Dairy Queen

I’m not much of a fast food girl but Dairy Queen is one fast food joint I find myself craving their ice cream and sometimes chicken fingers. This location is in walking distance from my boyfriend’s parents’ home so we’ve walked over a couple of times to get a sweet treat. There’s always been a lot of high school workers ready to take our order so service has been fine. I usually get a chocolate dip vanilla cone but then my boyfriend introduced me to something amazing– the CRUNCH COAT CONE! I still don’t know what exactly the coating is but it’s crunchy and yummy. I wish somehow there was a second layer of it haha. I learned that many DQ’s don’t have this anymore and that’s a shame because I like them… A lot! This DQ has it and I recommend trying it if you haven’t had one before!

I live very close to this DQ. Absolutely worst service on a consistent basis. Always slow, order a combo and they NEVER ask for choice or flavor, and never provide total cost until arriving at window. I am NOT picky; however this place needs to seek new management. It has to be bad when one complains about Fast Food — and it is.

What’s to say, it’s Dairy Queen. A summer institution.
