good place; went there several times. A good place if you want to eat HK cuisine

It’s kind of run down at this point but the food is still good for Hong Kong café style fair. I wouldn’t eat there but it’s great for to go. Just call ahead. Prices are reasonable and I always get the porridges when I’m sick. Fish and duck egg are both good.

Definitely a place that I’ll return. Their filet mignon is superb. Their lamp chop is also scrumptious. But remember to ask for the sauce to be on the side. It can get a bit salty if you let it drench in the sauce.

My family and I came here on Christmas Day, because the dimsum place across the way had a ridiculous wait. The food was alright, but the service was below average. It took close to an hour for us to get our food after we ordered. By the time our food arrived, we kind of wished we just waited it out for dimsum.

What I love about this place is the large portion and the good flavors from these dishes. I normally order the chicken steak and filet mignon with the garlic pepper sauce. Both the meats are prepared well and the spicy sauce is really spicy. Plus, you add a drink like thai tea for a $ 1. Can’t beat that scenario. We’ve been coming here for years because it’s the best bang for the buck with large delicious portions.

It’s possible that I can’t appreciate this café because I don’t have an extensive knowledge of Cantonese cuisine, but my experience here was very sub-par. A friend of mine who frequents this restaurant brought me here on the way home from Las Vegas and we were seated immediately. The staff is extremely friendly and her family knows them well after years of frequenting the joint, so they were very kind and attentive to us. However, I was so taken aback by the randomness of the menu. Why does a Cantonese café have so much pasta on the menu? So many dishes come with pasta on the side. I am so confused. My friend and her family seem to enjoy the pasta on the side, but I find it an odd mélange of cuisines. I ended up ordering the unagi and mussels dish, which was surprisingly good. The dish came with rice(not pasta, thank god). The mussels were baked and covered with a creamy cheese sauce that I’ve never had before but really enjoyed. The food was cheap and very filling. The restaurant brought out complimentary tomato soup beforehand that everyone enjoyed. Again, the menu here is SO random(they had pasta with meat sauce somewhere on the menu) but it’s cheap and tasty enough.

Came here this weekend with my dad and boyfriend and decided to order the Grilled Prime Wagyu Rib Eye Steak and the Roasted Prime Rib, which is weekend only. The rib eye was decent but was very disappointed in the Prime Rib. We ordered it medium rare, it came out looking like medium and was completely COLD. We had already cut a piece of it before noticing so we asked them to take it back due to it being cold. They bring it out again, the same piece, and it no longer looks like a medium, it looked fully cooked. We mentioned it to the manager and she informed us that they precook the prime rib at 5 pm(we came to eat at 7:20pm) and they just have it in a cooker until someone orders it. Absolutely ridiculous. The attitude given when we said we did not want it was cold and harsh.

The food here is alright, nothing great about it, but nothing super bad either. But the price here is very good! Lol. Cheaper than most café places. Customer service is pretty bad, but what do you expect for the price you are paying? Parking is teribble here! Good luck finding parking!

I wouldn’t mind dining here again. Overall it looks nice and clean and the price is inexpensive.

Ledo is just like any other cantonese café restaurant. I don’t think their menu is as big as other cafes though, and they’re lacking in a lot of vegetarian/vegetable/tofu dishes. I used to love coming to Ledo because they used to give out complimentary cream soup… Now they don’t have it anymore !! :(Wahhh! That was the one thing I enjoyed eating here the most. They always have the tomato soup though. I always get their mushroom farfalle pasta with cream sauce. The sauce is more on the thick side, definitely not like Italian places, it forsure has their own asian taste to it. They also put melted cheese in the sauce which I also love. My boyfriend always gets their spaghetti bolognese. He loves it, I think this is his favorite place to eat this. It’s a pretty big size with lots of sauce, cheese and noodles. It also comes with garlic bread, but their garlic bread is like SUPER garlicky! It’s because they put chunks of garlic on the bread, so I make sure to take those out. Even when I do take them out, it’s still super garlicky but it tastes super delicious at the same time. Bring back your cream soup please :(I promise I’ll come more if you do!

This is a decent café that has been around for a long time. The food here is good but nothing amazing. I have eaten here several times and never had a bad experience. The food is consistent and they have some pretty decent late night and weekend specials. You can find all your café favorites at Ledo café. I always opt for the fried chicken steak and rib eye steak for around 10 bucks. I still question what kind of steak they give me because I don’t believe the advertised«Rib eye» is actually a cut of rib eye steak. I’ve been eating this dish for so many years that I just try to ignore it ha.

I was really surprised at how bad the service is here! We seriously waited 10 minutes just to get the waiter to notice us. And the lady that seems to be the manager(?) completely ignored us when we called her, and no she didn’t just not see us, she walked past us, looked at my friend with his hands up, and then walked away. When someone finally came to our table(longest wait everrrr) there was so much confusion trying to order. He seemed kinda rude… But nice at the same time??? Maybe it’s just not his day, I don’t know. But come on you work in customer service! Conclusion: Will not be coming back.

Serve is terrible but the only reason my boyfriend and I keep coming back is for the filet mignon cubes with spicy garlic sauce. My mouth is salivating as I’m writing this review. It’s that good. Oh, free refills on Thai iced tea yay!

My family and I always come here when we want something cheap and good. We usually only come during dinner time. most of their food is also very good. They have a special dinner menu and there are a lot of choices. They all come with soup as well. You can also get lemon iced tea or thai iced tea for $ 1 and its free refills! I usually get #17. They have 5 diff meat choices, but i usually get the filet mignon cubes w/black pepper sauce and the fish filet. It comes is either rice or spaghetti and corn. if you order any type of meat here i suggest you say medium-well or well done if you want the perfect bite because if you say medium its super super red and bloody! The filet mignon was good and the black pepper sauce was spicy but delicious! The fish with the cream of corn sauce is amazing! This is the reason why I always get this combo. However, the rice tasted like it was undercooked. it was a little flakey and broken. The service isn’t the best though. Sometimes it takes a while for the food to come out and the servers don’t really tend to your needs. But what do you expect from an asian restaurant?

Ledo gets a bad rep but I enjoy the food I eat here. Parking in this plaza is terrible. If you want to experience asian drivers, come here. You get typical café service like all other places. To-go orders are ready quickly, 10 – 15 minutes. I enjoy the to go food here. People hate the service, but I have not eaten here enough to judge it. Wonton Noodle in Soup — $ 6.75 — Typical wonton broth. You get a good amount of wontons and veggies. Singapore Style Chow Rice Noodle — $ 7.75 — Dry rice noodles tossed with some ham, shrimp, bean sprouts, and green onion. You can taste curry and other asian spices in the noodles. Beef Stew with Steamed Rice — $ 7.25 — The curry version of this dish is my favorite. The curry is the typical chinese curry style. The beef cubes are always tender and falls apart. Dried Scallop & Shredded Chicken Porridge — $ 6.75 — Best thing to eat if you are sick and cannot make it at home.

Decided to give these fools one more chance to up my previous 3 Star rating. I wanted Petrillo’s but my wife and daughter wanted Ledo Café. So a far better experience from the last time. So I guess that the 3rd time is the charm. Service was excellent, no waving down the waiters to get drinks refilled. I had the Deep Fried Sole Fillet and Chicken Steak with Black Pepper sauce to mix into my pasta. Very yummy and satisfied. My daughter had the Sole fillet and Ribeye Steak. Well can’t expect too much of a steak combo dinner for $ 8.50. Her Ribeye was wafer thin like a thick cut of bacon, cooked just right and tasted pretty good. We all had vegetable soup as starters.

This is the second go to spot if my friends and I are tired of going to JJ’s Café. This place isn’t too bad, but the service here is a hit or miss. The last time I was here, it was so difficult to get a refill. Had to practically walk up to the counter to get their attention. You try to flag down a waiter or waitress and they pretend to not see you. I usually order the rib-eye steak and eggs and it’s pretty good. It comes with a side of rice, corn, and a choice three different sauces for the steak. It’s either mushroom, black pepper, and I think some chili sauce. When you order an entrée you also get an option of either vegetable or cream soup. They have a pretty decent club sandwich as well.

I was surprised that my experience here went well, based on the reviews from fellow Unilocalers. I here on a weekday for lunch and as expected, the restaurant was not packed. However, around 12:30pm, the place started to pick up and more patrons were walking in. The hostess that walked us to our table didn’t look happy at all, but that was the only negative regarding their customer service. Their lunch specials include a variety of things, but very typical for a café. The special comes with soup(cream or bean) and for $ 1 more, you get a drink. I ordered combo #17, where you can pick from a variety of protein: chicken, beef, pork, fish, etc. I ordered the Grilled Chicken and Prime Rib with Rice — $ 8.95. The dish comes with a side of corn… and there’s a lot of it! I enjoyed the grilled chicken, the skin was very crispy! The prime rib was decent, something I wouldn’t order again. Someone else at my table ordered the filet mignon cubes, which I really liked. I’d recommend the grilled chicken and filet mignon cubes combo! The lemon ice tea was exceptional here, you’ll pretty much see everyone at the restaurant with a drink. The customer service here was great, except for the hostess. The waitress came by and took out orders. We weren’t ready yet, so she took our drink orders and gave us enough time to think about our orders. We asked for a few things and they followed up quickly. They also returned plenty of times to refill our teas. That’s very generous of them! Overall, I would give them 3.5 stars. I enjoyed my meal and the customer service was great, but to get 4 stars or more… they would really have to shine! It’s just like any other typical Hong Kong café… my favorite is still probably Tasty Garden at Atlantic Times Square.

I don’t care what anybody says, I like this place. A great place to catch a quick meal. Where else can you find such an extensive menu? Ok probably there are tons of these joints in the San Gabriel area. Still, I like Ledo for their homestyle Chinese food but hey, they also serve steak, pork chops and spaghetti, to name just a few. Where else can you get grilled chicken breast and filet mignon for under 10 bucks? Next time? Salted fish and chicken fried rice… then I’m gonna kiss my honey!

mMmh had another tasty lunch here Friday. I was with my parents and met up with my older brother, his children and one of his friends. We got there around 2:40ish and they had a good amount of diners even at this time. I got the Chicken Steak and Fillet Cube combo with rice and buttered corn– huge portions and the beef cubes were so tender. For $ 7 bucks it’s very very good quality beef. I didn’t get to eat the chicken steak till later that day since one plate here is usually two meals for me. That’s how big the portions are. The also give starter soup — either a Chinese type of soup or cream soup and usually I get the cream soup. My mom had the steak and eggs(scrambled) served with rice and buttered corn. It was very good steak and I have always liked their corn and scrambled eggs. My dad had the curry beef stew with rice — the curry is thick but not very spicy and very good over rice. The service is always wonderful here — probably cause they recognize us by now but even in the beginning the service was very nice and the waiters and waitresses are very friendly and talkative. I don’t know why I haven’t given it five stars… there’s really nothing to complain about this place — the food — taste, portion, quality and price is great, as well as the service. So they definitely deserve five stars. The parking lot can get quite busy so sometimes finding parking isn’t as fun but that’s like most places that are good or share a parking lot with other stores.
