I do love their martinis here and usually the happy hour menu is delicious. I went there last night and we ordered the bang bang shrimp and it wasn’t like it use to be, it was overly sauced, the breaking that’s suppose to be on the shrimp was falling off, and the sauce was much darker than usual, they did not taste how they usually did which was good. I would always finish the shrimp but not this time. We also ordered the ceviche which I loved here and it has totally changed(not for the better) the scallops were very fishy and it was all lettuce and some peppers in it and it did not taste like ceviche and the«chips» they served with it did not taste good. When I first had the ceviche here years ago it was the best ceviche I’ve had and now I won’t order it again! Pretty disappointed. The bread with dipping sauce is obviously good and again the martinis are always a hit.

We actually love Bonefish, it is our go-to. I love the Calamari, Bang Bang Shrimp, and crabcakes and crabcake sandwich, and love the lobster bisque(seasonal). Wifey loves the lamb pops. The food is always great, the drinks are very tasty. Definitely order the crabcakes with a side of the calamari sauce though! Soooooo good when you dip the crabcakes just a tad in that sweet asian calamari sauce AND the more spicy crabcake sauce it comes with. A great balance that they should serve the cakes with all the time! :) That said and being completely transparent, your experience, as with most places, will often be dictated by the server you get. One server gave us 3 consecutive bad experiences for various reasons, which were his fault each time. The last time, he argued with me and long story short, I let the manager know, who had a response that frustrated me since he did nothing to rectify the situation and only said, «I will talk to my staff». So, we contacted their ownership or corporate or whatever it was thru their website, and asked to speak to me personally on the phone… they apologized profusely and thanked us profusely, even going so far as to say they were«embarrassed» and what happened was«unacceptable», and clearly made it clear that ownership/management CARES about their customers and wants every experience to be the best it can be. They insisted their staff woud be retrained on the Bonefish way. The restaurant has shown my family every intention is there to be the best they can possibly be, and backed it up by going above and beyond what they had to. I would have been happy with an apology and a free appetizer. They sent us a gift card for a free meal for our entire family, drinks, and etc. We went here 20+ times in 2015. 17+ of those experiences were perfect. 3 were not, and 1 was bad, and those 3 were the same server every time. My suggestion is simply, if you are not happy, let the manager know, they will take care of you… if they don’t(they should, but IF they don’t), contact corporate like I did. From all the times we have been there, how they have taken care of us, and the consistency of high satisfaction of our numerous visits, we give the 5 stars not off 1 recent experience, but our experience over time of the last 16 months or so. We love BFG, encourage you to enjoy some drinks and apps/meal on the patio.

OK, read the reviews and knew they weren’t known for timely service — but have had good meals at other locations so took a chance. Server was attentive, house salad was good, not great. Talapia from fresh sheet with crab and light butter sauce. Kitchen lost ticket and it took 45 min to get my entrée! But — server handled situation extremely well and comped salad & entrée, not to mention the Talapia, asparagus and broccoli were excellent! If I had been in a hurry I would probably have left, but had time and glad I waited. Not an ideal situation but server handled it well, and the entrée and dessert(Chocolate Grand Marnier brulee) were both very good. I will go back next time I am in town(as long as I am not in a hurry!).

This is one of my husband’s and my favorite places in Tri-Cities. Attentive & friendly service, yummy food, generous cocktails. Cozy but lively atmosphere. We always get the potstickers. The manager once mailed us a coupon for a free dinner for two after a minor mix up with our bill. Sometimes they have live music, and the bar is always packed, which we enjoy. We often go here for fun date nights. Reasonable prices.

Hoping it was just an «off» day. Had lunch and was disappointed from the time we were seated. Had the bang bang shrimp as an appetizer, although they were good, they were not great. Admittedly it has been a few years since dining here, I remember them as being much better. Did they change the sauce that the shrimp is coated with? Had the battered cod for lunch, truthfully, I’ve had better from Costco. It was definitely a frozen product that lacked any flavor other than an oily after taste. To their credit, when asked by the waitress if our meal was delicious, I told her it wasn’t what I had expected… She offered something different, I declined and said it was fine. When the bill came she had graciously comped the meal. I’m hoping they were just having«one of those days».

Worst lunch ever!!! Sorry but it was grose. First we had the start with stale bread heated up in the oven to «make it better». Didn’t help. Was stale! Bang bang shrimp, our appetizer, wasn’t awesome as I remembered. Seemed sloppy, wasn’t battered or evenly coated in their sauce. Disappointed for sure. Next my main dish, northwest crab cakes. Sounds yummy, it wasn’t. «Crab cakes» were blend, not even sure it was crab, pretty sure it was fish. Mixed spring greens with what ever dressing, no good. My remoulade sauce started to get a skin on top of it. And was way to spicy for crab cakes. To expect 16.40 $ for that. Just don’t get it. My mother in law got fish and chips. Seafood restaurant, safe bet, right? Sooo wrong. She had it worse than I. Half of the fish wasn’t cooked right. And I mean half wasn’t or didn’t seem to be fried at all. French fries weren’t seasoned and cold and not cooked all the way thru. Plus for some extra fun, the fish wasn’t cleaned proper. And yes we found blood veins. Yummy! I know it seems I’m making it up. But something changed there. And I haven’t talked about service yet. Very slow and it seemed understaffed. My mother in law asked for some hot tea. Which she got, however her second cup was hot water and she reused the same bag of green tea she used for the first cup. Since it didn’t come was a new bag. Appetizers: ok Entrees: poor Drinks: coke and water good Hot tea poor They asked for way too much money for such a poor lunch there. Don’t waste it. Try dinners. Other diners loved their dinners.

So good! You have to get the bang bang shrimp! It’s on the spendier side for sure but if you go during happy hour you can get a good deal.

Super good food and super good drinks! You get what you pay for! I do wish the portions were a little bigger but I’m a fatty who eats a lot– don’t judge me. XD

AMAZING. This place is my new favorite. The service was good and the food was delicious. No matter what you do, GETBANGBANGSHRIMP. Probably the most yummy thing in the world. I got the shrimp and scallops which was delish and my fiancé got the steak and crab cake dinner. He also enjoyed his meal. Everything was good. Go here.

The potstickers we ordered were not only really soggy and burnt, but destroyed, and pre torn apart. The garnish was over baring to cover up for their mistakes. There was just too much of it. Me and my parter tried the Bang bang Shrimp and they tasted like they had so much mayo in it and too spicy for me at least. Plus, again, soggy. I liked the lettuce more than I did the flavor of the shrimp. We were excited to eat here but were let down.

Food was a fail while service was great. I visited here last night during a work trip and this place came highly recommended by my hotel and they also had a coupon for a free Bang Bang shrimp. These were decent, too much sauce for me and not crispy enough. Once I had a few crispy pieces, I expected more but rather found a bunch of soggy shrimp. I ordered a special(crab crusted cod). The first time it came out, it was overcooked an rubbery. The server saw that I was not enjoying it and offered to send a new one out. The second one came out and the center was cold – this tells me these were pre cooked. My favorite part of the meal with the ginger candies on the mule, but the drink itself was really sweet. I may have came on an off kitchen night, but at least the service was great.

Food poisoning both times we came here. This was despite the fact that my Mahi Mahi steak was overcooked. Anyway, as a physician I can tell you the type of food poisoning was toxin-mediated, probably from Staph aureus, which comes from food handlers contaminating the food, and not because I ate anything raw or undercooked. I was vomiting so hard last night that I burst a blood vessel in my eye. Thanks a lot. Never coming back.

My friends and my husband and I went out for dinner tonight at this place. It’s way to overprice for the portions you get on your plate. Service was just awful, very slow, very under staff, only one waiter for all those tables. He waiter himself was amazing he was nice and very attentive he gets on star for that. The other star is for the bread, the only good thing I ate today. I had the lobster roll, the meat was good but the bread was very soggy, no mayo, the fries that came with it was just awful undercooked, and soggy. This was suppose to be my husband’s and mine goodbye dinner before we head back to Chicago, but these place didn’t made it memorable at all, I’m glad my friends were there to make it fun. Definitely won’t be coming back.

Yet another very great experience at bone fish of the Tri cities. Staff and serving staff go above and beyond with a very good attitude and service is spot on. Every time. The cook staff is amazing. We were close enough by to hear the orders as they went out. And everyone was communicating back there and it showed in the presentation. I will be back. I will be hungry. And bonefish I know will continue to pour out good food.

I’m a fan of Bonefish Grill because there aren’t too many places in Tri-Cities that are better for the quality and price of food. I came here with a group of ten with reservations,(thanks high school graduation weekend!) and we were quickly seated. I’ve been here a couple times in the past over the years they’ve been open and I’m pleased to say I’ve always had a quality and consistent experience. My little sister, the grad, wanted to come here, so here we came. I don’t eat seafood, so you’d think this is an immediate NOTHANKS for me, but I was able to survive off of the coconut chicken and bang bang chicken. For my entrée, I had Lily’s Chicken, which was surprisingly tasty! I don’t expect much from seafood restaurants because they have bigger fish to fry(zing). We had a great time and Bonefish is an accomodating restaurant for a large group of people.

Way too expensive for the food you are getting. Honestly the best thing I had was the complimentary bread they give you. I ordered the pad thai noodles and they were SOAKED in teriyaki sauce, it was almost non-edible. The bang bang shrimp was pretty good but a little expensive for an appetizer. You are better off at Panda Express ordering their honey walnut shrimp. I ordered a raspberry refresher that was also not so great. I wouldn’t come to this restaurant again…

I came here last night with my parents and was not particularly impressed. The food was decent(though not amazing), the service was mediocre, and the ambiance was nice(though a bit too loud). We shared the bang bang shrimp as a starter, and it was delicious. The complimentary bread was also soft and tasty. Our entrees were decent. My halibut special with spinach, mushrooms, and crab with a chile lime sauce sounded better than it tasted — it was ok, but not particularly flavorful. My dad liked his cod special, but found it too rich and buttery. My mom required a special, no seasoning preparation for her salmon, and we appreciated the fact that they were able to accommodate her needs. That said, she found the salmon a bit overcooked and dry. The service wasn’t the greatest. They forgot to give us bread plates, and only brought them when we asked. In addition, when my mom asked for water without ice, they forgot, and only brought it after we requested it a second time. In addition, our entrees took quite a while to come out. Last but not least, our waiter didn’t really seem open to feedback, and asked«Is everything fantastic?» after the food arrived. It was a disappointing experience overall, and we concluded that we much prefer Anthony’s for seafood in Richland.

We ate there last night for the first time, I was very disappointed, hard chairs, plastic table cloth with brown paper on top. Order the lobster dinner, very small portion it was only maybe 1⁄3 of a lobster tail, I do have some food allergies and it was difficult to order because most of there food is pre-prepared not fresh cooked. The waitress and waiters were excellent. We spent over $ 50.00 for two witch is ok but we both left still hungry, maybe it was what we order because people were leaving with dogie bags.
