Okay. When I still had my apartment, this is the closest Chinese restaurant that offers delivery. Also, FOR FREE!
Delivery: ⁵⁄₅ no doubt, also arrived in less than an hour.
The catch… The food was inedible for me. I was craving for Chow Fun and ordered it. Huge mistake. The noodle strands were very thin compared to the good ones I have had. Also, it’s VERY salty. It doesn’t have any flavor at all. I don’t know if they use MSG. I would like to assume they don’t because they just used a hell lot of salt. I also didn’t feel the effect of eating MSG’d foods.
Another thing that I ordered was the Hot and Sour soup. Again, also gross. Way too salty like it’s Salt City.
Last one was the combo I have ordered. I believe it’s the Kung Pao Chicken and something else. I only ate some of the fried rice, which was pretty generic, and the veggies in the Kung Pao Chicken. I didn’t eat the meat at all because again, the food is way.too.salty.
If you don’t know how good Chinese food tastes like and you’re a college student looking for a quick eat, then order from this place. If you’re looking for food that you’d like to enjoy, then good luck!

Horrible! Terrible!!! I am warning you, this place is gross! The food is junk, i got to go And Ended up throwing it to the trash, the fried rice Was old And hard. The noodles where tasteless. The salt and pepper fish was fishless…

I always get delivery, so I can be lazy at home. They say about 45+ minutes but it only takes roughly 20. Two rolls for $ 11? I’m in heaven. Their food is not extraordinary, but for my tastes it’s perfect. I’ve ordered from this place two times since my first and each time was just as delicious as the next. I haven’t been to their location, but I don’t need to thanks to free delivery.

I used to eat here often, but last time my son and I got food posion. So we gave it the benefit of the doubt and thought we would try them again. Well to our misfortune, a hair was found in our food and it was really stuck in the food. Yuck! I am done with the place.

Great food, great prices and fast service! We ordered generals chicken, orange chicken, and pork fried rice. Everything was really good! The portions are very large! We’ll definitely have left overs for tomorrow!

Very impressed! The service was wonderful. I was told to expect delivery in about 45 minutes to an hour & my food arrived in 30 minutes. I must say that the shrimp fried rice had large pieces of shrimp in almost every bite… that made me happy! I’m new in town and was looking for a new Chinese food restaurant that was close by with tasty food but also delivered. Cathay Express met all 3 criteria so I think I found my new Chinese food spot!

Five stars for not trying to do anything fancy or exceptional, but doing what they do well. The food is always fast, hot, and exactly what you expect. Delivery is super fast and online ordering is really convenient. I recommend the house chow mien. When I need comfort food that’s my go-​to for carb bliss.

YURM!!! I love this place. It’s legit Chinese food which I can appreciate since I don’t live at home with my parents. They have delivery when I get too lazy to leave the house, but make sure you’e within the mile radius of delivery. My boyfriend LOVES the salt & pepper fish here and craves it all the time. Service is very friendly, but you should check it out for yourself.

This place is the best! I love the curry chicken and the chicken chow mein. You seem to get a lot more when you order to go.

The food is so good and their delivery is super fast! I order here at least once a week for delivery. I like their orange chicken, broccoli beef, Mongolian beef and their pot stickers are made in house which is super good!

My go to Chinese place! I live in a 3 mile radius so I always get delivery. The price and the portion is pretty good. I have a tough time meeting $ 15 mark for delivery. I would recommend it! The people there are so friendly and helpful too.

I eat here too often. I’ll become Chinese at this rate. It is so hard to find the salt and pepper fish dish in Sac. I’ve tried so many Chinese restaurants to my find my favorite dish. And behold! It has been down the street from me this entire time! The portion for large is huge. The prices are fantastic. They even have delivery! The delivery is super quick.
I ordered food once and I made some rice at home after I made the order. The food was delivered before my rice finished cooking. I couldn’t resist eating so I ended up eating it all without rice. Oops.
The people there is so friendly too! I love going there when Jenny’s working. She’s so helpful! I would recommend this place to try! They have combo plates so you can get a little bit of everything at a hella good price.

I avoided this restaurant for more than a year before deciding I should just give it a try, and see for myself. Huge mistake. This is the first time I’ve ever purchased food and it was completely inedible. I tossed out the purchase after just two bites and here’s why:
Sauce-​Flavorless with a peculiar taste that was nothing like you would expect of any traditional Chinese dish.
Meat-​The chicken was grey and tough with chewy fat and skin still attached and undercooked.
Noodles-​Obviously old and reheated leftovers from who knows how long ago.
Rice-​Cold and hard.
Even though I only took two bites I feared all night I would have a painful bout of food poisoning, yet hours later I’m still ok-​this is the only positive outcome of an absolutely disappointing experience.
I don’t care how desperate you are for Chinese food, but don’t waste your money coming here. I know it’s difficult to find tasty Chinese food in Sacramento, and despite my search I haven’t come across a single 5-​star restaurant. But, what I do know, is avoid this place!

Good service.
My boyfriend and I went there our first time on an empty stomach and ordered the special dinner for two. I also tried to add in potstickers but that’s where the server or perhaps owner advised us that it will come out to be a lot of food. We ended up going with his advice and not adding in the potstickers. It turned out to be HUGE portions that my boyfriend and I had to take home to-​go. It was delicious and we ended up eating the rest for dinner too. The orange chicken, chow mien and sweet n sour pork are savory. The fried rice could be a little lighter on the soy sauce. Overall this is my to-​go place for Chinese food.

Great place! Delivery was faster than quoted which is fantastic! Great portion sizes and good flavor, I will definitely be returning!

First time eating this joints food while utilizing the new feature on my pre-​historic iPhone 4’s App and the «Take-​Out Delivery» option utilizing Unilocal new «delivery take-​out» feature which was recently added to it.
I’m sold! Really really blissfully happy. So is my husband Miguel O. and that’s saying a lot.
We don’t eat out very much so when we do I’m rather selective with what and where we dine. McDonald’s doesn’t count as I love McDonald’s and Ronnie is always a safe bet in a pinch. Plus I eat low-​carb and/​or as low carb as I can find especially when eating away from home.
Tonight after a long ass day spent hunched over paperwork which had drained me completely I had forgotten about dinner when my hubbs reminded me it was time to eat & offered to treat for dinner and delivery none the less.
It’s at this point when I recalled seeing a new take out and delivery option on the Unilocal app so we gave it a whirl.
It was amazingly easy, user friendly and our order was 100% correct! This thrilled me beyond belief as I’m really an easy woman to please if accuracy, attention to detail is used and sincerity is apparent. They were.
Here’s some Tips when using the Unilocal app to order:
Do not be dissuaded by the menu you may see when selecting the «view menu» items via the listing.
Instead launch the take out & delivery option and enter your address and pretend your ordering. When you do this their entire menu opens up right before your eyes.
Spicy or mild food? Dietary restrictions? Low-​sodium or vegetarian?
The app also allows you an area for special requests when ordering each item. Loved this!
The app lets you select options for each dish ordered and we utilized the spicy level from mild to flaming and the flaming is amazingly hot & delicious!
We amped up the heat and went for butt burnin spicy hot on all our dishes and they delivered on that request.
In the end when your all done building your order you can select to pay cash at the door or pre enter your credit card.
Building in the tip is also an available feature in the credit card choice for those who don’t carry cash on hand.
LOVED this built in tip option; just sayin…
We ordered Mongolian Beef, Sweet & Sour Pork, deep fried prawns and vegetable stir fry sans the rice and noodles.
All 4 dishes were cooked to perfection and their flavors distinct from each other unlike some places where all the dishes taste the same.
Super fresh ingredients and more than ample servings for each dish left us with leftovers which were delicious reheated the next day.
Pricing was very reasonable and I’m a thrifty creature by nature… Pricing is also clearly listed within the app.
So far in the Arden Arcade area Cathay is our favorite Asian food restaurant and their take out and Unilocal app ability has us both sold as quite honestly I’ve become a bit of a recluse over the past year and having the option to eat freshly prepared food that is delivered hot and with a smile and über timely at that goes along way in my selective book.

ORDERED TAKE OUT: 32oz each
chicken chow mein 3 stars– it tasted like they reheated noodles because I had bits of cold noodles. Chicken had mild flavor to no flavor. Bland flavor in total.
Orange chicken 3stars– crispy and overlay of sauce on it was a lot and taste of oil in your mouth (not good combination
Mongolian beef 2 stars– the flavor had an off taste and look gooey. I personally didn’t like the taste. Beef tasted different and off.
Beef and broccoli 5 stars– I can say this was the best of my order. Crisp and crunchy broccoli and beef cooked well. Perfect!
SERVICE: friendly and helpful cashier girl.
TIME OF WAIT: 15minutes
OVERALL– they gave big portions and cheaper prices than other places. Spend $ 30 for the whole order. Definitely not satisfied. Give it a 5 for service, time of wait but 3 stars for overall food satisfaction. I personally wouldn’t come back maybe just for the broccoli and beef.

Fast friendly service. Food is great I always order the #7. I think these are the same people that owned Wei Wei’s. I have been here a few times and have yet to be disappointed. They also deliver! For the most part the inside is clean, aNd the staff can be helpful.
