Great sandwiches and service. The bread is tasty and I love all the options here. Even if you don’t feel like a sandwich you can enjoy a tasty potato stuffed with all kinds of things. I got a simple turkey sandwich and really enjoyed it. Only problem is, I’ve been here about 3 times when they were closed. Forcing me to go to other sandwich places nearby. I wish they could be open longer or at least everyday but I understand how that goes. Anyway, try them out when you can!

I’ve been wanting to come to this place for a while because every time I come they are close because they don’t stay open till late. I had their breakfast wrap(eggs, bacon, ham, potatoes, onions, bell peppers, cheese and salsa) because it was the guys recommendation. All ingredients were well cooked. I was very happy with my wrap. What I liked the most is that you are able to taste these ingredients in their natural state, very natural taste. No seasoning or overly salted. Potatoes perfectly cooked and still with skin along with veggies. Service was friendly, very clean place. Plenty of seating if you decide to eat inside. Definitely coming back to try their stuffed potatoes.

This place rocks! Staff is super friendly and you can tell they care about their customers. Love the special touch they add to each order. The guy with the awesome mustache, Bryan, was super helpful and friendly. He took the time to walk my order across the way to the hair salon to save me from walking out in foils! You can tell he enjoys talking with customers. And of course the food is deliciously too!

Very good food, reasonably priced, and friendly service. I had the meatball & cheese stuffed potato and my daughter had the PB&J. We’ll definitely be coming back and may even add it to our regular rotation of restaurants.

Came in last week, place is very clean and the potatoes were pretty good. $ 8 is not terrible for a potato loaded with chicken, bacon, cheese and sour cream. What really bothered me was the fact that the gentleman behind the counter was carrying on a conversation(small space) with a patron regarding religion. It just isn’t professional to carry on about religion or politics in a business that caters to all kinds of customers. Who wants to hear about a heavy topic like that while dining out? The worker should have chosen not to engage. I respect everyone’s right to believe as they see fit, but I would never subject my customers to my personal beliefs. The patron and worker went on and on for about 15 minutes making our meal awkward. Had we come in and started loudly talking about a different set of beliefs, would that have been taken so kindly? They went back and fourth about how the patron was«worried for her step daughter’s soul because she attends two churches» Just inappropriate and uninvting.

Ordered a Cuban and a bbq chicken wrap. Cuban was good but the bbq chicken wrap had BROWN avocado. Brought it to the cashier to show her and she said it was fresh… over ripened fresh BROWN soggy avocado was mashed throughout the wrap. Ate only the chicken and left the fresh brown avocado and the lettuce wrap on the table for them. Feeling ripped off

I ordered the Jumbo Potato with the works and it was delicious. It came with potatoes(obviously), chili, bacon, ham, mushrooms and was topped with cheese, sour cream, and broccoli. It was enough to share between two people! The cashier was also sweet and very welcoming. I will definitely be returning in the near future.

Great atmosphere. Food here is great! The only problem was the time frames they are open. I got a Jumbo potato which had the works on it and it was delicious and it was huge I could not finish it!!! My wife had the anti pasta salad and she liked it with ranch. She also had a broccoli cheese potato as well and liked it. We had a banana bread slice but it seemed to lack something but it was ok(I bake so my statement here is bias probably).

I love Subs & Spuds!!! The baked potatoes are just awesome, and I’ve been a customer since I was in Jr. High School. Keep in mind I am now 33 years old, so this place is a Canyon Crest staple! And the fact it’s been here for soooo long just shows how awesome it is.

This food is sub par. It looks good from their pictures that they post but honestly they’re really only good about potatoes. The people working there are nice though! I had the breakfast wrap with avocado. They’re slightly dishonest because they charged me a dollar for avocado when it clearly states it’s 75 cents. I’m not cheap but the moral behind the story is that they could have charged me a dollar instead of dishonestly pricing it at 75 cents. As for the actual breakfast there was barely any avocado, meat, and surprisingly even eggs! Unfortunately it was mostly potatoes. If you’re into a starch packed meal then go for it!!! Just letting you know from amount of ingredients they put in their product, they will receive more than half of what you pay! Good luck eating here!!!

First time trying this sandwich shop and completely enjoyed the food. This place has hot/cold sandwiches, baked potato and salads. They also serve breakfast items but only between opening and 11am. I got a lunch special which was a turkey sandwich with a bowl of soup. Also, the drink was included in the meal. The only problems I had was that I did ask for my sandwich to be toasted and it was not. But, it was still yum. Also, it did take a while to get my food. However, I will be back to try the baked potato next time.

I’ve lived in Riverside for nearly ten years, and went to this place for the first time about a week ago. And now I’m kicking myself. Allow me to elaborate further. I’ve lived in Riverside for nearly ten years, including one year by campus, and one year up the hill from this shopping center… and still never ate here. Regrets, I’ve had a few. We had the taco potato and the chicken pesto sandwich, based on the very sweet cashier’s recommendations, and both were awesome. Awesome enough that we were practically sobbing into our potatoes over not having eaten there sooner. The potatoes were good, the ingredients plentiful, and everything was cooked to suit. Maybe we weren’t actually crying into our potatoes, but we’ve pretty much brought this place up as a meal option for every meal since then. The downside, and this seems to be their only one, is their hours. Not open after 3 on Saturdays, closed Sundays, and only open until 7 on weeknights. Since we live closer to downtown these days, you couldn’t pay me to get on the 60⁄215 eastbound before 7 typically. But for potatoes, I may well make the sacrifice occasionally. After all, I have a lot of lost time to make up for.

Came for the potatoes but was disappointed. Had the broccoli cheddar potato and my friend had the chili and cheese potato. I was expecting creamy cheesy potato but got a dry potato with a little melted cheddar over a few broccoli florets. I had them add chicken for more flavor. My daughter had the potato soup but it was more like a milk chowder broth with chunks of veggies. She refused to eat it. She’s used to potato soup from Outback Steakhouse. The chili one was so greasy and my friend wasn’t thrilled with the flavor. Could’ve made better ones at home. Unfortunately I won’t be back.

subs & Spuds is a little place that shares a wall with bank of america. Its near work so I gave it a try. I ordered a philly cheesesteak and pasta salad. The Philly was decent. It wasn’t memorable. It tasted on par with phillys best. It was actually pretty small for the price. 3⁄5 Pasta Salad was a little pasty for my taste. 2⁄5 They were extremely friendly and had a lot of usuals. Id come back to try the pesto chicken next time.
