Short Stop

Decided to stop by since we had not been to short stop in years. We ordered our meals and after a long wait we finally got our food. As we pulled away, we realized that they forgot to give us all 3 of our drinks and the pie we ordered. My boyfriend went up to the front window with our receipt to get the missing items. Both women working made eye contact with him, but didn’t go to the window to help him. After waiting for 10 minutes at the window and no help or acknowledgement we left. We will no be returning to this short stop based on the extremely poor service.

Watched a young woman walking in from her lunch break. Within a matter of minutes she was preparing food with no gloves !! We asked them to prepare a different one stating it wasn’t sanitary to prepare food without gloves !!! They immediately were annoyed and took even longer preparing the second burger. They had a different young lady with gloves prepare the next sand which while the other girl continued to make food without them !! Please be pay attention to who makes your food !!

Short stop has fell off bad they were Better when the were 89 cent need to change the name to long stop fries taste like old grease burger meat was burnt I will not be back

I have over the time enjoyed a short stop burger. AS fast food burgers go. However after last night I am DONE. I ordered a #1 and #3 with a hot dog. When I got to the window the price was $ 22 and some change. $ 22 bucks for 2 burgers and drinks. Got my receipt and sure enough changed for double order. I said something to the girl and she called the manager who refunded me my money went and took another order then RIGHT TO WORKING ON THE FOOD. No gloves no washing of her hands nothing. I called her to the window and pointed out what she had done she said «We don’t use gloves here.» and went back to making food. She grabbed a dirty towel and was wiping the counter and then again to the register and took money made change then made a hamburger. I AM DONE… I think they should look into this place for cleanliness.

I saw all the bad reviews but they’re all so old so I thought I’d give it a try anyway.
I’m glad I did. The gentleman At the window was very courteous & our order came out pretty quick. I ordered for 5 people. The food was good. We Will be back!

No stars!!! I ordered #1 & #3. They got my order completely wrong. When I called up there they told me well we wrong you up wrong so in order to correct it you have to pay the difference. You read it back to me correctly. Rung it up wrong but its now my fault. Poor customer service. Horrible experience. I ended up having to cook dinner when it was already after 9 at night. Do not go there. They are very unprofessional!!!

old cold nasty food, poor excuse for a manager diedre b. told me she new the burgers were fresh cause she just took them off the grill but she wasn’t sure how long the frys were sitting there. well as far as i’m concerned is i paid for a complete meal not part of 1. they were both cold and nasty. do not eat here food. is definitely not served at a safe temperature. when i ask for here manager she said she would be back for a week she thought. she obviously doesn’t know much about her job or how to treat customers.

My sis in law loves this place, so I thought I would try it out. On two separate trips, I got the bacon cheese burger and a chicken strip with gravy and cheese burger. Both were unpleasant.
The Bacon cheese burger was drowned in ketchup and mustard. The gravy and cheese chicken strip burger had cold gravy and nacho cheese on it.
It is a shame because they have great service, but I will never come here again.

I usually enjoy the short stops in austin but was not too happy with this location when I bought a corn dog and took a bite it was very raw & nasty :(

We wanted to give this place a try so we ordered a burger and had them split it. It was tasty, juicy, lots of lettuce, tomatoes and onions… very nice burger for a reasonable price. We’ll be back.

I like Short stop more than any of the other fast food burger places. The burgers are nice and greasy and the vegetables always seem fresh. I like their fries more than other places too. Recently they started taking credit cards. That was my biggest problem with them in the past.

I made a quick stop today at Short Stop Burgers in Round Rock. I ordered a burger combo and a chili dog. The two young ladies working verified my order twice and once at the window to make sure they got the order correct, I added mayo to the burger. The service they provided was excellent and fast.
The burger was fixed just right and was very good the fries are McDonald like and I like them. The chili (beef) dog was OK but the dog itself seemed a little dry. I didn’t like the chili so I will hold chili next time.
So my experience here today was excellent and overall the food was good. Not much more I can say about this fast food stop.
Will I go back? It has been several years since I ate at a Short Stop so I will be back but not sure how long it will be.
