The Flame Broiler

Yuck! My son’s favorite food is chicken with rice and brown sauce (any version of terriyaki sauce) so we decided to go to Flame Broiler. I love their spicy red sauce, that was good. But everything else was yucky! The rice was so gooey you could hardly get it out of the bowl with your fork, the chicken and steak both tasted like a day away from rotten and then burnt on top of that. The carrots were so under cooked it was basically like eating them raw (not that there is anything wrong with raw carrots, I love them in fact but that’s not what you want when expecting cooked carrots!). I’m hoping none of us end up sick from this meal. I don’t think I will ever go back.

Love it here and come here all the time on my lunch break! I like that they do the 5 star reward system so you can earn free meals. Fast and friendly all the time! Wish there was one closer to my job but this place is great and worth the 10 minute drive.

Simple menu:
Chicken, beef, or both: Vegetables or no: White, brown, or no rice.
They call the chicken and beef one *The Works*
Size wise: Mini Bowl, Bowl, or Plate. The Works only for Bowl and Plate sizes.
The secret soy sauce is plain. The red hot sauce is mostly vinegar. The green hot sauce is hot.

I always have a great experience every time I stop by. Food, quality and service are always superb. The chicken plate is my favorite. It includes a teriyaki style chicken, choice of brown or white rice, a small salad and sliced oranges. A healthier alternative to fast food at a great price. Highly recommend flame broiler.

Best flame broiler location I’ve been to. Excellent service, food is cooked/​prepped properly and not to mention clean.

In this price range, flame broiler is really the best fast food asian chain there is.
This location is no exception. Healthy and simple menu, fresh meat, and most of all, their rice is on point. I usually never get fast food-​style asian food but i feel pretty good about getting flame broiler.

Got my bowl and didn’t realize until I got to work that it was like a small child serving of food. Half full bowl of food for 7 bucks last time I go to this location

Fast, friendly service. Healthy options. And they don’t get mad if you want to customize your order.
I wish they were open past 9 p.m., but I will say that I have arrived just before 9 many times and have never been turned away. And they never have given me any trouble for eating in the dining room there past 9 p.m.
I order my food without sauce, but if you’re into sugary sauces, they have some good ones.
It’s a standard bowl restaurant, but I pick this one over Panda Express and Yoshinoya all the time.

First of all, I’m a huge fan of the Flame Broiler. This particular one has the freshest tasting chicken and beef. Don’t believe me? Try the bowls here and then compare them to another Flame Broiler and you will know I’m telling the truth. I’m here at least twice a month since they don’t have one in San Bernardino.
Very affordable and healthy! I usually get the half and half bowl with easy white or brown rice. You have to try the magic sauce. It’s so good.
They also have a rewards program so you get a point for every bowl or plate you purchase and after you reach 15 points, you get a free bowl. That’s awesome!
The owner is a very friendly guy and you will see him behind the counter preparing the orders. Sometimes the cashiers give off the «I don’t care about being here» vibe, but despite that I love coming to this Flame Broiler. It’s usually kept very clean.
Another reason why I love this particular Flame Broiler is you will always see the NBA and NFL games on their flat screen televisions. Bonus points for that.

The works bowl is very tasty. Didn’t try any of their sauces… no need for them. Restaurant and bathrooms seemed clean. Will definitely visit again.

I eat here at least once a week! The service is outstanding! The food is always fresh and tastes delicious! The owner is super nice and runs a clean and well managed restraunt. I call ahead and my order is always ready and waiting when I get there. The food is healthy compared to a lot of other fast food chains. I have tried a lot of other flame broilers and this one is by far the best!

Best beef bowl I’ve had yet in the Inland Empire. I ordered the beef bowl w/​white rice and my wife ordered the beef and veggie bowl w/​white rice. We did enjoy the beef however it was not as flavorful or tender as what we are used to eating at the Flame Broiler in Laguna Niguel, which seems to use higher quality meat. The magic sauce and red hot sauce are both super tasty and this new location is surprisingly spacious and clean with friendly customer service.

I ordered the Half and Half bowl with brown rice and green onions. Good flavor to the meat and very fulfilling especially after a work out. Clean eating does not have to taste bland. Great establishment. Clean restrooms. The Magic sauce is definitely magic as well as the hot sauce and green sauce. Can’t go wrong. Well maybe if you order a plate cause you’re basically paying extra for a little salad and an orange half. Lol.

Perfect for a healthy lunch option compared to eating fast food.
This is very affordable for the quality of food you’re getting. Your food is made to order and you can choose from either grilled chicken or angus beef over white or brown rice, and you also have the option to add veggies.
There’s plenty of seating here but I wouldn’t recommend it for dining with a large group during lunch hour on a weekday. But it’s great for to-​go orders and you can call your order ahead.
Parking might be tough to find especially if you come during lunch and the best way to get out of this plaza (whichever direction you’re headed) is to exit on Redlands Blvd instead of Alabama.
Overall, great grilled food, great price, easy-​to-​find.

Good new location
This is a chain that I have not tried but they are quick and have healthy and veggie options. The chicken was flavorful and tender dark meat. Beef was good as well. They got through about 50 orders in the 20:00 minutes I was there for lunch.
Recommended for takeout and quick food.
