The room was clean. I was very disappointed by the breakfast. The eggs tasted awful and the biscuits were burnt, too burnt to serve to people. I purchased a drink from the suite shop and it was flat. The drink was expired. I tried to exchange it, but all of the drinks were expired. I wasn’t offered a refund, just an exchange. This wasn’t the higher standard holiday Inn express I was hoping for and next time we are in the area will try another hotel.
