Average teriyaki and gyoza. No frills with the exception of the spicy claim to «flame», I mean to fame. Portions are fair. We have gone there several times for lunch and it is hit or miss. You can feel nearly ignored during the lunch rush. If you have only an hour and it looks crowded, just walk away.

Wonderful wonderful food and always friendly service. I love the soonduboo, kimchee and marinated vegetables, and spicy bulgogi. As noted elsewhere this is not your typical 1 – 4 star hot so if you like hot food you might try medium before getting adventurous.

After 10 + years I can honestly say that my pork yakisoba was horrible. This has always been my go to soba restaurant ! Salty, over cooked noodles, chunks of cooked thin slices pork… Nothing good to say…

Good food and good service. I had the special which was chicken teriyaki and gyoza. It had a great taste and a very reasonable price for lunch. I’ll definitely be back.

I actually like this place a lot, but it’s not amazing food. I fully understand that if I want a decent meal to fill me up for a great price and good service, yea Woo’s is always on the chopping block for discussion. No pun intended.

So, so good! The staff were so friendly and sweet. We got the phò lunch special and it’s some of the best I’ve had.

Note to the current owners. Call the old owners, find out who used to cook for them and hire them. Your food looks, smells, tastes NOTHING like it used to. A friend at work told me not to go anymore and I should have listened. .

I stopped by for take out and ordered the vegetarian stir fry with tofu. The service was great and the food came out fast(less than 10 minutes). The inside was clean. However, the stir fry was really salty for my taste! Like, really salty. And for being a vegetarian dish, I was hoping the veges would be the star of the show, but there wasn’t much variety(maybe 3 or 4 kinds of veges). This place is only«ok», based on the food I had, maybe other dishes are better.

Just had the chicken teriyaki lunch special. The meal comes with teriyaki grilled chicken, white rice, side salad and miso soup. Food was tasty! Slightly busy during lunch hours but worth waiting for.

Great food and service, though heed the warnings: hot is HOT! This is no 5 star heat, this is a scale of 10 – 100.

Not great. I’ve eaten at Woos for years and it used to be at the top of my list. Sadly much has changed here in the past couple of years. Sauces are overly sweet, service is less that awesome and past artful cooking has been replaced with slapdash stir frys. Every few months I try Woos again hoping for a return to their once amazing food but continue to be disappointed. I’m done.

I’m updating my review as we haven’t been very impressed with our recent few visits. The Kung Pao is not what it used to be, the flavor hasn’t changed much, but the quality of the ingredients seem to have gone down hill.(Maybe new chefs? New suppliers?) The quality of the waitstaff has also diminished. It’s quite sad because we’ve been avid fans for years. I’m not saying we’ll never go again, but I wanted to update my review to accurately reflect recent experiences. Miso soup is still tasty, as is the dressing that comes with the salad. Perhaps take-out is the best option these days.

A long time local favorite of mine! My experience is a little limited, not in the number of times I have frequented the place, but the items I have ordered. I pretty much only get the chicken and pork teriyaki. The real decision is hot HOT you want to get it! Some of the hottest food in town! I have tried the hottest teriyaki they have and have left sweating and needing the bathroom! This is not a bad thing, you have to know what you are getting into when you order food that spicy. In regards to quality, the meat is always fresh, i know this because I have seen them chopping up full chickens in the back. No, they are not processing birds i the kitchen… merely have fresh meet and are not buying frozen store bought, pre packaged stuff. I like how they prepare their food because it is not just a grill with sauce added afterwards. They cook the meat in the sauce, which makes all the difference in good teriyaki. The pork and chicken are always tender and taste good. My only gripe, which has nothing to do with food quality, is that they do not provide sriracha at the table, like other places do. You can request it and just get a little cup. I like to add a bunch to my rice, so I miss out on that part. Go take the fire challenge and see if you can handle their hottest sauce!

So far I’ve had the chicken teriyaki with fried prawns and the bulgogi. Both were really good and although you may ask for the spicy level to be mild, these guys aren’t messing around and certainly melt your face off with medium. While they really brought the heat with the food, it’s possible to end up with a seat by the door where you’ll freeze your jingle bells right off. So beware!

We are regulars at Woo’s. The kung pao chicken, spicy teriyaki pork, oriental chicken stir fry, and yakisoba noodles are a few of our favorites. Fantastic food every time. Be sure to visit Woo’s!

Food is great. Love the Bibimbop, miso soup, and ginger tea. Sometimes the waitress seems to be in a bad mood, but maybe she just has resting b***** face. I can forgive her attitude because the food is consistently good.

Treated poorly!!! My daughter and I stopped in to get a order to go. I asked if I could get my gyzo steamed and her reply was«NO!!» not a sincere no I am sorry we don’t have that, but a snotty«NO! As a was signing for my debit transaction she stood there glaring at me. I will not eat or buy food from a restaurant where I am treated so terribly. She obviously was not interested in working or kindness. Hire some employees with basic kindness and social skills please!

Fantastic food, okay service. Their customer service is hit-and-miss, but the quality of their food is so great that it is worth it. They are now open on Saturdays, which is great! They have amazing teriyaki chicken and gyoza. I would definitely recommend this place. Lots of parking– it’s in the uptown mall– and they have quite a bit of seating available.

I came here due to the reviews here. It’s my goal to at least try out different Asian places since I’m such an Asian food snob. Anyway, this place was meh. Service was good. I don’t care if it’s a little hole in the wall. All I care is that it has good food. I am thinking this place still use MSG. I get bad reactions when there’s MSG in food. This kind of did that. It was really salty and I kept on chugging down water. My boyfriend wasn’t a fan either but he had an issue with the texture of the meat being weird. I think it’s the fact that they pre-marinate the meat so it made the texture of the meat softer. I see that they had a change of ownership and cook but I didn’t try any of the food from the original owner and cook but I did hear from others that it was a lot better.
