ABODA Furnishings

The quality is hit or miss, but the prices are extremely cheap. There are also some dirty items for sale, which I think is strange, but again — the prices are insanely cheap. Like $ 25 for a lamp, $ 160 for a couch or bed. As little as $ 29 for a night stand or table. If you’re looking for cheap (i.e., you’re establishing yourself out in the world or are out of work, etc.), you’ve found your place.
That said, I wouldn’t buy a bed here, because sleep is too important to leave to an Aboda bed. They really make you hurt. Why pay $ 160 for a bed, then require expensive weekly chiropractor adjustments? Doesn’t make sense. Go to Bob’s in Redmond for a really good bed at amazing prices (both rich and poor people will find something awesome at Bobs)
The reason I’m writing a 5 star review review though is because unlike Aboda’s housing division, the two times I’ve been here the employees have always been super nice and spoke in normal, human language. They showed real empathy, and when I bought something, a super nice man named Steve R. even reduced the price a little so I didn’t have to give them change (without asking, btw!!). True Redmond kindness and hospitality here.
If all Aboda corp housing people acted like this at work, I’d love Aboda instead of hating them (Aboda corp insists on using weird corp speak, they won’t apologize for mistakes they make, will discriminate against you, etc — weirdo stuff)
They should run their corporate housing with the same humanity they run their thrift store. Everyone likes being treated kindly, and treated to like a valid fellow human being.

Very nice people! Excellent value for the money… I had an apartment that looked like I just moved out of my parents house although I’ve lived on my own for several years.
I was very impressed by how well the sales staff worked with me to find exactly what I was looking for! I ended up refurbishing both my living room and master bedroom for just under $ 800! Now my apartment feels like an established apartment.
Although this is lightly used furniture… I was able to look over every item I purchased. I am normally hesitant to make such a large purchase at one time, but before and after was such an extreme benefit, I will recommend them for anyone looking for reasonably priced furniture!
Note: their inventory changes so much that they will always something different in there each time you visit (I wend in there several times in a week to decide my whole purchase).
—I didn’t have anything to move the furniture with so I ended up renting a U-​Haul for the «day price», and picked up two guys from Home Depot to move the furniture. In the end I spent just under $ 975 from start to finish (including fees to take junk furniture to the dump)!

Great inventory and really affordable!

Real crap. I was told my sofa was a fold out. When I complained they told me «we don’t usually have those» as though that explained it (no offer of compensation though).
They also won’t take stuff back «it’s not our business model» they said.
Never, ever again :)
