So the place is physically very nice and the menu looked promising. My kids ordered the lobster ravioli, my wife ordered the spinach ravioli and I ordered the veal parm. The bruchetta for appetizer was great, but probably could use some basil. The bread was cold. The Sangria was good. My family liked thier meals but still like other places for the same. My veal tasted like friend cardboard. I asked to return it. They asked if I wanted something else so I got what my wife had. It was ok. Everything seemed to taste as if was frozen before. They comp’d my veal meal but still charged me for the ravioli.

I loved your food, absolutely delicious, but our service was horrible! We came in on a Tuesday night, the place was not even half way full. Our waitress, Kenzee/Kezee(I don’t know how to spell it), she hated coming to our table to refill water or anything! If the service was better we would have stayed and ordered more drinks and dessert. I guess she must have thought from our appearance(both of us were in T-shirts and jeans) we weren’t going to be big spenders/tippers. All she did was assure herself a lousy tip. Good food, horrible service.

Absolutely love this place. Have tried something different each time and been very satisfied. Great ambiance with the open patio concept. Only giving them 4 stars because I wish the fish in the tilapia piccata was of high quality, although I realize that’s somewhat of an oxymoron Because tilapia is not a high quality fish.

Every meal I’ve ever had is delicious. Best pasta a la vodka I’ve ever had. Chicken piccata is delicious. Create your own as well. Delicious drinks(limoncello) and tiramisu. Truly an Italian mom cooking for you. Not a regular Italian restaurant. So good!

I have been to Inzo’s(used to be Brix) and it’s just not the same. Interior/exterior and staff are just as great, but the food has gone way down hill in our opinion. It’s a shame. Hopefully the management staff will listen to those on Unilocal. We are not trying to lash out at you, just know you need to know when things aren’t the best they can be. We’ll still come back as maybe the chef had an off night.

Got seated immediately. Service was very fast. I love Riesling; tried the J Lohr Riesling which was one of my favorites thus so far. You’ve got to try the mixed bruschetta spread as an appetizer! It did not disappoint. The gnocchi and chicken piccata were delicious. Lastly, to end our meal, we tried the Nutella cheesecake. Delicious! We will be coming back to this place.

Ordered chicken piccata and it was OK; nothing special or remarkable. Was not impressed it was served on a plastic plate; especially given the price. Most people were eating pizza. In the unlikely even I ever try Inzo again I’d probably get pizza instead. Good Italian food is hard to find in DFW. If it weren’t for the location I don’t think this place would make it.

Significantly disappointed. I was worried when the hostess was quiet and rude when she sat us and it only went downhill from there. We ordered the tilapia piccata and chicken piccata with two ceasar salads, two Diet Cokes and then informed the waitress that we wanted to order two 12 inch pizzas to go and asked that she place that order for the pizzas later during our meal. As the waitress delivered the Diet Cokes she informed us of the happy hour special(a little late don’t you think) and without taking one drink of the sodas, we asked for two beers instead. The waitress brought our beers and salads which were good. While only half way through our salads the waitress informed us that our meals would be out soon, which I worried meant that they were on their way… which they were and arrived within seconds of her announcement. I don’t understand why it is so difficult to ensure that your guests have time to eat their appetizers or salads before delivering the main course. The piccata was not good, at all. Firstly, there was not even a hint of lemon. We asked our hostess for fresh lemon. When it arrived, my wife and I added it to our dishes ourselves. I was also surprised that no one asked us if everything was okay with our meals considering we were both squeezing lemons into our pasta. Secondly, the dish was overly salted. Lastly, there was oil pooled on the plate beneath the pasta. All of which did not result in either of us enjoying the main course, but there were still the pizzas, right? The waitress brought our ticket to us and upon examining it, we discovered that we were charged for the sodas AND our waitress never put in our order for the two pizzas. We called her over, informed her of the soda charges(which she said she would have removed), and the fact that she failed to order the other half of our meal. She apologized stating that they had suddenly gotten very busy and she forgot(there were 6 tables in the entire restaurant… I counted) and asked if she should still put them in. We said«no». The bill was corrected and we left. One other thing: what appeared to be the owner was there and we were NOT impressed. He was dressed very unprofessionally, wearing a short sleeved Polo(untucked), saggy jeans, and tennis shoes. He repeatedly had conversation with the staff running the brick oven that was loud enough that the entire restaurant could hear it, walked around the restaurant on his cell phone and he didn’t bother to ask us about our experience until we had paid and we’re walking to the door. This restaurant may be in a nice location and have decent atmosphere, but either place on either side of them is significantly better and I would encourage you to spend your money there instead.

Service was terrible. Food was worse. After having several nights of great meals at other restaurants in Roanoke, this one was EXTREMELY underwhelming. We saw 3 meals sent back around us, and should have sent ours back. We were told by our server that they had a new cook. Guess we picked the wrong night to come here. Try the Hard Eight BBQ place a couple doors down. It is on point!!! Don’t waste your money!!!

Very disappointed — compared to the other local places(Vinnys, Italian Bistro etc) I would give this place one star. This is a very busy area at lunch time. This restaurant was severely understaffed and people were being served out of order. Nobody came by for refills or to see how the food was etc. Now on to the food — It was very mediocre. It almost tasted frozen … The quality from the fries to meatballs to the noodles was poor. I like to stay local and support the businesses but I won’t be coming back here.

We came here on a Saturday night. Given the location in historic Roanoke I expected it to be much busier, but wasn’t very busy at all. It wasn’t dead, but maybe about half full. I ordered the lemon drop cocktail and thought it was delicious. For dinner, I split the Prosciutto E Rucola pizza with my mom. For the most part, I enjoyed it. The arugula was very fresh and the crust was flaky. The prosciutto tasted a little off though, kind of the way leftover meat at home tastes. I ended up picking that off, which was disappointing because normally I love prosciutto. Service was good and the atmosphere was cozy. Overall, it’s a nice little place for a family dinner in Roanoke, and worth trying if the wait is too long at one of the other restaurants in the area.

Divine!!! What a great little restaurant! Came here on a whim due to there being a 1+ hour wait across the street at Babe’s, but was seated immediately at Inzo. Service was solid and our waitress was incredibly nice. Very pleasant atmosphere with an open kitchen with kind of a «homey» feel. Great spot for a date night or to hang out with the family. The Genovese pizza was perfect and full of so much flavor! I had chicken added for only an extra $ 1.50. Comes with pesto, mozzarella, roma tomatoes, and shaved parmigiano. Best tasting pizza I’ve had in a very long time. My family and I will definitely be coming back here again!

This place looks nice on the outside, the inside is nice too. However, we thought the food was just okay. Had higher expectations. They get an A for presentation and plating. Our server was also nice. The food: the spaghetti and meatballs were okay. I think I’ve tasted a better marinara sauce before though. The chicken Alfredo was the one we liked least. We weren’t sure if there was a lemon zest after taste from the Alfredo sauce or if it was bad, or maybe the taste from the spaghetti, but it was just okay as well. We also had a 16″ supreme pizza. It was okay, the middle of the pizza was kind of soggy. The good thing was they used real olives, which were kind of salty. Not sure we will come back. The good thing about Inzo is they are close to everything in Roanoke. And they are open all day. Their lunch menu also goes all the way to 4:00. I think if you want something quick and close-by this would work for you.

I am knocking off a star for the business managers responses on certain Unilocal reviews. I find her attitude to be inappropriate. No matter how much I like your food, I don’t want to be supportive of rude business owners that do not care about their customers.

This is a very nice Italian restaurant on Roanoke’s Historic Oak Street. They have a brick oven they cook in. Menu is nice, service is friendly. The food was good. I’ve been here probably more than a handful of times and never had a bad experience.

I was really looking forward to trying out this Italian restaurant in Old Town Roanoke. I ended up ordering pizza at the servers recommendation. I should have stuck to my first instinct and ordered pasta. The pizza was just okay but I had ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza but the sausage tasted like the bottom of a refrigerator. Nasty food odor taste. Yuk! I tried to pick off the sausage but it had done it damage and left its odor on the pizza. We ended up eating only a couple of slices and left the rest. Disappointing.

Surprised this place doesn’t have better reviews! Bf & I had a date night the other day and we’ve never been to this area before so the little downtown definitely surprised us. I wasn’t expecting much from the reviews, usually a 3 ½ star restaurant would make me find another eatery but I’m so glad we tried it! Started off with a delicious glass of Riesling and the mozzarella & prosciutto appetizer, YUM! The plate was generously filled with slices of prosciutto and mozzarella drizzled with a really awesome balsamic! It was enough for my bf & I to have a few servings of it! He ordered a pizza(which I totally had for lunch the next day) and I had the shrimp scampi. The scampi was amazing! The noodles were perfectly done, had a handful of large shrimp tails, buttery but not overpowering with garlic and a slight acidic lemon taste to balance it all out. Even though this place is a bit of a drive, I know we’ll be back to enjoy more awesome food! We ended the night with tiramisu, which had a bit too much cocoa powder but that didn’t stop me from devouring the entire cake. I did leave about 4 bites for my bf though. Haha As it got later in the evening, the string bulb lights really livened up the place and gave the restaurant a ton of character, it was so cute! We ended up eating inside because it was still a little warm out. This is definitely a great place for families or friends to get together, I just wish we lived closer. Carlo was super friendly and helpful in suggesting dishes/wine and overall getting anything we needed through out meal.
