This location always smells like MOP WATER. I seriously hope that the owner will consider replacing the unsanitary floors. The second you walk in, you are welcomed by the VERY UNPLEASANT Mildew odor, that discourages us to dine in/​think about the cleanliness of the food.
The yogurt is usually pretty good and has good choice of toppings. Things I would change … #1 resolve the mop water smell #2 encourage staff to be more friendly and approachable #3 keep the topping bar cleaner and keep yogurt cooler as it occasionally is soupy.

The frozen yogurt is always good and the toppings are always neatly organized and kept clean and fresh. The service is absolutely great! Jacob is a great worker, I love his enthusiasm and friendliness.

Yogurt is ok, high quality toppings but limited selection compared to other yogurt shops. The problem is with the lack of attentiveness by the owner. One of their machines has been out of order for months, the bathroom is never very clean and the employees are not friendly or well trained. All of these things effect the overall experience and feeling of the store. I wish it was a Menchie’s instead. All of my experience’s with their stores have been very pleasant and fun to hang around in, plus the freshly made waffle cookies and the endless selection of toppings are a plus! Sorry Cherry On Top, there’s just too much competition these days…

Fairly new customer to Cherry On Top … was soooo disappointed with this location. People have expectations with chain food stores. Imagine going to McDonald’s and they don’t have fries or Big Macs. so this location does not have near as many toppings as the store on Van Buren.. it looked dated and dreary. Dirty. And the toppings they did have especially the fruit barely had anything in it. No one asked if I wanted a sample… not happy at all. If you think this place represents Cherry on Top. think again. Three stars is generous. No hot fudge, no animal cookies, no cheesecake bites. Van Buren customer for life. Sad I grew up behind the plaza. They deserve better tenants.

I love coming here to get a quick tummy bite to eat. The staff is always helpful and honest with their opinions on different flavored. But if your still hit sure they will let you sample any flavor you want and as many as you want. Plus they have a nice variety of toppings. I definitely recommend coming here! Great prices too.

Kind pricey but the choices are off the top really good.
Had a great experience and its located in a nice location known as the Riverside Plaza.

My church decided to bless this business tonight. A lot of our members came out for yogurt and to hang out. The yogurt was good. I had cookies and cream with white chocolate mousse. Topped it with carob chips, coconut, strawberry, granola, cookie topping, and a couple of blackberries. I wanted to go back for more but opted for self-​control. They use recycled spoons. I am all about recycling. I definitely will go back.

Really wish I could give 0… will never visit this location again the staff was more worried about their personal lives to even realize my party of 6 walked in… once I got my cups all o the weight machine, I just stood their not being acknowledged because she kept counting her money and telling her other co workers her drawer was short… I had to say out loud «DO I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THIS MELTS BEFORE I CAN PAY» MORAL OF THE STORY THEY FOREVER LOST MY BUSINESS.

This was my 1st and last time I’d ever consider trying a new froyo spot. The atmosphere is depressing, the young lady who greeted us had little to no appreciation for her JOB. The froyo was bland. The toppings were the biggest disappointment. Granola was stale, strawberries and bananas tasted rancid, the brownie bites were somewhat ok, but I couldn’t even finish my cup. I’m sorry cherry on top but you need some supervision and some attention to the toppings bar. I wouldn’t refer this place to anyone on the face of this earth even if it was the last froyo establishment known to man.

Straight up… 0 stars. Cashier told us our total and as my dad started to hand over some cash I asked to use my Unilocal check-​in discount… He said no… Check that «no»… Kindly I asked why and he said it was too late… My dad still had the cash in hand, although it crossed my mind to leave because it sure wasn’t too late for that we were nice enough…
Im just saying don’t offer Unilocal discounts if you don’t want to go to the trouble of letting us use them…
Not a good look for costumer service nor cash register abilities.

We have been here a few times. This place has an interior that looks like you are in a space station. You select a cup size, then poor your yogurt, select your toppings, weigh it at the cash register, and then pay for it.
This store just doesn’t seem as clean as when we first started coming here. For instance the counter we sat at had. dirt trapped between the seams of the table. The floor has little rocks glued together. It is not suitable for a food establishment because spilled food gets tapped in it and it is impossible to chean. The yogurt machines also needed to be cleaned.

I unfortunately had to change my original great review. The last two times I’ve been here I’ve gotten sick. I don’t think they’ve been using fresh mixes /​ingredients or toppings. I will no longer be a customer. No one wants to risk getting sick!

After visiting Cherry on Top a few more times since this review, I’ve come to like the place more. The yogurt has gotten better and the flavor a are pretty good. The toppings are not that great, but the yogurt has definitely improved. They probably have the best non dairy yogurts.

How this place got 5 star reviews is beyond me… just treated my friend to lunch at Panera’s (her birthday) than suggested we walk over to Cherry on Top for dessert.
How disappointing. What a BLAH store – the décor looks almost surgical and the one person staff was less than helpful — even after we both said we had never been there.
Had a taste of 2 flaors, settled on pistachio — it was okay – there were NO syrups of any kind-​NONE, for toppings— just a bunch of «candy» and of course fruit…
My friend wanted chocolate yogurt — it was empty –so she said okay vanilla with chocolate or fudge topping — NADA
Will we go back — NO!

We like it and we keep coming back. BUT one suggestion: please keep all nuts or peanuts away from other ingredients for allergy purposes. They should list prices better for better understanding. Prices are listed but rotate in their screen to fast to look at. Price should always be posted all the time with out moving around. Most important think of people with deathly allergies to all nuts.

The location for this business is great, considering there are a bunch of businesses within the plaza locals like myself can check out and frequent. You also have to love that they are ALWAYS open late everyday because who doesn’t love froyo late at night? We all have our late night fixes, admit it. The employees are also really nice and friendly, sample cups are always in plain view, an assortment of yogurt flavors and toppings, and if you’re a frequent customer like myself…
If you have 9 stamps on your Loyalty Card, you get a free 10 oz froyo as your reward! Which is about $ 3.90 or $ 4 when you think about it. I love everything about this place, and why I come here more than Yogurtland or any of the other froyo businesses!

Cherry on Top located in the Riverside Plaza on Central in Riverside. This store is in a good area because there is a lot of traffic that the local businesses attack, but not so good if one just wants to go into Cherry on Top. With that being said, it was worth the headache of finding a parking & getting off to purchase the fo-​yo for $ 3.35!
This location is nice, clean & shiny which is a big plus for me since it is a build your own fo-​yo. There was a fair amount fo,-yo to chose from & there was also a wide variety of topping.
I decided to go with the cake batter fo-​yo & a piled on several topping which were. Chocolate chips, almond slivers, strawberries, & chocolate sundae syrup! Yes I love CHOCOLATE!
Overall it was a great experience for me to get my chocolate fix & all for $ 3.35! & yes I have been back several times!
