Subway

Food is ok for Subway food. Problem I have is they close early all the time, talking like 2.5 hours early… Attitudes of employees is pretty horrible as well. That may be due to the fact that they have way too few employees working during busy times. Probably won’t be going back to this subway.

Around 7:30 last night I was ready for dinner. I’m staying at the Resident Inn right next to this location so I figured I could go for a sandwich. But, when I got to this Subway the doors were locked and the open sign was turned off. The girl standing behind the counter just looked at me. It was only 8:00pm yet it clearly states on the door and on here that they don’t close until 9:00pm. It’s very unprofessional to close early when hours state otherwise. Service could not be acquired, so I was very disappointed.

Quality of food is what I expect from any Subway but I would prefer to not get an attitude from an employee when asking about different types of sandwiches.

I do not often go to a subway but have gone twice this last week.
This was my second stop of the week.
After enjoying the sandwich I got earlier in the week I decided to stop in here to take home lunch.
Once again three people on the line, two to make and one check out. Each were friendly with smiles all around.
This sandwich was not quite the same as the one earlier in the week even though I ordered the exact same thing. I am not saying it was bad but the ratios were off a bit where the meats and cheese were less pronounced in flavour. If I had not had the perfect blend earlier I probably would have not noticed and would definitely stop in here again.

Day trip out to Reno and needed something quick and healthy. Found a subway less than a mile away… oh so convenient.
Plenty of parking in the lot… friendly service… they weren’t skimpy on the veggies.
My usual order? Chicken breast on flatbread… spinach, tomatoes, olives, mustard, onions, avocado, salt and pepper. Good to go.

Background — I got a coupon for a free breakfast sandwich from United Blood Services for donating. I have never been to Subway for breakfast.
Atmosphere — Never been to this location but it is close to the office. It was empty just the guy behind the counter, until a police officer came after I started my order. The place was clean and neat. The strip mall has ample parking for the morning crowd, gets crowded for the lunch and the evening.
Food
Appetizer — really it is a fast food place for breakfast.
Main Course — Went with the black forest ham breakfast sandwich. The eggs for the sandwich were pre-​cooked in a bin on the workstation line had no taste. I went with pepper jack cheese which was the only thing that really had a good taste. The sandwich was warmed up to the point the wheat bread was all most toast. The end of the sub where the meat, cheese, and egg was lacking was like how I would image eating brown dense Styrofoam would taste like. The ham was flat, and I am talking about the taste of it.
Dessert — I don’t eat dessert after finishing my main course of breakfast.
Service — I was greeted nicely when I walked into the place. After that I got attitude. Since I never ate breakfast there I was having a hard time finding the items on the board. So I asked what they had for breakfast sandwiches, and he just pointed to spots on the boards. Great that was a lot of help. So I handed him the coupon for the sandwich when cashing out, but he never asked if I wanted a drink, I think he was more focused on the customer that walked in after me.

This place has one thing going for it. Great service from the guy who helped me out. He made the sandwich how I wanted it.
Will I go back?
Usually I don’t do Subway but this experience makes me open to going back.
Will I recommend it to others?
Yes…for the service alone. Of course I have no idea what the others may do… but that guy… he was cool.
