THIS Subway is one of a kind, both food and people. I like Subway because of the fresh veg and fresh bread. Their subs aren’t a pound of salami and cheese with one pepperoncini and a half cup of oily dressing. The manager — who is ridiculously young and exquisitely good looking and named Brian — provides leadership that shows in the food, the immaculate store and the neighborhood feel. It really is special. Once I left my dead phone there, which I couldn’t call to find because, of course, it was dead. He was charging it in the office when I went by — charging it! My son has a severe stutter when he’s nervous but they wait patiently while he orders for us. We made the mistake of trying other locations and left. My son said «You know, at the other Subway they are very understanding.» Yes, they are. They certainly are.
