Friday $ 5 fish sandwiches were great value. Alaskan pollock was delicious & fresh. Generous portion, tasty batter coating, excellent cole slaw. Sticky toffee pudding for dessert was lovely finish to lunch. $ 5 deal on Fridays until 4 pm, through April 30. Fresh lemon wedges & arugula/spring mix for garnish were nice touches on the sandwich platters. Great off-season choice.

Wifey treated me to lunch here for my Bday after a stroll through Rehoboth. The Maryland Crab Soup was excellent as were the crab balls and buffalo chicken wings. The service was swift and friendly, the prices reasonable. Definitely recommend!

Artsy spot to grab food to go or to dine in. Loved the staff! I recommend the clam chowder. The clam chowder is perfectly seasoned and just the right amount of cream!

Four stars for the food! I got the fish and Caesar to go(same price as a fish and chips), with a side of tandoori mushy peas. The fish was quite sizeable and flaky, however didn’t taste fresh to me(pre-frozen?). The batter thick and very crispy, not your typical fried fish; although a bit more oily than I would have liked, it was tasty and hey… what do you expect with fried! The salad was nothing special, with just parmesan and no Caesar dressing. The service was quick(I got my food in about 5 minutes). But the host touched the eating side of all of my plasticware before handing them to me. Maybe this was an off day. Worth stopping by!

Had Unilocal coupon but they would not honor. Asked for manager alison who was conveniently not there. Staff generally rude. I guess they feel fine being rude to customers when a busy holiday weekend. Avoid!

Seemed like the perfect place for fish and chips, well sort of. Fish was good, not the best we ever had(Federal Jacks, Kennebunk Maine!) the«chips» on the other had were absolutely the worst we ever had. They seemed like they were prepared well in advance waiting for the evening rush, or they used the twice fried method but forgot to do the second fry. We didn’t send back because we were on a time line. Besides, if you can’t get fries right the first time, why bother. We started with a Caesar salad. Nice crisp cold romaine, boxed croutons, nicely dressed and«sprinkled» with parm, not very impressive for $ 7. Service was good. I’m sure there are better places for fish and chips in Rehoboth.

Best beer battered fish I’ve ever had. The batter is crispy, but has a nice chew too. The Alaskan pollack is generous and flaky. The fries are good. Not as good as Thrasher’s next door, but pretty good. It’s a little on the greasy side, but that’s to be expected. The battered chicken was unexpectedly awesome too. Same batter, and the chicken came out juicy. Great place to get good food on the boardwalk.

As a former England study abroad student I can tell you that these fish & chips are completely authentic! Delicious, crispy, and as one of my friends described it «like butter.» The place is cute, has British décor. The staff is polite but a bit slow. The prices are decent especially considering the portion sizes! Would definitely return.

This is one of those places we hit at least once every time we’re in Rehoboth. Of course we get the fish and chips every time, and the«Go Fish Cocktail» is a great citrusy drink after a long day on the beach. This is a great place for kids. We had our two toddlers who were sometimes a little rambunctious, and the staff was always smiling and courteous.

Overall a good experience. Arrived around 4pm was seated directly. The place never filled up while we were there. It’s a very small place, maybe 10 to 15 tables for four. A few Brit style beers on tap. They definitely could have done better in the drinks. Very limited selection, no bar. Fish and chips were crispy as ordered. Good. Nothing special about either. Crab cakes(2) were meaty. Probably not enough for a big guy but a good meal. Crab soup was excellent. About 22 dollars per person with drinks.

Stopped in for lunch when visiting rehoboth beach. Nice and convenient location very close to the boardwalk and accessible from the main road leading in to the beach/boardwalk. Of course, I came in looking for some awesome fish and chips! The fish part was very good — large piece of moist, flaky fish, dressed in(greasy but) flavorful batter. The chips were… ehh. I have had much better fries in other places. Though I did manage to spice em up by adding some vinegar and extra salt — then they were yummier but kinda soggy. I think the chips were missing crispness. The dipping sauce was yummy though kind of rich and the cole slaw was also quite good. Décor was also cute — loved the british theme and beer glasses. Not dying to come back but happy to come if I get fish and chip craving and am in the area.

Middle of the road is my rating. It is OK for a quick bite to satisfy your craving for fried fish. Went there to pick up a late lunch one day because I’ve always wanted to try what everyone raves about… the fish ‘n chips. Service was prompt and friendly… Resraurant was empty even though it was a rainy Saturday during the Summer. The food came out quick and was excited to dig in so I actually stayed to eat. First off, the fish was absolutely perfect! Large filet, batter dipped, and fried to a perfect golden brown and crisp. Very little residual grease as well. Honestly, I doubt a British Chef’s mother could have made it any better. The ‘chips’ though, were the real disappointment however. They were the correct size for traditional English chips, but that’s where tradition stops. I know true ‘chips’ should be crispy. They weren’t…they were soft, limp, and tasteless. What a shame! How could a cook treat a piece of fish so well(which is quite a bit more difficult) and flop so badly on a simple chip(french fry)? *heavy sigh* Ah well… I’m sure I’ll try it again if for nothing else than the fish. I am very curious about their other offerings as well… Especially the sticky toffee pudding. I’ll update on my next visit… hopefully the chips will do Great Britain a bit more justice that time.

I come here every time I’m in the Rehoboth area. It’s really become a family tradition for either lunch or dinner. Of course we always order the fish & chips. Never a complaint about the service or the food, service always comes with a smile.

We went already three times to this location: Pros: Well-priced generous portion of fantastic fish & chips! The fish is extremely fresh and fried to perfection. Paired with the malt vinegar and the slice of lemon on top: yummy! For a healthier option, you can substitute their delicious French fries for a salad at no charge. Their cole slaw is not greasy and flavorful. The service is prompt and nice. The restaurant is kid-friendly. The location is great near the boardwalk. Cons: As a starter, the fried clams were average. You could barely taste the seafood. The flavor was mostly the batter.

This is the place that turned me from«ho-hum» about the stuff into a regular fish & chips nut complete with Cockney accent. Beautiful, huge flakey filets of Alaskan Pollock coated in a crispy golden brown beer batter with a side of chips and mushy peas has officially joined my repertoire of beach treats. Granted, most of my fish & chip experience comes from Arthur Treacher’s(where I worked for a while as a teenager) but Go Fish is far beyond any I’ve had or made at home. I love the décor from the faux callbox front door all the way down to the«Underground» graphics and branded napkin rings. If I had to complain about something, and I always do, I find it a bit too snug in there– specially if there’s a lunch crowd and we’re not lucky enough to get a booth. Unfortunately, loud kids are an all too common occurrence in the relatively small space. We always try to avoid mid day.

Go Fish is a British restaurant located right off the beach on the main strip in Rehoboth. It is decorated dubiously like a London tube station, but is run by an actual Brit. There is a menu of sandwiches, burgers and standard pub grub, but they are famous for their Fish & Chip so that is what we ordered. They offer a Caesar salad as a substitute, but we stuck with chips(ordinary, not very crispy French Fries.) The fish is one large filet, fried a perfect golden brown, and my wife found it very good. I actually ordered the Chicken & Chips, which were good, the frying left the chicken very tender and moist. There were many drinks offered on the menu, but we stuck with soda. This is a perfectly fine place to go, whether it fits in with a tourist town or not.

I don’t mind telling you that the price is a tad off-putting– but the quality is great! I had the Fish and Caesar(not chips). The fish? Terrific. Crispy batter, doesn’t feel overly greasy. This British themed 12 foot wide restaurant also features an American favorite– Buffalo wings! We tried them– almost perfect taste, but slightly too hot for two of the three of us. Cheers !!!
