GETTHE«BIGFUZZBREAKFASTSANDWICH… STLOUISSTYLE»(that means with onions) and i like it with fresh jalapenos! Haven’t been there for lunch yet, but i have gotten this sandwich 3 times, every time… amazing! The. Best. Breakfast. Sandwich. Ever.(did putting periods after every word make it more credible? LOL) why do people do that?

I have been to this location a handful of times now, each time during lunch time. It gets very busy but they do a good job of getting orders and getting them done quickly. The price is somewhat higher for a taco shop/Mexican food, however the quality and the quantity of the food is there. Between the nachos, quesadillas, tacos, and burritos have all been very good to great. The overall cleanliness has been good each time. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area of Wesport Plaza.

I love going to Fuzzy Tacos whenever I’m in the mood for Mexican! It one of he greatest places to spend time with friends and drink margaritas on the patio! I will continue to return to Fuzzy’s as my number one, go-to, taco joint!

Couldn’t even order. After waiting in line upfront the people at the counter decided they had more important tasks. Without letting me know or say excuse me they proceeded to deliver drinks and answer phones for 15 all the while chatting with other patrons. Will never come back to this overpriced joint as the service is terrible.

We skipped breakfast next door at Panera while meeting friends so we could eat at Fuzzys. Walking in it seemed like the lights were on but nobody was home last Saturday morning. There were patrons at the tables, but nobody up front. My 2 year old was having a grand time running around the area up front hiding from me. With plenty of free time before ordering I walked briskly around the half walls following my little monster. Sadly, there was a 3’x3’ square patch near the front door with something SUPER slick on it. I slipped, kicked the newspaper stand, and knocked down an A-frame sign having it land on top of me. People throughout the restaurant paused at the calamity. It wasn’t my finest moment. I was in plenty of pain, but being the typical guy, I did my best to mask it. A women finally took my order and placed a yellow caution cone near the area.(I’m sure the security footage is hilarious) Food was good enough. Nothing that really knocked my socks off but it seems to be a good value and I like the hot sauce(there’s nothing«Ass Burn’in» about it but I appreciate the sentiment). Ground beef crispy taco is pretty standard but hits the spot. Pork was tender and had nice flavor. Prices are on point. Note soft taco’s(at least the pulled pork) are served on soft corn tortilla warm but not grilled. I’m informed flour is available on request. I have to admit, I’ve seen quite a few fakers try and get something for free out of a slip and fall incident. Honestly I feel like most the time if you’re the kind of idiot that can’t stand on his own two feet you need to accept personal responsibility. But during our meal I saw another patron slip on her way to the soda machine. This is clearly an issue with proper floor maintenance at this establishment. Today 3 days later I’m black and blue from the fall and honestly a little bitter about the whole thing.

35 minute ticket times(albeit on a Saturday) and mediocre food definitely don’t make for a return visit. I’ve enjoyed the Fuzzy’s on Watson several times and really enjoyed myself. Skip Westport unless you really want a beerrita.

Great food! Terrible management! My food has come to me cold multiple times and this time it took thirty minutes to arrive. I enjoy their food but they need to figure out how to serve the busy lunch crowd. Good news for them is I’m not returning so one less to serve. I shared the half hour wait with the lead at the counter and her reply was sorry for your wait and asked me to put my pager at the end of the counter.

I was starving and craving tacos and nachos last week, so gave this place a try. Very disappointing experience! I ordered a grilled vegetable soft taco and bean/cheese nachos. the kitchen staff preparing the food seemed so miserable, like they hated the customers and hated working there. I had to wait over 20 minutes for my order when the place wasn’t even busy. When I finally got my to-go food, I saw ground beef and grease in the bag and on my boxes, but nothing I ordered even had beef in it! Needless to say, I was a bit worried about sanitary conditions but since I was so hungry, I just started eating anyway. The soft taco was soggy and disgusting(look at the pictures, enough said), but the nachos were decent. I really like the spicy sauce that came with the cheese sauce, that was a good combination.

As a taco fan I was very excited that they opened this at Westport Plaza! I would say I was disappointed in the food. It wasn’t the worse but felt like I could of gone to Taco Bell to get the same quality of food. I also would suggest that they work on their salsa game. A salsa game makes or breaks my experience with Mexican food. I would say the best part of this was place was the drinks. I loved the unique version of beeritas with all sorts of variations. If you are looking for a place to grab a drink in the area I would suggest this place even though it’s mainly a restaurant.

If you don’t have a lot of expectations in terms of customer service, this restaurant is good for the price point. I love the spicy pork taco and the breakfast taco selections. The queso is terribly bland — don’t bother. The salsa is pretty decent and goes great on top of the tacos. I actually love the maragarita and beerita options but beware that they only come in a jumbo size and it’s pretty easy to get toasty. The price points are great on all the food but the service is pretty awful. Clueless bar staff, unfriendly staff at check out and a kitchen staff that seems incredibly annoyed to make your chips and salsa. If you are looking for a quick bite before a movie or want to hit up happy hour, no complaints here.

First time visiting this restaurant. The food was really good. I had the California Baja taco and brisket taco. The only complaint is I went over my lunch break on a Tuesday, placed my order at 1:33 and didn’t get it until 1:55. Almost a 30 minute wait for two tacos. I had to eat really fast and head back to work. Also no ice in soda station. I might come back, but not for lunch!

Four of us decided to check out Fuzzy’s for the first time last night. It’s the type of place where you order at the counter, and receive a buzzer while waiting for your meal, which is fine. What wasn’t fine however, was the sheer confusion that follows. I was told I had to wait a few minutes for my drinks, and to pick up my chips and salsa ahead of time at the window, so I walked over and waited for a good 7 – 8 minutes before finding out they don’t know when you order chips, so you have to tell them(it’s on the honor system, I suppose?). 10 minutes later, I see drinks sitting unattended up at the end of the bar. No one tells you when your drinks are ready, and there are no waiters to bring them to you. I’m quite irritated at this point, so I just walk up to the bar, and grab two beer-ritas that match what I ordered. If I ordered a drink without a beer bottle sticking out the top, or I honestly would’ve had no clue what was mine. Alternatively, if I were a bad person, it would be ridiculously easy to walk up and take any drink I want, since no one is paying attention. The food was pretty good, but not good enough to warrant going back; there are plenty of other taco places with better food and no hassle. I’m sure it doesn’t happen to everyone, but the paper lining my taco basked was soaked in queso, so I literally couldn’t touch the basket without getting it all over my hand. A small inconvenience probably, but by this time I was pissed anyway, so I’m going to mention it. The ONLY reason I’d ever come here again would be to have a few happy hour drinks at the bar, as their margaritas were delicious and priced very well(even though there are no prices on the menu, so ordering is a guessing game).

I ate here recently with a group of friends. The way the restaurant flow is set up is you order at the register and pick up your food near the kitchen. Fuzzy’s is a great location to gather a large group. They have a good sized outdoor patio, the margaritas are decent, and the people are nice, but the food isn’t the greatest. I ordered the beef brisket burrito which I regretted once I got my plate. It felt like one of those moments where you noticed you didn’t order the right thing in your group. The jumbo burrito was not so jumbo. Also the burrito lack flavor, the rice was overcooked, the lettuce/poco de gallo didn’t taste fresh, and the beef was dry and cold. Maybe my experience would’ve been different if I ordered something differently, but there are plenty of taco/burrito joints in St. Louis that fills my needs. Sorry, Fuzzy’s Tacos. Your food didn’t leave me feeling fuzzy inside.

Pretty much a train wreck of a dinner. My first experience with this location will most likely be my last. First, they were having problems with their automated system when we visited and had to hand-write the ticket… so that the kitchen could screw up our order. When the counter help learned that the kitchen had screwed up our order they made mention of giving us some gift certificates to make up for the issues but that never materialized. Why a two-star? Certainly not just for the issues with the register and the kitchen… the food was lacking, even more so given that I frequent a different location and I know how the food should be served. My special shrimp taco(some promotional item) was the only really good thing I ate. The salsa that came with the chips we ordered was bland and unseasoned. The crawfish in the taco were both tiny and so overpowering in flavor such that I questioned their freshness. I didn’t try a second bite of that one and I love crawfish. The extra shredded beef taco(thanks to the kitchen making us the wrong food) was so loaded with toppings that I could not actually get the sides to come together and a huge pile of stuff simply fell out when I tried to pick it up. When I did get a bite, it was so overloaded with blandness that I didn’t really get a sense of the meat’s flavor. Sorry boys and girls — I’ll stick to your location on Manchester from now on.

Totally overrated. Ordered two chicken tacos and a chicken fajita taco. While the tacos weren’t horrible, they only give you the bare minimum as far as ingredients go. No sour cream, no guac, nothing. I could have made a better taco at home.

HOLYCOW… Again I am not a huge fan of Mexican food, and yes all of my friends love it. This place was da bomb… It is sort of a fast food Mexican place with alcohol. I wanted Sangria, it was delightful and my friend ordered a beer. We were given a buzzer, we ordered the chicken nachos. These were the best I have ever eaten. I am not kidding every chip had a flavor on it. The chicken was shredded not cubed, the tomatoes diced, the cheese was liquid and not globby, the shredded cheese was sprinkled to perfection. If the food was not enough, one of the busers walked by picked up our buzzer he delivered our nachos, plates, forks and even got our drinks… This place would make me change my mind about Mexican.

Strike 1: They ran out of tortilla chips. HOWDOYOURUNOUT?!? Strike 2: just about every table in the joint was dirty Strike 3: I got there and ordered some soup and a drink to have something to tide me over while I waited for friends to arrive(originally I planned to order queso and chips for the table. but yea. see strike 1. That took under 10 minutes to complete my order and get my soup. When my friends arrived I stayed at the table with their baby while they ordered. They got through line in about five minutes and came back to trade. I walked up to order, with 4 people ahead of me in line. For some reason it then took me 20 minutes to get through line. My friends had their food before I could even order. Then my food took forever. They were all done eating by the time mine arrived. Overall we ordered burritos, tacos and enchiladas. We all agreed it was just meh. Chipotle is better if we have to do all the work. El Maguey is better for the price point. I will say the patio is nice and if pressed I’d go back to try their margaritas and maybe even get my chips and queso. Otherwise, not a destination for me.

Off the courtyard so go past St Louis Bread Company– This Americanized Tex-Mex fast order place has a patio & Beer-a-Rita bar to make it more interesting. You line-up to order & get a buzzer for when your food is done. Self-serve soft drink fountain is oddly complimented by a separate alcohol serving bar. After the food & drink choices are made you can sit at the bar, tables inside or outside. Once the buzzer goes off, YOU go get your food. The price is cheap & the food tastes pretty good, but the bar & outdoor patio combo could make me really like this place. $ 6.69 for your choice of 2 tacos &2 sides was nice(check menu pic). They gave 2 two ounce cups of runny but descent sauce for my to-go order & I paid fifty cents for a tasty but not hot salsa. The spicy pork taco was meaty & pretty good. The grilled fish taco was soft & soggy with less meat & flavor. The«Latin fried potatoes» were too salty but otherwise pretty satisfying. The cilantro-lime rice was a slight disappointment on strength of flavor, but I could reorder. Overall, I will be back & recommend for a cheap bite & drink in a better than normal atmosphere.

Lately, I’ve been obsessed with nachos. It’s been the kind of obsession that has caused me to increase my exercise to 2, 3, or sometimes 4 hours a day. The kind of obsession that makes me wonder if 4 hours is enough to counteract the damage from the amount of nachos I’ve eaten. The kind where I’m pretty sure I’m 37% English and Irish, 12% French and German, and 51% tortilla chip. Fuzzy’s chicken nachos have been on my list for a long time, but they’ve been at the bottom of the list because I found the combination of ingredients to be off-putting: 1. Shredded cheese and queso I’m cool with those two. Proceed. 2. Pico de gallo What? No guacamole? I know guac often is an add-on for nachos, but it’s nice when it’s included. 3. Shredded chicken Now we’re getting into trouble. When given a choice, I always get chicken nachos. But I never get shredded chicken. I once had a bad experience with shredded chicken nachos. I’m pretty sure the chicken came out of a can, and I never ordered shredded chicken on my nachos again. That just ain’t right. 4. Garlic sauce Um, what? WTF is garlic sauce, and why are you putting it on my nachos? 5. Feta Okay, you’ve lost me. Is this a Greek restaurant or a Tex-Mex/Mexican restaurant? Feta does not belong on nachos. What the hell is wrong with you people? So, what do you get when you combine shredded cheese, queso, pico de gallo, shredded chicken, garlic sauce, and feta? You get a plate of nachos that, apart from the pico, is monochromatic and kind of blah-looking. Yet, when I finally decided not to judge these ‘chos by their appearance, I discovered the taste is anything but blah. These nachos are perfect in their own effed-up little way. I’m completely dumbfounded. The chicken is good. The feta and garlic sauce add a nice twist. And that queso. OMG, that queso. I’ve had these nachos twice within the past seven days, each time from a different location. Both orders have been to go. The chips are served in one container, topped with the chicken, shredded cheese, feta, and garlic sauce. The queso is packaged in a separate container. You likely also will receive a small container or two of some kind of hot sauce. I’m not sure what it is, but it helps add a bit of spice to an otherwise mild meal. [Tip: You could pour your queso on your nachos when you get home, but I like it as a dip. :)] Out of my two to-go orders, I preferred the nachos from this Fuzzy’s. The employees were super nice, and apparently this location is a new addition to Westport Plaza. That helps explain why I had trouble finding them. I had never been to Westport Plaza and wasn’t sure what to expect. As I approached my destination, Lady Google told me to turn right. «That’s a hotel on the right, but if you say so, Ms. G.» As I drove through the hotel parking lot, which was full of people exiting tour buses, Lady G started shouting commands at me. «Turn right, then turn right. Turn left, then turn left. Turn left, then turn right. Turn right, then turn left.» Ahhhhh! I headed back to the point where she had told me to turn right, and this time I turned left. I passed a Bread Co., an H&R Block, and a Starbucks, but Fuzzy’s was nowhere in sight. A guy, going much too quickly for a parking lot, ended up riding my bumper. Pedestrians were everywhere. Fatboy Slim’s kind of annoying«Slash Dot Dash» was playing in my car. I just wanted nachos! To put this personal anecdote to an end, I parked and eventually located Fuzzy’s. It’s set back between Bread Co. and H&R Block and is across from Trainwreck. If you aren’t a fan of chicken, you can order bean & cheese, spicy pork, or ground beef nachos. Oh, you don’t want nachos at all? Fear not, Unilocal friend. Fuzzy’s menu includes soup, salads, sandwiches, burritos, quesadillas, enchiladas, tamales, fajitas, and even breakfast! Oh, and tacos. It /is/Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, after all. I don’t envision myself ordering anything other than nachos. Maybe someday. It’s just that after trying those ‘chos, my life got flipped, turned upside down. When I first visited their website and was presumptuously greeted with«Welcome to Your New Addiction,» I thought sarcastically to myself, «Sure, okay.» Now, when asked to go to Fuzzy’s, I’ll find myself enthusiastically saying the very same thing: «Sure! Okay!» I’m hooked.

This place is awesome, and it’s their new location that just opened. The food is great, we got spicy pork nachos, and the pork was so delicious. Also a bunch of different kind of tacos, they have a bunch to choose from. We got like one of each and they were all very good. Prices are also very reasonable. Now the best part. Beer-Rita’s. They have about 20 different flavored and we tried about half of them between two of us the couple times we have been here. And watch out, they pack a bit of a punch! Last note, service was very good. Bartenders and wait staff all very nice and attentive. And the atmosphere was laid back and fun with tvs and games on. Definitely will be coming back.
