If you go inside to order be prepared to wait while staff answer and take orders on the phone. Moral of the story — I’m a paying customer standing in front of you. Just tell me if you don’t want my business.
As much as I like the pizza, I’ll know to «call in» if I want to purchase any

These guys delivered quick and are super accommodating. In a NyQuil stupor I listed the wrong address and these guys went above and beyond to make sure I got my pizza. They’re not the hero Richland deserves, but the one it needs (make sure to say that in a gravely voice).

I was in the pizza business for 16 years, managing restaurants for Papa’s top competitor. Now that I’m in a different line of work, I get all my pizza from this establishment. The employees are friendly, my order is always correct, and it’s ready as promised every time. I always choose carryout because this is close to my house, and when I see the crew working it’s obvious the manager and assistant manager take good care of their team.

The local franchise has really great customer service. I follow them on facebook and they always have a good deal that makes it affordable. The local owner tries really hard to be connected with his customers through social media and he even tries to remember his regular customers’ names. also really involved in supporting the community.

My daughter and her husband just had a baby and the mother-​in-​law was signing up friends and relatives to take turns brining them dinner so they could rest. I live hundreds and hundreds of miles away in another state but I wanted to get involved so on my assigned day I arranged to have Papa Johns on Van Giesen St delivery pizza, salad and soda. They took my credit card online and I could even add the tip so my daughter didn’t have to be concerned with that! The new family reported that the pizza arrived on time and was delicious. Thanks Papa Johns, for the peace of mind of knowing that went smoothly!

The pizza is so-​so. No better than other delivery places and no worse. Don’t tip ahead of time. There is no telling when you’ll get your pizza. I live around the corner from this place and mine took an hour. The manager was polite and offered a free pizza next time I called, but I’m not sure there will be a «next time» with the service this time.

Please ignore the other review for Papa Johns and read this glowing one instead. This particular Papa Johns changed ownership awhile ago and that review is obviously for the old place. Papa Johns is seriously my favorite pizza here in the Tri-​Cities. The staff at Papa John’s provide excellent customer service and this may be the only pizza place ever not to mess up my order at least once. Staff answering the phones are always cheerful and helpful, never rushed and when you go in to pick up your pizza it feels like a really warm and fun place to work, not to mention yummy smelling and delicious. My kids always ask for their cheese sticks and the yummy garlic sauce that comes with every pizza is just that, yummy!

The pizza is okay… neither really good nor really awful. I’ve experienced both adequate service and absolutely horrible service. If it’s going to take you 1.5 hours to get my pizza to me, warn me ahead of time, cuz I’ll be pissed when you don’t and still charge me full price.
The lesson I learned is that they’re better at dealing with dinner than lunch.
