Denny’s

This has by far become my favourite Dennys. At least in the middle of the night. The wait staff these last few months, have been great. There is one gentleman who will came sit with me when I’m mostly the only one there, and we just talk. The others are extremely friendly and helpful. I must come in when the same cook is cooking. He does an amazing job. He gets my order right every single time, dispite the changes I make to the recipes. And to top it off, it always tastes great.
If I had one complaint, it’s for one waitress who likes to bring peoples bill at the beginning of their meal. I just got my food, and there’s my bill. It makes me feel rushed and now the chances of me ordering anything else (like dessert) just got crossed off the list.

Censorship of the real opinions of people is what’s wrong with this country. Whatever.

The store manager is rad! He’s friendly and social with every customer making them feel right at home. The food is well you all know good, won’t break your bank account. The staff are all friendly and they seemed like they cared about there job.

Considering we got American cheese on our dishes instead of cheddar, and despite being out of sourdough bread, our experience here was really quite nice. It all boiled down to our waitress, Gene; she was so sweet and funny. We would come back just to see her.
I normally hate American cheese, but my Santa Fe Skillet wasn’t ruined by the switch-​up! The dish was still scalding hot and very delicious. The only thing keeping this from being a 5 star review is the cheese switch, which we didn’t anticipate before the dishes arrived.

Walked in on a early Sunday morning it was fairly busy but I’ve seen it worse. It was just me and my boyfriend, took us 15 minutes for us to get our drink order and by that time we just went ahead and ordered our food. I couldn’t even tell you the waitress’ name because she never introduced herself to us. We didn’t get drink refills for about 20 minutes only because we had to flag her down and ask. She would proceed to go to surrounding tables and check on everyone else but our small 2 party table. We saw 2 other 2 party tables get seat and get their order taken after us yet they both got their food before us. We got our food and it was cold and my boyfriends skillet was burnt I’m assuming from sitting for awhile. She never came to check on us after that except to leave us the bill 15 minutes after we finished eating. I’ve never wanted to walk out of a establishment without paying but we came pretty close. I’ve never had grade A service at a Denny’s but this was by far the worst!

Our waiter was seriously unable to get a single bit of any of our orders correct. One wanted coffee with milk… he got coffee and a large glass of milk… which he sent back. I ordered one over easy egg… I got two. It was like this the whole time. Whatever… it’s a Denny’s…right? UGH… Back to IHOP i go!

We waited 1.5 hours for our food and saw our waitress once. It was a very depressing experience that seemed to be shared from what we overheard from other patrons. This is not an experience that I care to repeat.

The food was as good as any other Denny’s that I have been to. We arrived at noon on a Sunday during ACL. Every table was full and there was approximately 25 people waiting ahead of us. The host told us that the wait time was about 20 minutes. Surprisingly, we only had to wait 10 minutes. The service was friendly and prompt despite how busy the restaurant was. The only true negative aspect of the visit was how warm it was in the dinning area.

Really nice kiddo in there, tall, thin. Dark hair. Really sweet and helpful! Food is typical of any Denny’s. Wait long on a Saturday.

Food and service is great. The wifi can use some improvements (weak signal and slow connection).

Let me just get into it… Jordan is amazing! Overall I love the service at this Denny’s. All the servers I’ve had are great. The customer service is so refreshing. That being said, Jordan is something else. Always smiling, very attentive, and so friendly!

Let me just start by saying the food is the food. It’s Denny’s, not gourmet. But what made our experience here worth five stars was the server. Gentleman by the name of Jordan. He was by far the best I have ever had at a dinner of any sort. Always smiling, very attentive, a real pleasure. Thank you Denny’s for hiring this young man and an even larger Thank You to Jordan. We will be asking for you every time we come in.

I do not care for Denny’s food, for it has never really impressed me. This review is mostly due to the exceptional service we received while stopping in for breakfast on our way home from Austin.
Ms. Gene has been the best server I have ever dealt with, and saying this when being part of a group of 11 on a busy Sunday morning, is saying a lot. She is a true asset to this business, she was on top of everything we needed; our drink orders, our food orders, and any extras. She made an attempt to know her customers and made this place feel like home. We hope to see her next time we drive by this establishment.

Excellent service from Joe! And, terrific sirloin steak and bacon bourbon hamburger. One of our favorite Denny’s.

This is our first time here! Our observation is… this is a very well run restaurant!!! Many employees all doing their job! Manager is hands on!!! Everyone is respectful!!! Of course the food is the usual. We like their menu!!!

How does Denny’s treat a veteran on Veterans Day?
The young man at the counter snatches a clipboard from your hands and throws it behind him without saying a word. That was my «hello, how many are in your party?» He also has a cell phone in his shirt pocket playing hip hip music while treating you like garbage. All the while forgetting he is surrounded by men and women who have endured much more than he will ever be able to contemplate.
Yes, Denny’s offers ALL veterans a free grand slam, but they provide it with little dignity or respect. The young woman who stepped in to intervene didn’t even acknowledge the situation even after she witnessed it.
I haven’t had a truly good experience at ANY Denny’s in about 6 years now that I think about it.

I eat at Denny’s every few months. It’s my go to «breakfast for dinner» place, with the exception of my moms house. :-) I just have to rave about Barbara though! The other reviewer was right — the epitome of excellent customer service. We will be back, and specifically to see her!

1:30 pm on a Saturday
Walk into a ¹⁄₃ packed Denny’s. Plenty of seats and booths open. Told wait would be 25 minutes or so. While waiting 3 couples/​groups left because of the time it had taken to get then food and or drinks. After 30 minutes we were finally seated ordered drinks and food took about 30 minutes for 2 smaller simple meals to be brought out.
Overall food was average for Denny’s. Service was poor at best due to a manager not taking control of the restaurant when it needs to be organized. He Stood around and yelled for food runners to deliver plates so he could continue to stand and flirt with waitresses and not help this «rush»
Will not be back to this location.

We were in need of some food after a night out downtown.
We knew it would be limited due to the time of night and the fact that we still had kids to pick up from gramma’s.
I have to say that this denny’s seemed to go thru a little face lift.
I havent been in one in a few years. for sure. so this was a nice surprise.
The young gentleman behind the host desk, (manager?) was very pleasant and almost made me forget we were in a denny’s.
Our server came by took our order, our food came out promptly, it was hot and went down well.
At the end it is still Denny’s, and the food was although cooked well, just A-​OK.
No offense Denny’s.
However what will bring me back to deciding to return to this Denny’s was the staff and the overall pleasant feeling I had at the late hour.

I was here at 9am and had to leave after waiting for 15 mins or so.
When I got there no one was to greet guests at the entrance, I waited there for about 10 minutes, then a guest came to the register to pay her bill then someone showed up only to ask me to wait with a gesture, he received the lady’s check then he left again, only to come back 3 minutes later to receive another guest who was going to pay his check, then he left again, that’s when I decided it was time to take my four year old daughter to have a special breakfast some where else. Not sure what was his reason to do this.
