G@D Barbecue

Atmosphere is like a beat up cafeteria in a tiny old folks home. Sides are like Walmart sides (which to me is awful) BUT I could drink the BBQ sauce. I drown the deliciously slow cooked pulled pork and its pure satisfaction. 500 stars for incredible BBQ pulled pork.

Was a okay place. Good Price Tried one of their meals plan. Was pretty damm good. The meat just fall right off. Amazing!

I’m not sure where all the five star reviews come from. The meat was just ok. I ordered the combo plate. The pulled pork was really good. Moist and flavorful. The brat was really good too. The brisket was not all that great. The ribs were badly over done. It was like they had been steamed until they became mush. There was no color on the outside of them, and they fell apart as I picked them up. The flavor was ok, just really mushy.
I’ll say though, the sides were the most disappointing part. The potato salad was obviously store bought. Like you would get from the cold case at wal mart. The Cole slaw was the same. Beans were thinly sauced and tasted like canned as well. Cucumber salad was basically cucumbers and tomatoes with bottled Italian dressing on them. I asked about the Mac and cheese and she admitted it was not home made. The ladies working were nice, but it wasn’t enough to make up for the average at best food.

This is the best bbq! Beats all others hands down in this area. I highly recommend.

This place is just a quaint little place with décor that is very simple and not splashy. Not really sure about the place until you open your car door to get out. Once the wonderful aromas hit your nostrils, you can’t wait to get in the door and get some food. It is AMAZING and if you are passing thru or living in NW AR and you haven’t stopped in, you are missing the best BBQ around!

Five stars all the way around! Incredible service and incredible food in a clean establishment.
Being from Texas, my meat standards are high. Austin is not easy to compete with, but this place can hold its own.
I tried the sampler platter (ribs, pulled pork, sausage, chopped brisket, cucumber-​tomato salad) and an extra side of Mac n cheese. Those ribs were melt in your mouth tasty! The BBQ sauce is thick and sweet without pepper. There’s also a spicy version which has a slow burn that begins in the back of your throat. So nice…
This really is as G@D as it gets, and was worth the drive.

I had «redneck nachos» or «country nachos» — ruffles drowned in pulled pork, jalapeño peppers and a white sauce that was kind of like ranch but sweeter. They were delicious but messy and needed a few more chips to pick up the toppings.
The interior had a curious collection of coke memorabilia, some of which appeared to be for sale.
Overall a decent hole in the wall if you are nearby.

I just ordered the platter of ribs, which came with three pieces. They were huge, fall off the bone and had deep flavor. Nice staff and clean restaurant with a homey feel to it.
The sides weren’t as good though. I had potato salad and the cucumber-​tomato salad and it just didn’t seem fresh. I was disappointed. However, they had a condiment section with delicious options, particularly the pickeled jalapeño peppers that were sweet and crispy. Perfect balance with the BBQ meats.
Inexpensive and pleasant experience. Although located in the far east side of town in Rogers, I would definitely come here again for my next BBQ fix!

Truly amazing BBQ. Had the pulled pork, so much flavor, great sides (amazing cucumber & tomato salad). And oh the spicy sweet BBQ sauce… I mean awesome is not a good enough word to use to describe it. You must eat here!!!

Don’t let the silly name deter you. This is seriously good BBQ. You don’t have to wonder where it’s cooked either. Smoker is on site and the wood is right next to it.

I love a good joint. Good food, good people. Had the sampler platter. It was billed as the best value and was every bit of that. Large portions of brat, 2 large ribs, pulled pork, and brisket. Included one side and Texas toast. Had the cucumber salad and it was excellent! My favorite meat was the brisket, followed by the brat then the pulled pork. All meats were well smoked and very juicy. As to the comment made by another reviewer concerning the ribs although they were above average, the Rendezvous in Memphis and Franklins in Austin should continue doing ribs. Needs more community support though, chains are taking us all to assembly line foods. We must support the «joints» before they’re all gone.

Holy cow. SO good. I had takeout from here for dinner tonight with my mate’s parents and wow… every single thing was amazing. Every side we had — cole slaw, baked beans, cottage cheese, cucumber salad, applesauce & potato salad — was 5 stars for sure! I can honestly say this was the best regular cole slaw I’ve ever had. I don’t eat beef but even the brisket looked good, and they said it was fantastic. Seared some tofu and smothered it in G@D’s BBQ sauce — absolutely delicious.

I cannot recommend this place enough. Everything I’ve tried here from their ribs to their cucumber salad has been fantastic.

Upon stumbling across this restaurant (and the best ribs I’ve had in Rogers) I went back for a second visit and ordered literally an order of everything on the menu (around $ 87.00 if you need to feed a small army or cater a housewarming party of 9 guys lol). I was outstandingly surprised with not only the food, but the service. I have since made it a habit to travel 20 minutes out of my way to eat here 3 – 4 times a week and will continue to do so. The meals are very budget friendly. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and reminds me of a southern home; or my grandma’s house more specifically :) You have a lifetime customer here, keep it up! (and get some cobbler: P)

Great pulled pork sandwiches. Super baked beans. Just passing through. Lots of locals coming in for take out dinners. So glad we stopped.
