Not as great as they say. It has a small selection of this and that, and might be strategically placed, but it is lacking many essentials. Good place to grab beer or a snack to eat, don’t be expecting much more than this. They do have some deli meats, and they make do with the little space they have.

Lombardy Market’s got it all. It’s a great alternative to Kroger for those who get stressed out by the constant commotion. You’ll have to pay a little more for each item, but it’s worth it – especially when you’re only grabbing a few items. The guys who own it/work there are really easy going and friendly. Huge VCU basketball fans, too. Their beer/wine selection is underrated, as well as the sandwiches. Make sure you check the expiration dates, though. With such a wide selection, I’ve noticed things sometimes go unaccounted.

For a corner store, Lombardy Market is a great shop. Beyond the typically necessities, they have an impressive selection of wine and beer, and a deli counter that serves steamed sandwiches and generous potions of dessert. It is clean, well organized, and overseen by friendly staff. Happy to have them in the neighborhood.

Lombardy Market is a staple of richmond. Not sure what happened to Dylan above but the entire back of these store is packed with beer and wine. The business is family owned and operated. One of the few places you can get a sandwich drink and chips for 5 bucks!
