The front of the building is a bar, with dim lights, a pool table, and Latin music. In the rear is a small Ecuadorean restaurant. Soccer was on the television, fresh roses on the tables. Simple, but with a touch of charm. Our server was friendly. As with many restaurants, my experience needs to be taken with a grain of salt as a vegetarian; the menu was chock full of meat, poultry and seafood dishes and limited options for those with my odd dietary choices. We got freshly-made shakes(tree tomato and raspberry), and I cobbled together an avocado salad, yellow plantains, and rice into a semi-credible meal(I should have gotten beans, too). My pescetarian companion fared far better, with some sort of pile-o-seafood in an orange sauce; she loved it. The credit card machine was down, unfortunately, but they had an ATM.
