yellow tail/scallop sushi. Make sure you save room for the green tea ice cream.

Disclaimer: this review is for the ayce sushi, not the lunch specials or Korean food they offer! Food — 2 Ambience — 2 Service — 3 Price — 2 Overall — 2.25 Food– been to a lot of ayce sushi places in the past, this is definitely one of the lower quality ones. Fish to rice ratio was average at best, but mostly overloaded on rice. The variety of rolls is really the same base roll with the same sauce and maybe different fish on top. The sauces overpower anything else they have to offer. While the fish doesn’t have a fishy scent, it is definitely not fresh like others have claimed. The nigiri wasn’t impressive, same issues with fish texture, color and proportions. They don’t have red snapper either. Ambience — nothing special about it, but my goodness the tables are close together. Noise level average to high. They do have these little tea rooms off to the side, but they don’t get used! Servers — friendly enough albeit a bit on the slow side. It wasn’t busy when we went in so there shouldn’t be plates stacking on our small table. Service itself was average Price– 25 $ for ayce. Which seems normal, except the selection is pretty limited and they even limit what you can order. Pretty sure ayce means something other than what they have in mind. Usually ayce is 3 rounds. They only offer 2. If you’re looking for a good sushi place, I’d give this one a pass. The Korean food smelled good, so if anything, give their lunch specials a try.

I asked a clerk at the grocery store for a good sushi restaurant(I’m in town for work) and he said come here because the fish is ‘so fresh!‘ When I drove up I was hesitant… not what I expected. But coming inside you can tell this is a family run place with lots of authentic charm. I ordered the AYCE per recommendation of the sushi chef who proceeded to lay out anything I wanted… including more expensive nigiri options. I don’t know how they make margins on this? Overall great experience… fresh sushi, friendly family feel and cheap!!! It’s like an anomaly for a sushi place

Really friendly environment. Owner remembers every time we come in and greets us with a friendly welcome and continues to check up on us during the meal cracking a few jokes every so often. He also brings us special rolls that we must try out. All you can eat is definitely worth it. I feel like the only time I eat sushi is if it is all you can eat. More for your money. Only little complaint is the fact that they tend to stretch the wait time in between rounds causing us to get full on air and water. Aside from that, the sushi to rice ratio is fairly decent. Best to start of your meal with that and a couple hand rolls. Work on the heavier and deep fried rolls after you’re warmed up on sushi. And leave the 3rd round open for some defensive work. Don’t want to be stuck paying for extra sushi that you couldn’t finish…
