Not that impressed with their frozen yogurt. I was disappointed that the two flavors I wanted to try were out of order and being cleaned. It was also very expensive place, more expensive than most of the other frozen yogurt joints. The yogurt was not bad and the topping options were not bad, but just comparing it to other places it just didn’t live up to my expectations.

The SkinnySweet Dole Pineapple Whip with fresh, never frozen/canned pineapple, is the yummiest ever!!! I just had it at the Dole Pineapple Plantation, which I enjoyed, yet the consistency was squishy, and almost overly sweet. I did eat and enjoy it, as it was a treat to have it in Oahu on their patio overlooking their beautiful gardens. How excited was I when I saw that skinnysweet had it in this weekend!?! I rushed over, served myself a serving, with a side of perfectly sweet, fresh pineapple. Oh, my!!! It smells wonderful, and tastes fabulously decadent. The consistency of their Dole Pineapple Whip is perfect. Firm, yet soft not squishy. The color is beautiful, too. Skinnysweet’s machines are awesome, the consistency of their frozen yogurt is perfect. Disney fanatics are welcome!!! You, esteemed reader, deserve a tasty treat today, get yourself to SkinnySweet ASAP!!!

Yumm… have frozen yogurt on a freakin’ hot sunny day… and have frozen yogurt on a mighty cold day… putting on your snuggie… Chicago style! Well, I’m at work and there no spare snuggie, but I would have a cup of frozen yogurt anyway. My store is literally two(2) seconds away from this place. It’s located on the second floor at the Fashion Outlets of Chicago, in the village of Rosemont, just in case you’re wondering. I believe currently, as of 12/10/2014, they charge 0.53 cents/oz. However, if you’re a mall employee, you will receive 10% off discount on your entire purchase. I also do believe that the green savings card for the mall does apply, yet I don’t know how much discount you will receive and if there’s any restriction. The flavors are constantly changing. Since this is the holiday season, they do have the peppermint flavor and other seasonal flavors available. Please ask kindly for the sample if you are curious or indecisive. They have a variety of toppings available; some generic ones include chocolate chips, mochi, an assortment of fresh fruit and can fruit, gummy worms, and coconut. My total usually comes to a little over five(5) dollars, but I do like my gummy worms, and they are typically heavier than other toppings. The young men and young ladies are always nice and helpful. This is the only food place at the mall I would be willing to spend money on. That says a lot.

Skinny Sweet Frozen Yogurt definitely isn’t worth the price– but has a captive audience in a luxury mall where there are few«dining» options. Nothing about this place worked… The staff seemed upset to be there(and with the Strawberry Shortcake headache inducing interior design, who could blame them)… and when I asked for a sample cup, I was told that she’d be over in a minute to dispense my samples… I’m 36. I can get my own sample, thanks lady. After selecting our ridiculously overpriced yogurt and toppings, we mentioned that we saw a promotion in the food court that offered 20% off. She began to argue with us and say that it did not apply on the weekends. We pointed out that the sign didn’t say that– so she got on the phone to call someone, and with a line forming, talked about us like we weren’t there… and with an attitude of «yeah– these guys want that discount we promised them that lured them up here in the first place… yeah… no… yeah… yeah… I told them it didn’t apply on the weekend… I know, right? Yeah… well, this isn’t working… they still want the discount we promised them to get them up here… I thought if I made it uncomfortable enough and let their yogurt melt and the line of people got long enough they’d just give up… yeah… OK. We can give it to them like we said we would? OK.» If it were up to me, I would have left the yogurt on the counter and let them toss it instead of waiting for someone to honor the ad that they placed to get customers up there in the first place… We will definitely not be back.

On the pricey side at $ 0.52/oz(’13 price, not sure if it’s the same now). Got a small amount sans toppings(uploaded a pic). Came out to $ 3…

skinnysweet Frozen Yogurt is a good choice if you want to have something light and healthy to snack on while you shopping inside Fashion Outlets of Chicago. The flavours here were pretty standard but I usually enjoy tart and salted caramel with a touch of granola. There are not where to sit or stand inside to enjoy my frozen treat since the store is more like a To Go place. And like the rest of the patrons, I wandered around the mall till I can find somewhere to sit.

Hello Unilocalers! So I just checked out the new Fashion outlets which are AMAZING!!! I realized that my favorite part of the mall is the top level! It has all the best stores. Along with the great shopping, I came across SkinnySweet. I noticed everyone had there cute cups around the mall. So being a big fan of Froyo, I knew I needed to stop in! Let me say this I am a stickler about my frozen yogurt and This has now just jumped into the number 1 spot! I loved the flavors they offered, nothing too crazy and the perfect amount of toppings to choose from. Original was my Favorite! Another thing I really liked about this place is where it’s located in the mall. I was on a mission to shop and all I wanted was a little something to eat. I wasn’t about to stop and get something unhealthy at Starbucks like a cookie nor did I wanna head ALLTHEWAYDOWNSTAIRS to the food court. It made my shopping experience more enjoyable getting to eat what I enjoy most, Frozen yogurt! So I totally disagree with a review I read down below. The only negative thing I would have to say is… there isn’t one in downtown Chicago!!! I’m a city girl and I guess I will just need to take more trips to the outlet mall to enjoy this fantastic FROYO! Come to Chicago SkinnySweet!

The downside of the new Fashion Outlets is the apparent lack of culinary options. Go into the food court and the only place you are likely to recognize is Wetzel’s pretzels(maybe Freshii if you’re from the city). This yogurt place is nowhere near the food court(what gives?) and it is tiny. I was determined to get some fro-yo so I left my group downstairs and made the trek upstairs trying to navigate the lines for Coach and Prada(yes, they make you wait in line to get into their store). There was a line outside of this place, but that’s because it’s so small and poorly organized. The flavors are in a semi-circle and so service goes one at a time. Almost everyone in line was indecisive because they do have some awesome flavors. I added a star because they did have someone trying to hurry the line along and hand out sample cups instead of it being an absolute free for all. The topping bar was a little bit more organized. There are two tables squished in the front by the register but I can’t even imagine sitting there with that kind of a line forming all around you. I think it was $ 0.54 an ounce which is more expensive than Red Mango and Forever Yogurt. All in all, this isn’t my favorite fro-yo place but it’s the only one in this mall of horrors.

So yea, this place is inside the new outlet mall. Hence I’m not sure if that’s why it was busy or people genuinely like it. I couldn’t walk for 20 sec. without seeing another person with one of these cups. Let’s start with the actual shop itself. Small! Surprisingly efficient though. You line up and make your way around from the froyo to the toppings in a snake pattern. I like the back wall, it’s like still water ripples in milk or something. This is also the first place I’ve seen that uses Ipads for a POS system/cashier station. Now the merchandise. The toppings don’t offer much of a variety. The fruits there are about four which is disappointing. The flavors are pretty standard but the original was a bit too bitter for me. All in all this place is ‘A-OK’ due to the minimal options and how I personally found the taste.
