I had just got finished reading some bad reviews for this place and figured since my first experience here was ok(not great but ok) i would give it another go. Now i fit in the same category as everyone else. Im not sure if I made the girl at the drive thru window mad or what? She was«short»(to say the least) with me, and i could FEEL her eagerness to get me off of what apparently was HER property. Im sorry that i was searching for a menu item ur company says it carries and i cant find it ONYOURMENU. AND!!! they forgot my tortillas, which i was actually looking forward to but my attention was turned elsewhere due to the fact that they also forgot my honey(yes it’s mine, i paid for it) for my sopapillas and i wasn’t driving off without that. They did however, give me salsa, which i am apparently supposed to eat by itself. With 0 tortillas, why would i need salsa? My drink was correct though! Lol. My faith in Rosa’s Café has been restored, Connor(the manager) said he wasn’t having any of the foolishness that took place and handling things properly. He said he would not only take care of what i had ordered but also personally speak to the employees that i encountered last night, thanks CONNOR.

Keep disappointing me! I love Rosa’s food, but EVERYSINGLE time I have gone through the drive through in Rockwall, they leave out my salsa! EVERYSINGLETIME! I just ordered tortillas and chips w/salsa and did not get SALSA! I have called two times to complain about this problem now. I hope the drive through attendants are more careful now.

Got to go and our order was wrong and didn’t get our salsa with our chips! Cheese Enchiladas were like chewing rubber! Tostada was missing lettuce. Don’t think we will be eating there again!!!

This place was a pleasant surprise for the most part. I walked in not knowing how the place worked, and then I saw the counter where you order food at. Strange at first, but I rolled with it. I got the chicken fajita salad and a lime margarita. The salad was pretty fresh and good, besides the fact that they forgot the chicken. However, I’m not letting that take away from my rating because they resolved the problem with no hassle and we’re apologetic about it. I was amazed with how fast the food was done and the salsa bar was awesome. Their tortillas are a little too thick for my liking, but they had a good flavor. The margarita was decent for being out of a machine. I’d definitely come back.

This place passes for Mexican food if you are used to eating Patio burritos. Maybe if you’re from Rhode Island and have never seen a taco up close. but if you are familiar with good Mexican food just drive past this one.

Mediocre at best… Went there on recommendations from a friend. Obviously his taste buds lack credibility! Service was fine. Serving sizes were fine. Taste was BLAND. No zing, no edge, no TASTE! For the $ 30+ we shelled out it was not worth it. The beef fajita was bland, no taste. The nachos were nachos, but the ground beef was BLAND! Here’s a pointer… SEASONTHEDAMFOOD! Won’t be going back to mediocre. I would rather go to Taco Bell or even better go to a taco truck on wheels before I would eat that crap again.

Went here this afternoon. I usually read reviews before going to a new place. Had I done so I probably never would have gone as they have a low star rating and reviews are very mixed Didn’t in this case as I was going to try a place next door Had the burrito plate and a drink. $ 10 Thought it was pretty good. Especially for a fast food type place and for $ 10 That’s the cost for a beer at an ok bar Seems most of the bad reviews are from drive through. Not sure I’ve ever had anything make it home and still be good Or maybe times of day? Either way mine was worth the stop Overall. I would come back again until I have a bad experience but from today I know they are capable of delivering a decent meal

Ordered chicken nachos and a coke for 10 $ and I can barely count the number of chicken fajitas slices on it. Not worth the $$. The nachos are stale but the fajita Chicken had flavor. Overall disappointed this was my second attempt and the same results.

Stopped in for a quick bite before an appointment. I had never visited a Rosas before and was impressed with their quick system of ordering at the counter and picking up your tray. I would advise though to look up their menu online and make a decision before reaching the counter if you’ve never been before. I felt a little pressured to make a decision and made a bad choice. I ordered a smothered burrito and was not impressed. It was dry taco meat rolled up in a tortilla with chili thrown over it and about a teaspoon of cheese sauce. Roger ordered steak fajita nachos and they were yummy. The meat was tender and seasoned well. I kept stealing little bits off his plate because I had an extreme case of orderer’s remorse. Rosas served its purpose for a quick bite to quiet the Mexican cravings. I would eat here again.

So went there today and ordered two bean and cheese burritos. Take a bite into my first one and bite down on something extremely hard. Spit it out and it was a bone about the size of a quarter with spiked edges. Why are there bones in the beans or cheese!!! Prob not going back to this location. I could have choked or swallowed it and had problems later. Look closely at your food.

The food here is pretty good for fast food! It’s better than Taco Bell any day! My kids love the burritos on the kids’ menu and I am a fan of their tacos! The tortillas are served as they are made fresh and they are hot!!! Definitely a favorite!

Came in with high expectations but, will not be my first choice for Mexican food. Seen the commercials on tv and is what drove me to come in. The food is very generic, reminds me of another Taco Cabana. The restaurant is very neat clean, and too well lit. The staff was kind and courteous. The tacos al carbon where good, but for the price and serving size, I can get something better and bigger at a Mexican restaurant in Oakcliff off of Jefferson. The salsas were good, I will say that the fresh flour tortillas were good as well, but in the future I will be buying a dozen to take with me to eat with real authentic Mexican food, and not assembly line tacos. The concept is ok, but the food quality needs better attention especially if your trying to pass this place off as authentic Mexican food.

Tried it for the first and only time tonight. It was worse than Taco Bell but more expensive. We thought we would give it a try because we like Tex-Mex food, but the meat had no taste, the cheese was like cardboard and the tomatoes were over-ripe. The chips seemed stale as well. The tortillas weren’t anything special. Not worth the money.

Nothing special to speak about… I ordered the #6 Deluxe Mexican Dinner(one taco, one cheese enchilada, one tamale, one tosada with beans and rice. Everything was BLAND. no seasoning whatsoever!!! I won’t be returning anytime soon, if ever.

Decided to give it another try tonight. We ordered chicken enchiladas, beef fajita nachos and chips n queso. It was really bad. My husband’s nachos in his words were«vile, cold and mushy.» More sour cream than cheese. Very little meat. All the ratios for good nachos were off. For $ 8.50 you can go almost anywhere else and get far better. The Zesty Nachos at Denny’s blow this away. The Chicken Enchiladas look nothing like the website. The whole thing looks less appetizing than school cafeteria lunch. At least Taco Bueno garnishes their version of this disaster. It was as tasteless as it looks. My dog wouldn’t even eat the leftovers! We won’t ever go back.

Well, I bit, we tried Rosa’s… It was a’ight! We were cruising past on Tuesday and I noticed the $ 3.99 Taco Tuesday sign… and being a Tuesday it felt right. We ordered two crispy taco plates and it was less than $ 10. A quick 10 minute drive home and the crispy tacos weren’t so much anymore, and overall it was pretty bland. For $ 3.99 it was a deal. for $ 6.99 I would have been disappointed. For what it is, an expensive tex-mex place that’s a step down from On the Border… it’s A-OK! Maybe soft chicken tacos would be better next time? I’m not giving up on them yet… only don’t expect to love it, y’all.

I’m sorry but this food is just awful! After seeing a Rosa’s commerical earlier that day, I suddenly was in the mood for fajitas.(At least their marketing ploy worked on me). I ordered the fajita dinner which comes with guacamole & chips, tortillas, and a container of rice & beans and a side order of sopapillas. I had two teenagers in tow and I don’t waste food or leave anything behind but I left ¾ of the container of beans sitting on the table and half a container of the rice behind because they were both so bland and no one wanted to eat them. The beans were especially flavorless. The guacamole was also bland. I don’t think they use any spices whatsoever in their food. The fajitas were edible and the tortillas were probably the best out of everything, but overall, it wasn’t worth the $ 32 I paid. For that kind of money, I would’ve been better off going to Gloria’s over at the Harbor. This is a far, far cry from authentic Mexican food. Seriously, I think On the Border would even be better than this.

The tamales and food were excellent for a New Year’s Eve get together with family. The service on the other hand left a lot to be desired. I had been to the one in Wylie and they were a lot more customer friendly. This location was very protective of their salad bar and even after spending $ 60 on 4 dozen tamales they still limited me on items from the salad bar and acted like it was a real chore to hand me a simple Styrofoam cup and lid. I’m sorry if someone buys that much food they should be able to get any level of «Salsa Heat» they desire. I doubt I will return to this location. :(
