Burger Me

Had previously ordered a cheeseburger slider and it was ok. Decided to get something different and ordered the fried fish sandwich and sweet potato fries. Extremely underwhelming all around. Basically had to drown each bite in ranch just to get some flavor. Not sure if I’ll return after two meh experiences.

My boyfriend and our little one were in there just last night for Memorial Day, let me say, food was great! Last time we visited this place it was Tahoe Burger. (More than 4 years ago). The food will definitely speak for itself and will show its quality when one considers the prices!
There is always room to improve though, customer service, if the restaurant focuses on that everything (I am assuming) would run much better.
The good: one of the employees helped my boyfriend with the food out as my daughter and I were sitting outside, loved that!
The not so good: as soon as we arrived we could tell they were understaffed… Which happens! But, if it would of been addressed I think all of us in line would of accepted waiting in line a little better. Being someone that has worked in customer service, the customer would rather know what is going in the just waiting there.
Other than that, great place! We will definitely be coming back!

Three stars is a stretch… it’s actually about 2.5. I go once a month or so because it’s convenient, but usually – not every time, but more often than not – I’m disappointed. Today’s hamburger was overcooked, dry and served at room temperature on a room temperature, slightly stale bun. The lettuce was floppy and the tomato slice pinky-​orange (tough time of year for fresh tomatoes, but still…). The bun was dry, with condiments available at a side table but no space to apply them. I’ve been here five or six times, and the quality has ranged from pretty darn good to «how does this place stay open?»
Service was slow but friendly, and the garlic fries were great.

I’ve only been through the drive though window. You can definitely tell the food is made to order, as it takes forever depending on who is in front of you. Personally, I would rather have hot and yummy food rather than quick and crappy.

It’s been a while since I have been back to burger me but I was very disappointed last time I went for what I got for dinner was way overpriced for how it tasted. Don’t think I’ll be back there for a long time

Gotta hand it to these guys always amazing food! Had a line of customers at closing time and helped every single one patiently :) Thank you Burger Me! Love the cookies and cream shakes and the bison burgers ! Not to mention the sweet potato fries !

We stop here everytime we come to Reno. Burgers are delicious, especially the stuffed specials of the week. Garlic fries are delicious, especially when you dip them in their ranch that has dill in it… Yum!
My only complaint, they don’t have a baby changing table in the bathroom. I never understood that about restaurants, they have high chairs, they have a kids menu, but no changing tables in the bathrooms. Please put one in for all the parents out there, thank you!

I was contacted by the manager Jordan after my last review, and offered a gift card in hopes of a better review. I have to say, our experience with the food was much better this time. I had the same burger as last time, and it was much better, cooked the way I like it, and it seemed to fit the bun much better. I like a basic burger, cheese, burger, lettuce, mustard, and that’s what I got. We got the fries this time, and they were WAY better than the onion rings, not greasy at all.
My husband got the Italian Stallion, and it was massive, with huge amounts of meat, almost too much too eat. In fact, he had to take some of the lettuce off in order to fit his mouth around it. He liked it very much, and we both had enough left over to have another meal.
The only thing I noticed was the customer service was still lacking. I had confirmed a few weeks ago with Jordan that the gift card was there. We couldn’t make it in then, (they weren’t open when we were in the area,) and when we got there, they couldn’t find the gift card. By the time Jordan got it, there was a big line, and we ended up having to go to the end of it, even though there wasn’t a line when we initially got there. It would have been nice if they would have recognized that we had been there ahead of everyone, and let us order.
Also, Jordan never came by to find out how our meals were, or if we were happy. If I knew that someone had had an unhappy experience, and had offered them a gift card, I certainly would have made it a priority to make sure they were happy!!! I saw another reviewer who said that they saw cobwebs in the restaurant, and he asked her to take down the review! I guess he is more worried about negative reviews, rather than following up on experiences in the flesh. He was very «laid back,» and while the customer service was friendly, it wasn’t friendly in the way that said they truly cared, it was more perfunctory, that they were doing it, but they didn’t look you in the eye, or really care. You can tell when people really care about their customers, and when they’re just going through the motions, and here, it seems they’re just going through the motions. Does that make sense?
So, the food was much better, and the experience wasn’t bad, per se, but my husband and I both agreed, that the next time we visit my doctor, we’d go to Flowing Tide, where the food is good, and the people are much more fun to visit with!

I’m sorry, but am I the only one that noticed inside their restaurant it’s filthy?! I will not be coming back ever. No one has cleaned the restaurant in who knows how long. The floors were slippery because it has what seemed like grease from the kitchen and I noticed cob webs in the corner table we were sitting. DISGUSTING.

The staff was ok the service was ok. The food was ok. The owner… Well not very mature because he left me a message to take down this review and used my own home as examples of his restaurant. Jordan be more mature. You’re an owner and should address problems instead of fight you’re customers about the cleanliness of you’re restaurant.

Yummy yummy to my tummy! For lunch on the week days the crew at CoAuto shop, always enjoy some Burger Me for lunch. We are always satisfied with every bite.

I happened to have been staying at the Hampton Inn across the street and was able to walk here to grab dinner. They have a lot of options for burgers – beef, turkey, ahi, and more– so you can be as burger traditional or creative as you want. They even offer 3 types of bun: white, wheat, and gluten-​free.
I ordered the ahi burger on wheat with the garlic fries on the side. If you order a combo, you get a smaller size of fries than if you order the basket but I still had plenty of fries for myself. The ahi burger gets messy toward the end because of the cole slaw and sriracha sauces. All in all, this was very tasty, on my top 5 list of favorite places to get a burger in the country. Will certainly be back here!

I definitely love a Burger Me burger. And Burger Me fries. This is just a great place. I soooo wish they would put another location in South Reno, but it’s definitely worth the trip to the Northwest — especially since they’re conveniently located right off the freeway.
My personal favorites: the Southwest Turkey Burger, the Lamb Burger, and the Ahi Burger. I have tried lots of them, and they’re all great, juicy, fresh burgers with tons of toppings… but those are definitely my favorites. But I can’t have a Burger Me burger without fries. It’s always a hard decision between the garlic fries and the sweet potato fries, so do yourself a favor and go with a friend and order both! And don’t forget to order a variety of dipping sauces! Your car might smell like garlic for a couple of days because they definitely don’t skimp on the garlic… but it’s totally worth it!
The service at Burger Me is also fast and friendly. The last time I went through the drive-​through, I ordered and moved forward in line and regretted not ordering 1 more basket of fries for the group I was meeting. I called on my cell phone while in line, and the cashier laughed as I added another basket of fries to my order, and had everything ready for me by the time I got up to the window.
The restaurant is great, and the food truck is equally as great.

Today was a «protein only» day for me, so I got a lettuce wrapped Italian Stallion — ¹⁄₃ lb beef patty, salami, mortadella, provolone, hot boston peppers and cabernet vinaigrette. So much flavor! Love it!
This was the «featured burger» on the menu — apparently, it was highly recommended by Guy Fieri from Diners, Dives and Drive Ins. Glad to report it’s legit! I’ll be coming back again to try out the fries on a carb day.

This is one of my favorite burger places in Reno. There are a wide variety of customizable burgers that are all great and provide something for everybody. Want your burger as a lettuce wrap? Done. Want some tasty Garlic Fries? Done. Want to get something from their drive through? Done (though it is cooked to order so it’ll take a little while longer than most places with a drive through).
My wife and I come here with friends and family so our party regularly includes a gluten free person, a dairy free person, and a vegetarian and they have all been able to find something they enjoyed a lot. I regularly get their Southwest Turkey Burger and love it. Their Sweet Potato Fries are really good. We’ll get Sweet Potato Fries and Regular Fries with the intent to share but we struggle to share once they show up. Their Shakes are really good, though we try to not get them too often otherwise I’d need to get to the gym a lot more (Or get new pants).
The staff is friendly and the environment is fun. It is a great burger joint and if you are looking for somewhere to go in Reno or on your way though, I couldn’t recommend this place more.

I had really high expectations, but I was disappointed.
I guess I was expecting something a little different, and less of a fast food atmosphere. I should have read the other reviews a bit more carefully as I guess I was expecting table service rather than order at the counter. On the evening I was there, it wasn’t as clean as it could have been.
The counter staff were very friendly and helpful. The burger was large and made of fresh meat, with a substantial bun that held together while I ate. There was a healthy serving of lettuce and tomato on top. I had it pretty plain, and the taste was. .. .. . OK. The meat was a little on the dry side (I ordered medium rare) and not a lot of steaky flavor.
I thought the fries were just. .. .. .. OK. I got the plain fries which were made from real potatoes, but were a bit limp. Not the crispy crunchy way I like fries.
I opted not to have a beer with my burger and got a lemonade instead. It was a standard, from a mix lemonade. Should have had a beer.
So — would I come back? If I happened to be in that part of town, maybe. I would not make it a special trip and I found trying to get to the restaurant was a bit challenging. But it was night, it was dark, and I was not familiar with that part of town. I just felt it really wasn’t worth the hassle.

My favorite place to get a burger. Everything is local and delicious. You get plenty of burger for the price too. There is a burger for everyone there, from lamb to buffalo. Try the train wreck with a side of sweet potato fries. Don’t forget the chipotle mayo.
The staff is always happy to see you, and the food is fast even for a gourmet burger.

If you are burnt-​out on the burger options around Reno than this is the place for you. Burger Me offers a variety of burgers that I have not seen anywhere else. I have tried many different burgers here and have not once been disappointed.
One of the most unique and biggest selling point for this place is the fact that all of their beef is hormone and antibiotic free. They pride themselves on using meats that come from local and humane sources like Reno Provisions and Sierra Meats. I know that a lot of people wouldn’t care where their meats come from but I for one feel much better about eating this type of food.
I strongly recommend giving the Italian Stallion a try! Probably one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. I also really enjoy trying whatever their special stuffed burger is for that day. Bison burger is another popular choice. If you are feeling adventurist and want to go all out, try the Dirty Bird, it has chili and a fried egg. I was skeptical about it but have absolutely no regret. Burger Me also offers a variety of french fries that are unmatched anywhere else: regular, onion rings, garlic, and sweet potato.
The atmosphere in here is spot on. It is very clean and welcoming. They have booths, tall tables, smaller tables and outdoor patio seating. There is even a flat screen TV hanging up so that you wont miss your favorite games. Have kids? they have that covered too with their arcade games and ice-​cream. For the adults they have a really nice selection of beers, both local and domestic.
The employees here are have all been exceptional. Customer service and friendliness of the staff will guarantee to exceed your burger joint expectations. Joe is always a pleasure to talk to and he does such a great job to make sure everybody has 5 star experience.
Side note: They have a food truck that can always be found at Food Truck Friday down at Idlewild Park. It’s almost guaranteed to have one of the biggest lines and there is good reason why.

We’ve eaten at the Truckee Burger Me and this Reno location is just as yummy.
Clean and well organized, service was friendly and answered all questions.
We ordered a turkey burger with avocado, 2 kids burgers and fries. Everything was very good and came out in a quick amount of time.
I’d eat there again.

Cool, sunny day, and daughter and I came here for the first time today.
We were helped at the counter by Jordan, who was informative and helpful,
And did it all with a smile.
The sweet potato fries were well seasoned,
I had the delicious caprese burger special on a pretty tasty gluten free bun,
And the kids burger was the right size for the child.
The chocolate ice cream/​chocolate chip was outstanding!
